do you still have any normals in your collection? I'm just getting started and beginning with a clown project... plans in place to go into clown pied for my "Phase 2", I've still got some room in my racks and considering picking up a massive normal adult female. My question is, would you recommend having a normal in a small collection for producing single het/single gene or normal babies? Do they sell pretty quick or not really?
single hets are the hardest thing to sell unless a high end (either rare or highly sought after recessive). I do still have a single normal, because she tosses good clutches usually and I have had her a long time. She just stays because I have rack space. If I was out of space she would likely get replaced.
I’d be curious with the super fire axanthic if you could add a gene that makes more yellow splotches like and enchi or something. Another cool idea might be an axanthic ivory.
