TFT Cowl Vibration Noise Fix

A common problem with the 700MT is an annoying vibration noise around the TFt screen area which happens not long after your first ride. I have a solution which needs to be tested but looks good so far, very easy to fix.

he duct tape acts like a gasket and help reduce vibration, you can use a bit of silicon gasket around the top if needed but this is working for now.

Ok people the noise came back. I contacted CFmoto in Australia and no one knows anything about it. I think a bit of gasket silicone may be next or thicker tape. The 2 screws are not enough on that design.

I used a thicker tape the one for windows and doors unions, and it worked for a while, but then the vibration came back few months later. Today i added some more tape covering the complete surface but it seems like there’s still a little bit of noise.

@@ramirotomasini5120 Yes what a pain! I have another video update on this one and the only thing that works is some elastic connected to the screen bars, the elastic must touch the cowl to stop the noise, check out the video. It works.

@@motorbright I bought new phone holder with mounting system. But the mounting frame touched the sunshade and the noice was terrible so I put just a little rubber between them and now are vibrations a lot lower because maunting system now pushing a little bit on the sunshade so the sunshade does not have too much space to move.
