@Swidhelm sounds great... I'm just interested cause I live in Latvia and finding ANY job at all is extremely hard, finding a job that doesn't require extremely specific skills (like programming, which is epic math/computer knowledge that I don't have) is nigh impossible. More and more people are getting out of Latvia as soon as they can, and I want to maybe do the same but I want to know WHERE to go. Your case makes me believe that things are not *entirely* hopeless.
@vanishy0urself of industrial jobs. Warehouse, factories, etc. There aren't may of them left thanks to outsourcing. The city I live in is a GMC town, and they laid off a shit ton of people. They closed one of the GM plants, which of course has cut the subsidiary workforce way down. Hope isn't lost, it's just scarce. Hopefully things don't get worse. And they may if things keep going as they are in the financial world, with bubbles, and deregulation.
They're meaningless syllables, basically from gregorian chants of old monasteries. You could just learn the meaning of each syllable, or the words that each syllable is a part of, but you still wouldn't have much in the way of useful story telling lyrics. The best you could get are "praise" chants for worship services.
i think this product's price is unreasonable... now i would of brought this no questions asked if it wasn't so ridiculously high... my range is around 300 something dollars i would of brought.... but it saddens me that it is 800 dollars... NEXT!
Voxos is so nice but way too expensive. You guys would make a lot more money if you would just release this at a reasonable price like Venus & Mars Choirs from Soundiron or Requiem from 8Dio.
I was going to say you got it wrong, but I'm looking at the sale prices (and I don't know what the prices were when you originally posted). That said, It's on sale for $300 and if I was a serious producer, that sounds pretty fair, but still too much for me as an unskilled hobbyist.
@vanishy0urself Well, to be honest, things aren't great with the economy the way it is, even over here. But, by the sounds of it you'd have an easier time finding a job here. I make $20 an hour as a part timer, but that is not common here. I only make that because I used to be full time for the company I work for, and have been there six years. But, there are jobs. Not well paying ones unless you've got schooling, or know someone. Here, if you keep your ear to the pavement you'll catch wind of
Requiem was and is awesome, though very expensive too when I bought it. Saw it on sale since for 100 bucks. Voxos is about $349 now. It's big advantage is being able to key switch between many large phrases. Do the whole song on 1 track. It also times the syllable to come down on the beat. No need to extend the MIDI note left if the syllable has an S as in Storm Choir Ultimate. STU is still my go to library now. It's hyper-real and can handle speed and fast transitions. The Vowel legatos are also second to none and the word bank is sizeable as in Voxos, but you can morph syllables for additional sounds. 100% phase coherent even with hall mics added.
Thanks for sharing the video! God bless you! Please remember the following: Therefore, as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so death passed to all men, because all have sinned. Romans 5:12 So, as by the transgression of one (Adam) came condemnation to all men, in the same way by the righteousness of one (Jesus Christ!) the justification of life came to all men. Romans 5:18 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life. John 3:16 And in no other is there salvation; for there is no other name under heaven, given to men, by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 If you acknowledge the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
Can you actually get them to sing actual English words? Or just gibberish? OIC... Latin Roman Catholic B grade horror movie gibberish, then. (Yes, people will throw money at this.) Please make a real choir library, lah. Which year did EWQL make their real word singing Choral Library? Why hasn't anyone else take up the challenge? Ain't buying this, even if I had the $.
My problem is with libraries with 6 syllable word banks like Ark 1. Super repetitive. Voxos at least has a sizeable word bank so one doesn't tend to notice the repetitions anywhere nearly as much. There are libraries that at least potentially allow you to have the performers sing anything. What I can say is that it is 100 times easier to string together syllables into phrases than letters into syllables.
@@MikeBurnsArrangedAccidents - very true. I would think you could easily get all possible syllables into as much memory as the average choir library has now. I mean if they can have all those strings of syllables, many near repetitions of each other, surely they could just make 1 .wav recording of each syllable, or at least for one language. Maybe vocaloid will make a choir 'voice' soon.
I wish you could write your own stuff in the phrase builder
Geht Symphonic Choirs Boy EastWest
oh god, where has this been all my life!

yeah $499 for this? Nooo way to much now $160 or $200 ok i can do but not $499
Is it possible to use the Sustain Effect without the Sustain Pedal? kind of like how Session Strings allows you to select the sustain On or Off
And, of course, all with a *heavy* American accent: "Frrrrrroydah shuunah Guttahfunkah!" as Beethoven might have commented.
yes
This video was very helpful
Sorry CineSamples, it's nice but too expensive, look what soundiron did with Olympus choirs and lower the price^^

Sounds too synthetic... Prefer Requiem

Flox 77 yeah Requiem is way more economic
