Hi there, i have the all choirs bundle & i must admit that this is the most haunting, shimmering, tear dropping, emotional vocal libraries on the market ... the sound is astonishing !!! amazing work ... this combined with the Opera Soprano Maria Library from Soundpaint is an absolute must.
Peace! These vid's are indeed as awesome as they are essential (for me as rookie @lacrimosa)..! I cannot enough express my gratitude, as I'm totally new in the choirelibraryarea. I've always used Kontakts own choire before, but having invested in this Divine product, I sure will dive rite into this one, trying to "master" (pardon my 'frech') it. This Thanx also goes for the free products I was dealt during the Christmassales! (I'm on both knees, head bowed & palms together in a monklike posture; Thankful XXL!) So...I hereby want to reach out to show my extended ThankYou, including my deep appreciation to 8Dio in general & Troels in particular, for offering the discount, allowing me, as a seroiusly financially limited composer, to widen & deepen my toolbox & horizon..!! Being away from work for 2,5 yrs due to seroius depression & anxiety, making music is one of truly few sunbeams in my life! -I now have more possibilities to raise my musical bar when it comes to composite and production. I wish each one at 8 a Blessed & Prosperous 2020! Okeybye (Gustafson; Huskvarna, Sweden, Scandinavia)
VERY important question! What is the range of choir? especially what is the highest note that soprano can hit? we definitely need to know before buying!
Can this Choir library be used to build custom words for lyrics----these multi vowels and single vowels sound like Latin vocals----I need a choir library that can build real words for real lyrics and not Latin vowel sounding textures. Can anyone recommend a choir Library that can build real words???
is it possible to create REAL word in this library? EW has the wordbuilder but can this do the same so i can make the choir sing what i want it to sing instead of burping up gibberish like shown in this video?
The easiest is to compare the specs from each product page (you will find by scrolling to the bottom). Requiem Pro is a normally sized symphonic choir recorded in a large stone cathedral in San Francisco. Lacrimosa is the largest choir ever sampled (200 piece) in the modern Zlin hall.
One of the bad sides of these huge choirs is that on every note you press the amount of singers equals + 200. A chord with 4 notes means you'll have 800 singers, effectively. xD It's not too realistic.
It depends on whether you are playing males or females - how many microphone positions and which microphone positions you are using. The idea with Lacrimosa is primarily for big sounding music (ex. Big Symphonic, Epic Hybrid, Neo-Classical). If you need more intimate choirs we have options for that too (ex. Insolidus and Liberis Choirs). But Lacrimosa is about balls to the walls and there is nothing quite like it around. A 70 piece male bass section is sometimes needed to penetrate a big low mix for ex.
If you're looking for a 200-person choir, then that choir is not going to fit in a small room; there is inherently a reverb going to be there. I get that it's nicer to get it without any reflections so you can put your own impulse response reverb over it, but if that's your thing then I don't think such a classical/romantic era sounding choir isn't going to fit your needs anyway. o.O Every library has its context. You can't use a library for every purpose if you want it to sound good and believable.
What seems to me gloomy is the fact that the vocal phrases evoke in that language something unknown because it is not Latin and if I think badly they are prayers to some evil entity
7:57 is the best part. Nice video
Wow! You guys never cease to amaze us. Thanks for yet another great library!

Now ya gotta do a library thats exactly the opposite & have a lib specifically designed for the highest pitches possibly signable!
Whats the different between this and requiem pro?

@2:50 I literally had goosebumps.
Hello where i can get full intro track and title
Wish I didn’t need the full version of Kontakt
great
Holyshit! I need to learn this. I wanna make bridge of khazaddum humming choir
top notch thru my tannoys and my neumanns. j.
Can I use this in Omnisphere 2??
Does the marcato phrase patch have built-in legato? Like VOXOS does, only theirs sound pretty awkward..
luiza177music haha VOXOS sounds so synthesized...
8Dio Requiem Professional is BEST !
Better than Silka?
is that with the reverbs from mic position or is it added?
Das ist gud!
hans zimmer thanks you
too much reverb no ?
Wow ..
Ideally, it should sing a phrase somewhat similar to this: "I love you" And not strange phrases and if sense.
Nice wet sounding
7:57 xD LOL

Know Eric Whitacre ?
not quite accurate. If you're doing one note in each of the different ranges (1 bass, 1tenor, 1 alto, 1 sop.), you get exactly 200, not 800.

I just purchased Lacrimosa. Thank you, Troels!

dude you TALK SO MUCH

The VST is named after a song dedicated to Mary, but I get the concern
So you mean; only your chosen religion is not evil and hence allowed to have epic choirs?
@@poulwinther Yes
@@kloa4219 Well, I personally find resurrection disturbing. Like really, really Fulci disturbing.
