This is actually fitting. When Cream brings that chaos emerald to eggman it feels more fitting because she's a child and eggman acting well "taking candy from a baby". Also those sadx memories are getting back when you see cream on the city outskirts flying by and thinking that you can unlock her in any way. Man, that many memories, love so much when fans making this stuff.
Cream is the epitome polite child character, so much so that she was introduced as a child-mother pair with Vanilla. She hasn’t developed past that in any storyline that she’s been a part of, and that’s OK. While her character could develop beyond that in a future storyline, her being a regular child character was important to her initial creation as part of the advanced series. I will argue that TAILS was written as a child coming of age in SA1 though, and it’s not past his characterization to have been tricked. He’s also a tech wiz with budding social skills, so there’s another tick against him being tricked. Though even perceptive street-savvy Sonic has been tricked by Eggman in the Adventure series.

When I was a child I always thought that we could unlock cream if we managed to touch her whenever there was a cameo of her during the story mode. So that’s like making a childhood dream come true, it’s exactly as I thought it’d be
If they ever remake Adventure, I feel like adding Cream and Rouge stories would be awesome. Like seeing what they were doing during the Chaos story and before they met Sonic and Eggman. Cream's could even end with Eggman kidnapping Vanilla to set up Sonic Advance 2!

This is actually pretty well-done, all things considered. She's got unique animations, a B-button chao attack consistent with other characters having a unique B attack, you even gave her a seat in Tails' plane. Nice. She even has her own snowboard! I also like how you're using the Heroes VA consistent with the other characters who still had their adventure VAs in that game, so this is probably the voice Cream would have had in Adventure if she spoke in it.

As someone who always got some serious 'L Is Real' vibes from Cream just flying around SA1DX when I played it as a kid all those years ago, this is as cathartic as seeing playable Donkey Kong in DKC2, or playing as Adult Link on Majora's Mask.
AW, her reaction to seeing her good friend Big again is precious. I love the Sonic characters' interactions with each other, because you never get the idea their entire lives revolve around Sonic. They all have heard of Sonic and might interact with him on occasion, but all of them have their cliques and friend groups and often have their own stories going on - like Rouge working with Shadow, or Team Chaotix going on cases, or Cream just spending time with Blaze. The cast can be so endearing at times.

1 day ago… March 20th I watched this entire walkthrough of Cream the Rabbit going through Tails Story having her own custom voice lines and doing some stuff that Sonic did. It was really amazing especially that her appearance of saving the day was changed as she can not do Mechanical work unlike Tails who can prevent a missile from firing she instead just only had to fight Dr. Eggman to save the day. Cheese didn’t even speak at all or made expressions for some random reason.
@Swiss Butkus Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 technically has this issue. But modders found a way around it, by having two selectables in one slot. This allows for 100 fighters, which is more than enough for anyone's dream roster.
I remember playing the GameCube version and seeing cream fly around in each character story. I could never figure out what that was about. It would have made more sense if she was a secret player to play after playing as everyone else.
It was a promotion. Sonic Advance 2 was being worked on and that was her first game. So she was both an Easter Egg and tie in promotion for the new game. It was Sega doing some self promoting to push stuff.

We should’ve gotten this in the DX port since Sonic Advance 2 was already out, and it would be great marketing for players to see her origins and showing what she was doing during the original Sonic Adventure, like in Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga’s remake where it shows what Captain Goomba and his troops were doing in between Mario and Luigi’s story.

It actually originated in an E3 demo in Knuckles' first cutscene (also technically the first chronological cutscene in the entire game minus the Tikal encounters) where he said "Oh no! It's starting to happen!" The voice actor later re-recorded his lines and made him sound more calm instead of gruff. All of the characters hit sounds are taken from cutscenes, they just left Knuckles' demo version in for some reason. There is a mod that fixes this but honestly the meme is so much better.
I thought this would just be a model swap, but they put in voiced dialogue for her. Maybe someday a group of mad lads will make a whole new Sonic Adventure game.

The writing is perfectly like the game. Just as awkward. I love how the intro completely forgets about tails halfway through. That's exactly what the original would have done.

It actually originated in an E3 demo in Knuckles' first cutscene (also technically the first chronological cutscene in the entire game minus the Tikal encounters) where he said "Oh no! It's starting to happen!" The voice actor later re-recorded his lines and made him sound more calm instead of gruff. All of the characters hit sounds are taken from cutscenes, they just left Knuckles' demo version in for some reason. There is a mod that fixes this but honestly the meme is so much better.
I thought this would just be a model swap, but they put in voiced dialogue for her. Maybe someday a group of mad lads will make a whole new Sonic Adventure game.
