I couldn't procrastinate to watch your beatiful lessons! I've never heard the expression "joint gift" and I admit that it hits the nail on the head! Thank you, Kat!
Wow Amazing, Your hand movements is very nice and making big sentences to small sentences is something special and it's an interesting and galvanizing.
Thanks. Great one, short and sweet as usual. I think the new one to me was 'a spoilt brat'. I also liked that expression 'go down very well with..' As to this London's iconic phrase 'Mind the Gap', it's also written on the platform and if you walk on London streets, it's everywhere even on T-shirts!
I have been listening to british accent for a year. I can understand 80-90% without subtitle. But your accent is crystal clear becoz of your moderate speed n pronunciation. Now i started to shadow your. Thanks a million. Upload alot of these kinds of videos plz.
Hi dear teacher katherine I am from Algeria, let me tell you that i have been improving my English through your interesting method of teaching and excellent explanation,i do appreciate your job,i wish you peace and happiness under the sky of prosperity, all the best, take care and have a good time.
Greetings from Thailand ❤️ Wow! I am happy to hear that you have been to Thailand. Hope you had a great time. Yes, I always remember the man’s voice on London tube. Thank you for your wonderful teaching videos🌷
'Today's class was great. My thinking pattern is changing. I did not have the idea and knew the importance of phrasal expression before. Or, the advanced way of expressing in a short sentence. Thank you so much.
I've have been to London! I've been to Eastbourne and Brighton in East Sussex. London is a town that I had always dreamed to go to. So many places I visited, places I had seen only on books, I was blessed enough to visit them. It was my dream come true. Eduardo Bastos. Sao Paulo City - Brazil.
Thank you for your work,Katharine! When I watch your videos,I start remembering English lessons at my school. Our school curriculum was based on the British virsion of the English language and so far the British pronounciation is more natural and familliar to me.I adore british accent!❤
Upgrade for this week done! Haha, one of my favourite phrase is "Mind the gap", because I like the sound of it😂 I even got the "MIND THE GAP" magnet at a small souvenir shop on my last trip to the UK!
I am extremely impressed. Using advanced way/concise way is really knowledgeable. We normally use the words via and fortnightly in business communication quite frequently. But using advanced way is not simple at all. It is always based on the situation you cone across in real life. So, the best way would be you sharing more examples from time to time for us to be benefited in the long run. The easiest ones I found are: 1. We have a five year age gap (this expression can be used a lot). 2: he is the only child (I love this advance way of expression). Teaching is God gifted. You cannot learn it in books. Your style of teaching develops interest in the students. In all videos, I am extremely impressed by your ability to explain any word. Simply outstanding. You may make one video to identify accent of letters like p and t and few more hen they appear at different location of any word. You had already shared one on use of letter r. Thanks
I've never been to London or even the UK, but I suspect that “mind the gap” means that everyone should pay attention if they are not to close to tracks because a train is coming. 😉For this lesson, the term “gripping” was new to me. Thank you, Katharine. 🙂
My english lessons were not too interesting and helpful, but with your help Dear Kathrine, it has became exciting. I see the light at the end of the tunnel. These videos are gripping!😎❤👋🌿
Hi! Katherine ! The sentence i prefrered is i made the bed!!! Much more easier for me! But anayway all the phrases you tought us in your lesson are very interesting!!! Thank's a lot!!!
London underground voice saying "Mind the gap between the train and the platform" was the phrase that was sealed in my mind for quite a time after my first trip. Thank you for reminding me of that. And not only ;) !
My wife and I have a 6 year age gap 😊 my favourite one’s a joint gift, I know join efforts but honestly I’ve never thought of a joint present Thank you Katharine ❤
What I really like about this channel is that you express and explain in a natural way and take examples in casual way. Like you said "mind the gap" of London Underground😆😆
Hi Kathy. How's it going? 😮 wow it was wonderful video. I'm so happy to follow your tutorials. I have a suggestion for you, is that you issue a PDF file for each video that includes the explanation you provide. Many thanks. My best wishes. Moustafa. ❤❤❤❤❤

Hi kathy love from SA,I check your videos for quite some times i love to learn british accent from ur channel and I guess it's more easier and useful than the others, keep up the good work sister ❤
Hi Katharine, "Say this instead" is a marvellous idea. Sometimes I look for some alternatives to sound more like a native speaker. Well done, as always! Best wishes 👏🏼☺️💝
If I were an Indian millionaire,I’d leave all my money to appoint you as an English teacher in my pioneer English institute ❤❤❤.I wonder lonely as a bard viewing all your videos time and again and become charmed in oblivion.
Hi Kate, Great thanks for this riveting lesson! Eager to get the next one. I really love your accent by the way. You are an amazing person, so generous. Great to have you on you tube 🙏
I thought long sentences may help me to express my ideas, but they are not. Using phrasal verbs can describe something precisely and shortly. good video.
Hi Katherine, One question about the sentence of "You need LESS words to make the same point." (0:26). Should it be "FEWER" instead of "LESS", because "WORD" is a Countable Noun? Best, Albert
Hi Katherine, Wow! What a prompt reply! Yes, people are more relaxed these days. At our supermarkets, you can see signs read, "Express Lane: 10 Items or LESS". How funny! Best, Albert, San Francisco, USA
Yes, the guy says, "Mind the gap between the train and the platform".
Yes!You are now my favorite teacher on youtube, your lesson was so gripping.😊

Hi Katharine, Is "...in a sort of MORE deeper way" (2:46) grammatically incorrect? Shoud it be "...in a sort of MUCH deeper way'? Best, Albert
This is conversational English - people speak like this in natural speech 👍
@@englishwithkatharine Thank you! Yes, you are right. Some Americans do the same. Cheers, Albert
