Had the MK4 R32 with a Stage2 VF ENGINEERING SUPER CHARGER and plenty of go fast parts. But 😢 lost her to a flood 😢. Enjoy the car! Nothing beats the awesome music 🎶 from the VR6!
That suucks. I've got the v9 on my mk4 with cogs. Bit of a work in progress but it's cool
Out of interest mate what did you pay in NZD? In Australia we got them locally and know you can import them over there, so keen to know what the prices are like! Here your looking at 15-20k NZD for a reasonable example with around 150-200,000k
I paid right in that range for my car, looks like there worth about the same here as they are in Australia
It is NOT a gen 4 haldex. That wasn't even a thing when the MkV series was on sale.
Should be gen2. My mk4 is gen1
What’s fuel prices like over there ?
Currently for 98 fuel you’ll pay between 3.05-3.35 Nzd per liter of fuel. It has been going up slowly unfortunately. And a 3.2vr6 isn’t going to be easy on fuel 😳. Where in the world are you and what’s the prices there?
@@turbo_tyler_ I’m from the uk prices vary over here my local shell garage sells shell V power 99 for £1.74 which is extortion 😂 but my Tesco garage sells 99 for £1.60 and then when that isn’t bad I have to pay £415 a year for road tax on my mk2 st
@@royalbinbag1536 it’s stuff like that which mates me glad I left the uk 🤣 at least the good thing is there’s loads of parts available there for your st. Here there’s no community for them so everything comes from overseas.

How's the sound with the res delete? I daily my mk5 r32 and want more noise but dont want any exhaust drone
You literally can not hear the exhausts in normal driving below 2.5k revs. But as soon as you open it up then you hear it in all its vr6 glory. Even with the res delete it’s not that loud from inside the car. But outside it’s pretty loud. Would definitely recommend one for a daily driven car and someone who’s looking for some more noise when they want it

I can recommend a Scorpion cat-back, but resonated. Not too loud and perfect for me.
Don't be silly get a milltek non res no drone at all I use mine daily on the motorway and it's really pleasant to drive compared to my mates EP3 and cupra mk1 both have xta back exhausts and both drone heavy .
My milltek non res is facking loud when you open her up but no where near as bad as I imagined with drone.
Had a 106 gti full de cat and pugsport exhaust and the drone after 50mph was horrid. This is miles better
