- Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Michael Doran says the United States put a “protective shield” over Iran when it attacked Israel.
“I think the key factor is the American policy because the United States has put a protective shield over Iran,” he told Sky News host James Morrow.
“It restrained Israel back in April when there was that exchange of attacks between Iran and Israel, it restrained Israel before Iran, and it restrained Israel after Iran attacked.”

@@turnerfamilyinozi allowing Iran to have an uncontested military strategy is escalating the conflict and has enabled Iran to escalate conflict in the area( the surrounding nations themselves have stated). to defeat Iran is the only means to bring about a chance of long term peace. not necessarily a military victory over them but a combined economic, trade, finance blockades and boycotts including a removal of Iran's ability to fight for decades to come might well do what failed appeasement policies have failed to do so far. Iran is a real threat that is not going awa, they will continue their military/ revolutionary plans unless stopped, they have promised that and i believe them. name another way of effectively dealing with Iran and i will read it.

Iran does not want a war with the US, which is why they gave a heads up about there retaliatory strike against Israel in April.
Economic sanctions already exist, but given their main trading partner is China it is not that that effective.
