I've had some luck with the Krej - really love how it casts a mile when fishing around schooling fish that are roaming all over this time of year, and with that shimmer as it falls you don't really have to do much more than splash it down somewhere near a school and wait for one to grab it. I would like your friends at Berkley to make a smaller version though. The Finisher, on the other hand, I've had zero luck with. Not sure if I've been fishing it in the wrong conditions, wrong locations, with wrong retrieve, or all of the above....
I purchased a few of those baits a couple of months ago. When I first saw them worked in a swimming pool, I was hooked on buying them. Berkeley is a great company & I support them. Thanks Matt for the video & do updates.
Great advice, Matt. I think I was overworking it when I tried it before. Excellent advice about how to retrieve. When something doesn’t work, it usually means that’s the problem, not the bait. Thanks for speeding everyone up the learning curve. I hope People appreciate how much time and effort you spare them with your insights. When you only get to go a limited number of times, to have the understanding of what to do that you teach is an enormous benefit.
So far, the krej has caught zero ,but as it cools , I expect it to pick up. The finisher has caught me a few and couple of 3's. I had lookers but no followers, so I probably worked it too much like a flutter spoon. Good video.
That's a very well thought bait but I always think how far ahead off its time the flying lure was produced am almost sure someone out there is using it and keeping it quiet 👍
You really hit on something "BIG" since I do not use FFS I shy away from buying Baits that are marketed for the use with FFS. Marketing is everything. Great video and like all baits it is key to think about your bait and what its doing at all times...
Jimi had a couple videos where he did use it with FFS and said the fish did not like it when it went backwards. He was twitching it like a minnow lure and slow rolling it. I have one but have not fished it yet.
Dang you've had skim ice already in the back waters! I'm from Wichita KS that doesn't sound fun. We'll start seeing frost the first week of November. That's when it gets really good.😎✌️
Thanks for these tips. 1 question. Is the Berkley D walker better than the J walker in your opinion? I want to replace the 110 that I lost but I trust your opinion. Thanks

I like the Krej. I haven't used it a lot but have caught fish with it.
Nice

Bro it’s a knock off from a jdm bait. Most all of Berkeley’s new baits are direct knock offs from JDM brands
Maybe…

👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks
SORRYI MESSED UP
Ok
Its a copy of a jackall riser bait. Been around for a while
It’s honestly nothing like the jackal riser except the turned up lip. That’s strictly a Topwater and the krej is subsurface mainly
