Maybe there's some progress with them and we can hope to see them finally improve and become consistently good with their tuning. Ugh, I just hate it when they stick out a lot. This is how my Variations fit for me and it's quite annoying. Personally, I've come to perceive low impedance as something characteristic of tribrids. Most of the well known Chi-Fi tribrids with EST drivers like Moondrop Variations, Shuoer EJ07m, ThieAudio Monarch mk3/Oracle Mk2/Prestige, Yanyin Moonlight/Mahina etc, have it ranging from 8 to 20 Ohm. Though this is not universal, since, for example, ThieAudio's erlier tribrids like Oracle Mk1, Excalibur, Clairvoyance and even up to Monarch Mk2 had higher more typical impedances. This is a different setup, obviously, but still. If I had better understanding of the inner workings it would have been even easier to predict this parameter. Whatever...

I tend to use what's with the IEM but those Dunu tips are good.
