The Quick! line of Pokepla kits (basically Entry Grades) are super fun to use for seam line removal practice and repainting! A lot of the "detail" color parts on them are designed such that no modding is needed
I know I have friends not into gunpla but into pokemon as a whole. I told them to try pokepla if they wanted a cheap pikachu figure. And they were *shocked* with how nice it was and how easy. It looks great, easy to assemble, fun to put together. I then shilled the EG line just once because I was like 'imagine this, but it can move' But yeah, pokepla are cool. Simple but cool.
These kits are proper solid. They’re like a bridge between entry grade and high grade. So far my favourites are Arceus, Rayquaza, and Garchomp. And of course they’re 100% accurate to the games.
I just bought and assembled a Metagross kit. While I wish it was a bit more articulated in the legs, the sculpt is REALLY good as well and coloring. I've been building a slew of 30 mm kits and oddly enough this Metagross kit is the favorite I've built recently. Kind of want to try the Arceus kit.
I *LOVE* my Pokepla kits. They are super cheap, they build super quick, and it makes them incredible candidates to paint! I have my Rayquaza painted up in a metallic green, and a Metagross painted as a shiny.
I have RESHIRAM and GARDEVOIR. Despite there simplicity, there surprisingly well designed! I enjoy building them. The next one I’m considering getting is the RIOLU/LUCARIO.
I have them, and I will warn you Riolu won't stand up by himself if a light breeze hits him. And since these are older ones, the ears are hollow and covered with a sticker on the Riolu, Lucario only has stickers for his eyes and toe pads
I dont know if anyone posted this before more but quick rule of thumb for anyone new to Pokepla. All of the quick ones are the same quality as you saw in the video. The regular pokepla on the other hand are all built well with some having unique gimmicks but anything made before Gengar is going to risk being a sticker hell, dont get Ho-oh or Lunala, but after Gengar the only stickers for in the mouth or eyes, even Arceus' little green pieces are seperated. And mecha the Gyarados is a good kit, once i find the time I'm gonna make mine shiny, they also have a giant Magikarp if you're interested
These are perfect kits for younger children to start with plastic model kits. My 4 year old daughter has built a whole bunch of these with minimal help from me (I just help with sticker placement).
Omg these are cute lol, for bandai kits outside gunpla I have the DBZ, Fate grand order and now I'll grab myself one of these. Ty for making more reviews on other plamos from my bandai
I strongly recommend the Pokepla BIG Magikarp. It's super easy to build and needs almost nothing else to fully assemble it, and you can't argue with a gigantic (about 20 cm!) fish boi.
I remember a project someone made a couple years back where they took an HG Acguy and the head from a PokéPla Eevee to make an Eevee beargguy...an Eeveegguy? Either way it was really cool and definitely something I wanna try out sometime.
so anyone finds it funny that Bandai made kits for the "big 3 monster battling" genre? as in Pokemon, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, I think the next thing they should try is making Bakugan kits, lol.
I got my 4 year old goddaughter the sleeping eevee model. She built it mostly on her own while I say at the table with her building my Schwarzette. I have to tell yall I was a very proud uncle that day
I been hankering for their Metagross kit for some time, now I see there's a Gyarados and I'm wondering if all the segments are articulated. Mega Lucario looked like a nice one also
When do we get Pokemon kits comparable to Real Grade or Figure Rise Amplified? Imagine Pokémon kits, but visually realistic or far more detailed than they originally are. I particularly want to see the big dragon types.
Oh, i see them at the end of the isle after the gunpla kits where i usually buy my plamo kits. I'm interested with the simplicity of the assembly but waiting for a Lugia and Ho-oh kit to show up.
The only thing that irks be about Rayquaza is that the eyes aren't their own separate pieces despite the proper colors being on the runners, even on the normal green version
I like pokemon, but I dont personally see the appeal in a pokemon model kit. It looks good though, so I guess if you just want a simple pokemon figure and enjoy building its an option.
It's really impressive how color accurate the parts are and how well they designed the parts. This is intended for younger kids so it's especially what Bandai was able to do at a relatively low price.
Cant wait for the PG PokePla where you have to build the internal organs, skeleton and then finally the skin
1/1 scale mega size !
@@MJRLHobbyStuff of Flabebe
I mean I know thats a joke but that would be pretty cool for people intrested in pokemon biology
@@jukeboxjimmy8722Pikachu would have tiny double a batteries somewhere.
They already do dinosaur model kits like that

Ive got the metagross, gardevoir, and garchomp kits. They look great on my pokemon shelf.
The cursed Pikadam. The multiverse will tremble when it teams up with the equally cursed Gintama Gunsam (which totally isn't a Gundam).

Legit impressed with Rayquaza and how much detail was done with plastic, rather than with stickers.

right when I finished mine I ordered another one just so I could paint in shiny form to display side by side. And they are dirt cheap too
I really like how your reviewing different types of model kits
I've built Bandai's Boba Fett & The Mandalorian Beskar edition, and both of those were pretty fun
First one I bought because it came with effect part AND it came with 2 instead of 1. I also like Rio-Lucario(elden ring reference heh)
I have them, and I will warn you Riolu won't stand up by himself if a light breeze hits him. And since these are older ones, the ears are hollow and covered with a sticker on the Riolu, Lucario only has stickers for his eyes and toe pads
I'm glad your doing more bandai kits besides gunpla
The QUICK! line is great; my three-year-old loves assembling them.
bought this exact pikachu along with an eevee and a mimikyu when in Vietnam during my summer vacation; very fun builds

the articulation of that Pikachu is marvelous!
A charmander kit where he’s dressed up like Char Aznable.
Do it, Bandai, you cowards
The Pokepla Garchomp model is nice and I’m currently working on the Greninja model.
Real size pikachu kit would be a must have for any store selling any kind of pokemon related stuffs, even TCG pokemon
These are perfect kits for younger children to start with plastic model kits. My 4 year old daughter has built a whole bunch of these with minimal help from me (I just help with sticker placement).
I had a pikachu pokepla built last year just for fun. Tbh it was a good table display
Finally, you did it
There is another line of Pokepla, the Pokepla Big (Magikarp & Eevee)
I'm waiting for Bandai giving "Amplified" treatment for Pokemon's plamo
My daughter loves building the Quick kits with me. I line up the pieces and let her snap them together.
I've been wanting to collect Pokepla for years. I might start with Pikachu, Mewtwo and Greninja
Omg these are cute lol, for bandai kits outside gunpla I have the DBZ, Fate grand order and now I'll grab myself one of these. Ty for making more reviews on other plamos from my bandai
I have the green Rayquaza in my backlog. I was planning on painting it black.
The MB Astraea Type F Avalung approaches, calmly
I strongly recommend the Pokepla BIG Magikarp. It's super easy to build and needs almost nothing else to fully assemble it, and you can't argue with a gigantic (about 20 cm!) fish boi.
I loved the charmander. That one does need some paint but it wasn't too bad haha
I have Zekrom, Rayquaza, and Blaziken. So far, my favorite is Rayquaza. So much movements and it's long and huge.
I remember a project someone made a couple years back where they took an HG Acguy and the head from a PokéPla Eevee to make an Eevee beargguy...an Eeveegguy? Either way it was really cool and definitely something I wanna try out sometime.
Loving the Pokemon model kits, great work! 🙌🔥

Rayquaza and Metagross have been my favorite from the line.
I have a Kyurem pla and I'm still in love with it.
I used to build this a lot when I was having a gunpla burnout.
The gundam hiatus is kinda fun, I’m excited to see what’s next. Star Wars? A random pirate ship? Who knows
These are fun kits to give to my nieces and nephews
that shiny raquaza looks so cool
In my trip to japan I got the mewtwo plamo and it was fantastic!
I’ve built the bulbasaur and loved it
Can't wait to see your next Pokepla, hahaha
Would love to see your opinions on the BIG! line. Either the Eevee, or for extra hilariousness, the Magikarp...
I want you to review more Digimon Figure raise amplified
When do we get Pokemon kits comparable to Real Grade or Figure Rise Amplified? Imagine Pokémon kits, but visually realistic or far more detailed than they originally are. I particularly want to see the big dragon types.
Shiny Rayquaza!
Oh, i see them at the end of the isle after the gunpla kits where i usually buy my plamo kits. I'm interested with the simplicity of the assembly but waiting for a Lugia and Ho-oh kit to show up.
My roommate loves building these. We build together, he builds these while I build gunpla.
id love to see a review of the mimikyuu, might just buy one myself
I think there will be a squirtle pokepla coming out.
The only thing that irks be about Rayquaza is that the eyes aren't their own separate pieces despite the proper colors being on the runners, even on the normal green version
I have 2 rayquazas and I painted one to be a shiny rayquaza months before bandai actually announced a shiny rayquaza
Try out Gengar.
Do you will try Doraemon plamo for Bandai too?
Yo Mecha, will you ever do a review of the NonZero Studios Thor kit?
In Era+ Thunderbolt as well, i think you would love both of these.
Why haven't you build your alphamon kit??
I’m kinda new to gundam and stuff and recently bought a RG kit what nipper would you recommend I’m trying to get a better cut and clean up
since you're reviewing other model kits other than Gunpla, how about you take a look at Figure Rise Standard Kamen Rider kit? They're very good kit
It's super effective buy a gengar next time.
Gengar Pokepla is best Pokepla.
The magicarp is the best one.
You should try the Naruto kit the effect part for the feet is awesome and cool af
digimon amplified bro!
okay but when you gonna review those Kotobukiya Mega Man kits?!?!?!? Please?
YYESSSSS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
needs some panel line
Mecha Gaikotsu: try not to mutilate the perfect grade unleashed challenge (impossible)
Do FRS Kamen Rider next, please. Any rider will do.
Still waiting for Zygarde 100%
Maybe try some kamen rider figure rise for the next non gunpla content?
I like pokemon, but I dont personally see the appeal in a pokemon model kit. It looks good though, so I guess if you just want a simple pokemon figure and enjoy building its an option.
I thought there was polka gunpla at first from the title.
My Chilhood Anime Are Pokémon And Gundam Series Gundam Build Fighters and Try Gundam IBO
Pika-Gundam, ikimas!
Oh, come-on i thought i could make a RX with Rayquaza head
lol I build most of my actual Gunpla by just pulling the parts of the runners 😅
I just built the charizard vs dragonite
It's really impressive how color accurate the parts are and how well they designed the parts. This is intended for younger kids so it's especially what Bandai was able to do at a relatively low price.
@xxnike0629xx and those younger kids will easily surpass you as a builder LUL
@xxnike0629xx all they have to do is just build a single kit LUL
@xxnike0629xx isn't it sad, suiton? huhuhu
@xxnike0629xx if only you did not became too ...
@xxnike0629xx too
Charlie

Ngl I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a better rayquaza figure
If you were going to get one it should have been Greninja
I had a poker pokepla mewtwo but it broke. I got it a hobby lobby.
I have Greninja and the best boi Rowlet
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing X Pokemon Fans Only!!!!
oh no
Pika Pika ⚡️ 💛🤎🖤
Look mom in the 24th comment!
Digimon > Pokemon
$$$ of Entire Pokemon Franchise > Digimon 😂
Oh, really? Then why people didn't remember at least 3 Digimon lmao. Digimon is stupidly overcomplicated
Digimon kits are better sure
I think the only reason people remember digimon is literally bc of e621
Based. But in games, Shin Megami Tensei > Pokémon > DIGIMON
first
