He's either the only or one of the few roles that doesn't require singing because of the difficulty of the dance. Misto does have some lines in other songs throughout the rest of the show though, like "pied Piper's assistant" and calling Tugger a terrible bore lol
I believe Cats has been around forever because of the effort and love put into each performance by the cast. I love the orginal but also loved the way We got to see this one through new eyes. Great job by all
Corey is such a good dancer. And his phenomenal rounds at the end remind me of the rounds he had to do at the end of "electricity" when he played Billy Elliot as a child.
Wow, very interesting to see what I think is an earlier version of the performance. Corey isn't as confident of a singer as Ricky, but they're both really good dancers! (So annoying that this version also cuts away during the end, but I suppose avoiding the aisle cats is important)
@@callanightshade8079 I can kind of see their point, though. This is supposed to be Mistoffelees' big moment. But if everyone is dancing WITH him, it doesn't feel as special. Misto actually does very little throughout the song.
I’ve loved Cats since I was seven…so for 24 years. My opinion may be unpopular, but this version of this song is spectacularly boring compared to the original Gillian Lynne choreography, which is simply spellbinding. I don’t blame the cast here. I blame Andy Blankenbuehler.
@@michaelwhittaker323 no not really like we need to stop comparing them because they not trying to be like John Partridge. They just doing what they have to do.
This tugger is most fan boy I’ve seen before
he is just gay for his boyfriend
it's interesting to see misto sing too! in the 98 version, he only said presto
Makes sense too, that he'd sing his own song lol
Actually he also said "The rum tum tugger is a serious bore"

Also because they say “you would think there was nobody shyer”
In the original Broadway cast album, Misto did sing a verse of his own song.

i jaw dropping performance. i am IN ABSOLUTELY AWE. this may be one of the best versions of Mr. Mistoffelees number ever

I always heard with this role you had to be a strong ballet dancer. No wonder why they look so graceful out there
I still can't believe I saw this live 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 it was the best
I love the part with 6 kittens appearing from under the curtain
Do you have a full slime tutorial?
I do... Although I'm debating whether to upload it all or just upload certain clips.
@@starlightexpressfan I think it'd probably be safer to upload it in parts, but if you feel the opposite, that's fine! :)
Pretty sure this play was the best Mr Mistoffelees I’ve ever seen
I was at this play it was so cool!
This answers the question is RumTum had chronic gay voice. Respect
He’s got a hip pop influence
ha ha ha u almost got caughtttt LOL
how does it feel for a cats cast member to almost catch you recording the cat
🥰🥰🥰🥰 Omg this is the one I saw nevertheless still love this cat
😊😊😊😊😊
I don’t get why this new stuff added to all numbers, like, it all makes me look elsewhere, and not only Misto...
Because it's a different performance by a different theater group
No two performances are exactly alike lol

I agree, too much happening in the stage that I can't focus at mr. mistofelees and rum tum tugger.
Dancing reminds me of Hamilton
You mean, Hamilton if there was ballet
@@camillechauve1352 isn’t Ballet the little bear in the car?
That's because the choreographer of Hamilton, Andy Blankenbuehler, did some of the choreography for this production!
@@finleyforevermore that explains it. He’s so good
There's only one rum tum tugger and that's John Partridge, sorry! The dancing is still great but John is just the only tugger for me!
Same.
Anyone else can’t look at anything but the 1998 version? This makes me cringe.. 😭
Totally agree 😊
It's literally magical to see irl so if this is ur mindset ur fcked
Terrible singer you can’t beat the 1998 version ever
He's not terrible singer. It just no one can replace John Partridge.

@@gabriellagraham8941 ok if you say so
Elene Page and John Partridge ruin the others actors chances. Like, how someone could top that?
Sorry to say but this guy is terrible. The other one was way better.
