Yay Amy... the Grey Woman!! I read that for the 1860s club! I felt parts were a little intense so I'll be curious what you think. I really liked it and can't wait to read more Gaskell🎉🎉
I'll definitely be a Victorian reader more often than not... I'm still working on reading nonclassics from my shelves to see if they need to stay or go, but I'll just slide them in between the Victorians.
Love your shirt! I'm wearing mine right now too. I can't wait for our Pillars discussion! I'm definitely liking Man and Wife the best of all the Collins I've read. I did enjoy The Woman in White, but all his other books are pretty so-so for me. I would love to see a poetry video! Somehow I'm feeling equally excited to keep reading Vic Lit and to move onto other things, lol
Lol! The equally excited is me, too! 🤣 Ok, I’ll think about my poetry idea! Thanks for chatting. 🥹
@@amyofhearthridgeLOL love it! You're welcome!
Mine has been pretty good, it’s fun to hear about your victober experience.
I also really like the art on your walls behind you!
I need to read Charlotte Mary Yonge's books!! Loved hearing about your reading! I hope November is a great reading month for you 🥰🥰🥰
Yes, they are so lovely, just a teeny bit on the moral lessons side, but overall, really good. And thank you! ♥️
I have loved all my victober reads (with one exception) and am already looking forward to next year… but I am really excited about a nonfiction emphasis next month. Of course I will still have fiction in there and some will be Victorian, most likely.
I just finished Aurora Leigh last night! It was so wonderful. 🤗
I have some more Victorian I want to finish, but I really enjoyed all the ones I read for Victober. The Anne of Green Gables looks good for non fiction!
I used to give my books .. ⭐️. I quit doing that bcz I was either giving them 5 or 1 .. it was a live hate thing 🤣🤣
Would be interested in your video on poetry. I love to write poetry, but have also felt in a bit of a slump recently with it. I've ordered a book on writing poetry from my library as I feel I need some guidance/ structure.
Cozy romance are my favorites
