Foo Fighters - Down In The Park (Last ever live performance in Normal, IL 10/20/97)

This is the last ever known performance by the band of the Gary Numan song 'Down In The Park' and this version obviously features Taylor and Franz rather than Pat and Will as earlier versions did. Video and sound quality aren't great but it's the best there is.

LOL. don't know how everyone knows you, but this is cool and you are cool for sharing it. i've seen your videos before, and they are all really good. i'll have to go visit your website. is it just me, or even if the tape quality had been better, doesn't this seem like a high school talent show performance? i'm not saying they were bad.....it just seems so amateur. i mean i know they had only been a band for 2 years, but still so strange.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it - I prefer William Goldsmith's drumming to Taylor's for this song. This is a grungy song all the way through, and Goldsmith's drumming was way more suited to it - looser and heavier.

They played it when I saw them in 97 . Talkshow was the opening band...side project of the guys in S.T.P without Weiland.
