Makes complete sense. Scratch golfer, I found a swing last fall that worked for all clubs but driver, down swing. Hurt fore arm took winter off.... lost swing. Playing again this summer feel like I lost my favorite puppy.... I could play any shot with it with any club even straight shots lol. I recently started to find it back and think I can get it all back but that was a swing for life and so what Manuel says makes complete sense don't change work it.... Thanks for vid!!

I used to be a pretty good player but my problem was precisely what de la Torre spoke of. Once you know what you are doing, don't change it but rather perfect it.

Swinging at the ball with the clubhead is a totally natural tendency and totally wrong. Swinging the entire club into a top of backswing position then to a full follow through position is not a natural tendency and is totally right. My key is to swing the arms, hands grip unit around my rotating torso. I'm able to control the hand path and still swing them quite quickly. I feel like the butt of the grip is following my belt buckle. When I was able to forget about the clubhead ball proposition and just trust that the proper swing will get the job done i started to really play golf. Its not easy to do and reprogramming bad habits is a process. But worth it if you love golf.
