@@Spider-guy Lol is that a sign of being cultured? I just thought It looked neat that all the suits looked the same as the amazing one. But fuck was it hard to get that last noir suit.
The funniest memory I have with Shattered Dimensions is when I was in the 2099 tutorial level and trying to learn the heavy attacks. I had it on the Wii, so you had to tilt the Wii remote at a specific angle in order to do these attacks, and it took me *WAAYYYY* too long for me to figure that out.

*Shattered Dimensions* is essentially, Spider-Verse, the game. The game that introduced us to alternate Spider-Men and payed homage to past games, characters, universes, and voice actors. *Web Of Shadows* is basically a fan fiction game that every kid wanted. Although a little cheesy with some lack of development and attention to some of its characters, it was a Spider-Man classic!
great choices. although i must say in my opinion, for the Amazing universe, the Kraven and Juggernaut levels were equally fun, just kraven had those sniper segments that was just a bit more fun than the silver sable guys in juggernauts level. But Deadpool's level is the best in the game, not just for his witty banter, but that awesome (& hard) opening segment
Vulture is great but the goblin level is amazing. It is more player driven and I love the idea of the fireworks going off so you have to time your attacks. And omg the audio que for the firework about to go off is so great. It really takes all the best parts off the noir levels and crams them together. Perfection.
*_I have replayed Web of Shadows countless times one of my favorite games all time of course it had it's issues but still i loved the way how dark and Gritty the game was._*
So dark and gritty a boss fight is a trivia quiz, Spidey tries to stop gang violence with the power of a stern talking to, and the VA sounds like Neil Patrick Harris with a sinus infection. Incredible, honestly.
Fun fact Shattered Dimensions was originally Web of shadows 2 but mid-way they drastically changed directions but left the skeleton and core story concept/character design so it's hilarious that your two favorite modern spider-man games stem from the same tree.
Really? Becuase last i checked, beenox had absolutly ZERO rights to web of shadows, and web of shadows was made by tre-arc. Also have you seen the character models for each of these games?? The voice actors??? The fact that WOS had multipal endings???? Nice false info buddy, stop spredding it.
@@i-can-fly4354 it was originally called Spider-man Classic but the studio behind it which was Shaba Games shut down in 2009 the assets, programming, and cocept art (including mysterios design) were later used by Beenox to create Shattered Dimensions. @@PulseBladeenjoyer don't sweat it besides plat trophies require dedication to the game and require a good amount of time to get no matter if they're easy or not
My god, I love these two games. They were my childhood and I'm so sad they are no longer accessible. Shattered Dimensions did Spider-Man fan service so damm well from all the voices of Spidey being previous voice actors for the character, to all the different costumes you can unlock, it was perfect. Then Web of Shadows was trying so many new things as well as telling a darker Spidey story which isnt seen in the games very often plus the open map was so fun to traverse, even if sometimes the web swinging didnt make sense lol. I would become the happiest man on earth if they released these games again, hell I'd buy it for full price too if it was just an HD version of the games but, we have to accept that will never be happening : ( Amazing video, I love to see some content about Spider-Man's extensive list of media outside of the comics and movies
Just imagine if they would do a sequel/reboot-ish thing for Shattered Dimensions, however it is open world, and each character has their own world to explore, and as it goes on (similarly to Web of Shadows/Into the Spiderverse towards the end) the different worlds would be like mashing into one another
the noir combat is annoying but it makes sense given the context first off it has to seperate itself from the other 3 versions which fight pretty similar. also, given that it's not an open world there is less room for flexability in how to tackle enemies, especially when you consider that most stealth games don't emphasize on combat anyway since the focus is on quick, silent takedowns. I loved splinter cell conviction but people often criticize it for being too open ended to the point of breaking the stealth (i've heard the same for black list too). if you get spotted you can just rambo your way through the level undermining the whole concept of the game. lastly, within the context of noir himself, he didn't get super strength, or at least not to the same degree as other spidermen
The fact that Christopher Daniel Barnes, whom I grew up with, voiced Spider-Man Noir meant he became my favourite version of the character when I originally played it.

@@yuhyuh6016 America is a tune. It must be sung together.
Web Of Shadows is one of my favorite spiderman games. So underrated!
HAHAHAAH SAAAAME 😂😅
I had the same issue until we looked at the controls and found an alternate and WAY more standard control scheme, NEVER went back to the original
@Superzayian9 yo are you fr? I played front to back with the shitty motion controls, never knew there was alternate controls😭

Shattered dimensions is a masterpiece imo. There was a couple levels that arent as special as others, but most are amazing.
It's actually my favorite Spiderman game. Wouldn't call it the best but I had most fun with it. I think objectivly PS4 is best one but I didn't enjoyed it as much as SSD

Most definitely
Playing as Venom was amazing, but I also really loved the swinging! it had a great balance of speed and agility.
The two ds games made from these were also pretty darn good metrovanias.
Seriously

@@colin3ds1 Sounds like you should have been born in the 80's. I think regardless of age everyone wants single player games. Have you played Kingdoms of Amalur? Great cheap game with all the dlc for under $10 when on steam sale. The combat is really fun and the magic still looks great 10 years later.
Those were good, but I played Edge of Time on DS and that shit was bad😂
*Shattered Dimensions* is essentially, Spider-Verse, the game. The game that introduced us to alternate Spider-Men and payed homage to past games, characters, universes, and voice actors.
*Web Of Shadows* is basically a fan fiction game that every kid wanted. Although a little cheesy with some lack of development and attention to some of its characters, it was a Spider-Man classic!
My favorite levels in Shattered Dimensions are:
Amazing: Kraven
Ultimate: Deadpool
2099: Doc Ock
Noir: Vulture
solid selections, that Vulture level is so dope
Best spiderman game web of shadow
@@PurposelessRabbitholes hey do you got a link for a emulator that works on ps4?
great choices. although i must say in my opinion, for the Amazing universe, the Kraven and Juggernaut levels were equally fun, just kraven had those sniper segments that was just a bit more fun than the silver sable guys in juggernauts level.
Perfection.
Moon Knight is actually the most useful sidekick, if you want to quick kill enemies.
Wow. I didn't know that, I usually call out Cage or Wolverine.
Cage is the tank. I remember using him a lot for the big robots, he murders them in a few punches XD. But yes moon knight was really helpful.

RazmanianDevil he am just an idiot? Yeah sure he’s the idiot. Not everything you search on google is gonna be truthful, just reading an article from google doesn’t mean you have full knowledge of a game. Stop trying to act smart, your argument just fell flat.

I can't Swing, WHY CAN'T I SWIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG!!!!
(Gets me Every single time!!! )
I would become the happiest man on earth if they released these games again, hell I'd buy it for full price too if it was just an HD version of the games but, we have to accept that will never be happening : (
Amazing video, I love to see some content about Spider-Man's extensive list of media outside of the comics and movies
they are def accessible, I just bought it from amazon a couple days ago
0:19 My mind went into dark places upon seeing that clip.
43:57 Well-timed censorship.
Just imagine if they would do a sequel/reboot-ish thing for Shattered Dimensions, however it is open world, and each character has their own world to explore, and as it goes on (similarly to Web of Shadows/Into the Spiderverse towards the end) the different worlds would be like mashing into one another
Gosh this game would be huge
It's like 4 different games in one
That would be TOO much time consuming
@Kimmy Boy yeah but without Lego lol
Love your comedy, love your reviews, love your niche choices. Keep it up~
Everyone always forgets Ultimate Spider-Man that was one of my favourite.
So glad I found your channel a few weeks ago, I’m loving your videos. Keep up the good work, man!
the noir combat is annoying but it makes sense given the context
first off it has to seperate itself from the other 3 versions which fight pretty similar.
also, given that it's not an open world there is less room for flexability in how to tackle enemies, especially when you consider that most stealth games don't emphasize on combat anyway since the focus is on quick, silent takedowns.
I was wondering what the first one was, I remember playing this game a lot when I was younger. Thank you so much
