  • Hello there fellow model makers. In the second part of the build I will complete the cockpit and the cabin floor, among other things, of my Kitty Hawk 1/35 Pave Hawk HH-60G. We will also paint them. Hope you like the video :)

This video is great. Not only is your work looking great but pointing out the serious issues with the instructions will really be a big help when I build so thanks for that.

Thanks for the great videos, I am just starting the hobby so find them very helpful. What I didn't consider was the amount of glues, paints and tools needed even without getting into using an airbrush, it's not just a case of buying a kit. It's proves to be very expensive. Then there is the complexity of what paints go with what, weathering techniques ect..ect, I started the pastime for relaxation but I have gotten stress with it all haha!.

Lol...yes Paul...when you start off the whole thing can look a little intimidating. But you don't need all the fancy equipment, paints and glues when you are starting off. A good hobby knife, some plastic glue, acrylic paints and oil paints are enough to make a more than decent kit. I just did a hand painted Thunderbolt on the channel, check it out, it's on the channel. And please feel free to ask any questions you may have, I am at scalemodellingmadness@gmail.com. Good luck with the hobby :)

Welcome to the hobby Paul G. Yes, it can get expensive to get started but once you get past that it is not too bad.

This whirlybird seems to be going together well in spite of the poor instructions. Another fine video! Even though helicopters aren't that appealing to me, I really enjoy seeing how you do things regardless of the subject. Thanks for the video and be well, friend. :)

If I buy this kit, I plan to customize and modify the instrument panel of this kit into an LED instrument panel! 0:13

If I were to assemble this model! I made a wolf pack conversion kit and installed it on the left and right sides of the fuselage, and I would like to paint the 'lace [striped expression]' with an airbrush using the Korean 119 helicopter version! 6:17

Were all the fine details brushed instead of airbrushed? 10:33

I've only watched the first two videos of this series. I've got to be honest... As a former Black Hawk Crew Chief, your choices of color are driving me insane. I wish you had done some research before painting. But of course, it's your model to paint in what ever colors you want. Also, you're missing a lot of opportunity to add details such as hydraulic and electrical lines. That being said... Overall, I am enjoying watching you build this model.
