the reason i play rockabilly is simple, ITS ALL AGES... watch thee video. you will see guys in their 60s hangin and having fun with kids in their 20s. thats wwhere its at.
+SparkyBTMP Don't normally comment, let alone to a comment that is over a yea old now plus one that is nearing eight months old, but indeed: This seems _MUCH_ more sociable then any North American cities & suburbs get together of Neo Rockabilly/Rockabilly/'50s revival or interest of the decade. From the (badly overrated) Viva Las Vegas weekend in crummy Vegas to my home city of Nashville havin' its Nashville Boogie or even the lousy west coast Hootinannie; this is truly a lot more natural, cool, laidback & flowing cool good looking time. You kats got it right: Our scene has _WAY_ too many overtly "try hards", criticizing others, worrying about what others put in their hair; proverbial "weekend warriors" of chubby ladies with their strange '40s umbrellas plus heavily tattooed up Neo Burlesque women with super shitty, anti social attitudes. There's always _FAR_ too many out west livin' Long Hairs, loser/burn-outs & Psychobilly kats as well too for me liking from the over 20 or so videos I've seen of Viva. Once again a great post I very much so agree with.
+SparkyBTMP I'm an American and I agree with ya! I love my "style" but I love the music as well as the whole mentality, slang & retro car as well too. I don't like our modern day North American scene of Revival/Neo Rockabilly, even though I am one. _FAR_ too many pricks & stuck up bitches here indeed, and those Las Vegas documentaries ("Viva Las Vegas") is indeed as one gentleman posted down below, just a scummy outwest, long haired fashion show anyway.
i've never noticed that, when i saw it i was in fits, good spot. he was too far away to hit him but the perspective makes it look that way and bash sound i think is the microphone on Ricky
Frank Schimpke na wenn ich deine schmierige visage sehe frag ich mich was du mit rockabilly zu tun hast hahahaha wärst wohl gerne einer darum so frustriert was?? geh weiter schlagermucke hören davon hast du eher ahnung als vom RocknRoll hahahaha

Is it as good as the Hemsby's in the UK (that was)
Much better scene in Europe than in the US. Its all a bunch of pricks here, it seems like a real family ever seas! Big Up!
WAY BETTER!!! US is fashion only!!

dovrebbero fare solo musiche ballabili, quelle fuori schema rockabilly sono inutili...il ROCKABILLY, si balla, non si ascolta.
