Hi i have a mercedes cls 219,i need new engine mounts,the question i have is are both left and right the same engine mount or do you have to buy a left and right because they are both different?

If you have the V6 you will have to take the exhaust of one side
show it on 4matic with M112 engine
Yes single exhaust pipe. Apparently on other videos on the v6 the easier way is to remove the Alternator for one side and on the other side, instead of removing the exhaust or the wish bone, access can be even easier by removing the front tyre, then removing the inner plastic splash guard 🤷♂️, ill be doing mine in November 22, & transmission mount.
We recommend that you consult your mechanic.

Depends on the engine. I have a 4 cyl diesel, and it has one on each side, and one below the gearbox (I think). They are only showing one, as the others are basically the same procedure.
This video is completely inappropriate. The job is too easy. Pick an engine where this job is more difficult so people will actually learn something.
Yes, they are not showing how to loosen rusty/stuck bolts, nor how to get access in places where it's almost impossible to get access, etc, etc,..... But for those of us who has experienced such challenges repeatedly, but are just not familiar with the W211 cars, this is just what we need. All autodoc videos are like this, unnaturally simple, as they are also trying to sell themselves (do'no why, everyone already knows about them), and good knows who is sponsoring them for promoting the spray, which realy has no purpose at all, except as a very expensive cleaning detergent ;-) ..... I completely agree with you. ........ Yet, still, many of their video's are definitely very usefull.
This video is absolute rubbish. You can't access the top 16mm. bolt on these engine mounts without removing the exhaust manifold. there is no room for a 16mm. socket to fit!!!!!
