I remember reading about the Brasso murder in the newspaper at the time. It was chilling. Her body was found in a central Phx park days before her head was found. The paper reported that on the night she disappeared, people heard horrifying screams in the area of the park...I never forgot about this case, and about how tragic and sad that she died that way on her birthday :.( may the victims finally Rest In Peace. I hope her killer suffers for the rest of his miserable life

I am friends with Brandy’s sister and it’s so sad Brandy has not gotten justice. Kristin will keep fighting for her justice. He definitely understood what he has done and deserves to be put to death for all the hurt he has caused. Disgusting human being.

My mother was jogging the canal in the early 90s by the castle and coasters canals in metro center when she was attacked by an unknown man. Soon after, it was taped off due to a homicide which later proved to be him. My mom was a self defense instructor so she was able to escape but I just can’t help but think he was the one who tried it.

Oooh yes it probably was him I came across him in his trench coat and machete sword on the canal behind the church on 7th ave oleanders ran all along the one side - he was standing in oleanders trying to look like Michael Myers scary looking from a distance I yelled at him wtf you doing and never walked canal again I took the long way home long story short a few months later at the crossing I saw a rottie dog that that been dumped in canal I look over and ong it was two bags tied up one partly open and next to it was pieces of a dog rottie dog it’s paws chest someone chopped it up threw it there now after the creepy situation before I never dared to question what else was in those bags. But I’ll say this once he was arrested his face plastered everywhere I’m like FACCCCK THATS HIM that loser who drove the zombie “cop car” … there’s DEFINITELY MORE VICTIMS OUT THERE but he’s not going to give them up that’s for sure

Melanie and Angela should be alive, if Phx PD had done their job and followed up with the name I gave them in August 1993. I gave dispatch his name after he approached me at the bus stop on 19th Ave, just south of Greenway. When I described my interaction with him to friends, they told me that it sounded like he was going to harm me, but I kept my wits. They pressured me to call 9-1-1.
Bryan gave me his name and #, and I even corrected he dispatch guy to get the correct spelling of his first name, that it's with a Y, and not an I. Dispatch didn't think it was a big deal if he wrote "Brian Miller". 🙄.
I've been under a rock between 2008-2021, so I only learned of his arrest about 6 months ago. It still messes with my head, plus the realization I spoke to him briefly at Metrocenter around 2006, outside the movie theater, while he's dressed in his zombie hunter outfit bothers me immensely. Based on his creepy convo with me back in 1993, I think he did murder Brandy.

I am so amazed with genealogical databases being used to match criminals in cold cases like this.. I've been following it since the first cases were solved with it. I come from a family of genealogists, and I ended up being an analyst writing software for 24 years.. I wish I had thought of this! I do have other ideas for database usages to help solve crimes, but I haven't found the proper channels to route them through yet..

See the immature and completely inappropriate attitude and state if mind of police?? So unprofessional to be ever posing in pictures with anybody while on the job in uniform. Here the cops were posing in pics with a killer the whole time. They need to pay attention and get it together as a whole and quit hiding behind that badge for respect they aren't earning. There's more to being a cop than the uniform and just showing up!!! I mean the level of the lack of professionalism is insane.

This dude will be eventually proven to be one of the worst serial killers in history...there are many more victims in Sunnyslope and Tempe area. At least 5 more probably 10. He was fast and ruthless...the Tempe girl found in AJ with no head or hands was 100% his doing as he was in Tempe in her neighborhood that night she was walking alone . The dark grey 4 door car in video following her is the one cops found hidden under a tarp on his property.Myers 100% his also as she knocked on doors a few feet from his door selling cookies and was never seen again. Psycho sicko who took the heads for reasons you can figure out if u want to...

You'd expect someone into steampunk to renovate some kind of old timey car with steam gear. Driving around a modern looking cop car should've been a huge red flag. Nothing screams "kidnapmobile" more than a fake patrol car or a windowless van.

(I was a child when these 2 murders occurred). Before & after moving to Phoenix when I'd visit from Tucson just about everytime I'd pass through that canal on I-17 i could sense something bad occurred there in that area, I didn't know what it was but thanks to this documentary it made my suspicions to be true.

I met Bryan in August 1993, and had an hour long convo with him at a bus stop. I also later majored in psychology and worked a few years in case management of the seriously mentally ill. Applying my knowledge and experience to the question, "did I think Bryan Miller was insane at the time he committed these murders?" I would say, "no."

This all happens because of the stupid law, when a person is suspected, he is supposed to be detained until proven guilty, not to leave him to kill and torture another victim, knowing that some suspicion of him has been proven previously, and then he is executed, not imprisoned.

Was he in jail the whole time between his arrest in 2015 and when he was convicted? The reason I ask is because I wonder if he could be connected to an Atlanta woman’s murder from 2021. Katie Janess was brutally stabbed, nearly decapitated, and had words carved into her skin while out walking her dog in Piedmont Park. The dog was killed too, and the killer has never been found!
