American Girl is actually cheaper than it was in the 80s and 90s. If they actually kept the prices up with inflation, they would actually be about $190 a doll today.

The sparkly birthday outfit is pretty awesome, and I’m not a pink lover to start with. Unfortunately for me I wasn’t able to attend the Berry shopping even since they closed the SF store 😢
Well I had that pink outfit for the baby dolls in my cart for the 18 inch dolls. Spot on! I like the red/white/blue "tennis" outfit. It just reminds me of something you might wear to a tennis club before you change out into the tennis gear. $45.oo for outfits is a bit much so unless I have rewards, love the outfit, or they have some sort of discount going on I won't be purchasing as much unless they do. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Kris, I did get both of the birthday outfits as well. The sparky one I put on my 117 doll and copies the hairstyle from in front of the catalog that she was featured in. I absolutely adore this birthday dress, love the boots and the headband. I love the bitty baby birthday one too and actually put her on the same exact doll that you did. Let me say that I sat for a while stretching out the headband before I put it on my dolls head. I have to tell you that it worked because I had no troubles getting it on her head. I love both of those birthday outfits! Gorgeous!!! As for the other 3 I did not like them. Especially for the price. I too went to the special event in the Los Angeles store and ours was at 6:30pm. It’s was awesome. Thank you for sharing this awesome video. You rock! ❤

I love the new bday dress for 18 inch dolls. I actually think its cuter than the old bday dress. I bought all the new release clothing items. I was disappointed in the stars dress. I feel like with normal kid play the stars will rub off. Name suggestion. Mallory

My #128 is named Vanessa and I call her Nessa usually. I actually got the cardigan outfit and put her in it and she looks SO cute!! I love it on her.
I bought the skirt/sweater combo and the navy dress! I like them both a lot, but I didn't use the red stripe socks. I think the socks would be cute with the garnet birthstone outfit though. If I get the birthday outfit I'll probably use points. I don't think a lot of AGers like the ruffled sleeves because SO MANY truly me outfits are using that style recently.
I wish I would have gone but I never got an email so when I found out about it it was sold out😭 so if they do another I’ll go! Also you’re my favorite creator because you like the pink and sparkling stuff like I do and I see a lot of complaints about it! I’m also debating on buying the dress in girls sizes and wearing it on my birthday😭😭😭
