Hi Maggie. You should do the video Inamorata off their new album it's over 11 minutes and very different from this but just as epic and a instant classic.
Wait until you hear his voice in 'Inamorata' where it has a new bit of vocal style I have never heard James do ever in a studio album!! Plus, it is their longest song to date at over 11 minutes long! That is 11 tiktok songs long...lol Bloody kids today with their goldfish attention spans! lol
Please listen to one of new singles by the brilliant band, Extreme. Rebel would be the best of the three to begin with, I reckon. You'll love the song, be impressed with Gary's vocals, and - I promise you - blown away by Nuno's guitar. They are incredibly good.
This is the best James has sounded in years. The vocal performance he put on this album is probably the best he has sounded since the Load/ReLoad/Garage Inc. era in the late 90s.
Even after all these years, decades even!, Metallica still never disappoints! 🤘🤘🤘 Your reaction and analysis were terrific, pointing out just how well constructed the song is and why it feels so good.
I’m loving their new album so far. The concept and title of it is 72 seasons- the first 18 years of a persons life is 72 seasons. They still killing it after all these years! Love my metallica!
Does not apply on people living in the tropical zone (near the equator) countries wherein it is only 2 seasons per year. This only applies to temperate zone countries (4 seasons per year).
I agree with Mike! Metallica is amazing and they really do never ever disappoint!! They are always at the top of their game, and show why they are at the top of the metal industry. Love them. Great choice & Great job!!!
I've loved Metallica for the last 37 years, and finally a charming, expressive, talented beauty girl explained to me why I love them! With admiration from Belarus.
It's reminding me of HIT The Lights from 1st album Kill Em All when they were teenagers, keyed down a bit. I was lucky, saw Metallica 15 times, I'm 70 now.... ❤❤❤❤❤
Sidenote: just 2 hrs ago, Floor Jansen announced that she will open up for Metallica this next saturday! My comment was: when 2 legends share the stage on one singular event. I will be able to watch her live in may, here in Hamburg.
Yep. I don't care what anyone else says, this album is the best stuff they have done since load/reload. I think I favor it more than them actually of an album as a whole.
This is great, alot of energy, and crunch Metallica definitely delivers. I've heard half the album, or about, this proves they still have an edge. I like hearing your take on their vocal inflections, as well as all the other parts of the music.
"Holy cheese-muffins!" I already liked this song but your reaction to it makes me enjoy it so much more! Probably my favorite reaction to this song & I've seen a handful of them 😅
Wasn’t sure I was ready for another classical composer or opera singer reactor but damn, you blew me away, just like this song did. Your passion for music comes through your expressions and I love how easily you explain and demonstrate aspects of the song. Also, now I can explain what a motif is. Lol. Keep up the great work! And YES, we want more Metallica!!! And eventually Iron Maiden. If I could be selfish here. The first two maiden albums specifically which for me, is their best work to date.
my goodness..! what a review.!! this is the first time i've seen your channel and first review. i was thoroughly impressed with your energy and detailed breakdown of this song.. i enjoyed this review as much as you enjoyed this song.. i hope your feelings were real and authentic because i really appreciate people that can see how powerful this band is.. they are by far my favorite band of ALL time .. thank you 🙏 💪🏼
I think you'd love the band My Dying Bride. Their songs "The Wreckage of My Flesh", "The Crown of Sympathy", "My Faults Are Your Rewards", "Black Voyage", and "My Body, A Funeral" are some of the many great songs they've done. They're typically labeled as a doom metal band, and are from England.
A lot of opera singers don't really appreciate other genres. I love it that you love all kinds of music. I know you're a big Linda Ronstadt fan. The songs she does written by Karla Bonoff really showcase her range, as well as her Mariachi music.
Everytime I hear this tune I like it more and pretty much every song on this album. :-) :-) it's very rare that you get an album with every song being a Banger. :-) :-) Long Live Kentucky bourbon
Have to second this suggestion, Inamorata is such a journey - deep, epic, and beautiful! And the music video adds that contextual undercurrent to really drive home the meaning of the song 🤘
I'll third that! This album is freaking great! Best most consistent Metallica album since The Black Album. No shit to Death Magnetic or Hardwired... but those albums had a couple of really awesome songs but also some less awesome songs. This beast 72 Seasons the entire album is just great from start to finish!
You know, I loved them when Master of Puppets came out and have been a fan ever since. Here's the thing, Maggie... I don't think they're winding down, but the opposite... I actually believe they're more polished now than ever before ??!! They're just getting better as time goes on (as all great musicians do). On November 28, 2022, Hetfield commented on the album's title... 72 seasons. "The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told 'who we are' by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry".
Hi M.R. our dearest J.T.O.S. to see your classical trained mind dissecting METALLICA ! is a mental ecstasy. Like a detective solving a riddle. Thanks dear ! YOU ROCK ! And I can predict the future, I see you colaborating in metal concert showing the "Opera's Power" on stage singing metal !
I saw them live one year ago in Amsterdam. They're so good. And the quality was awesome. I think you will like ice nine kills as well. There nothing like Metallica. But they're very theatrical especially on their last two official albums. With their music videos, which are based on classic horror movies, they created their own cinematic universe story around it. It is awesome. I have created a playlist with it on order. I'll share that in my content under this one. If you're not going to react to them. Just watch them on your own time. You will not regret it 😊
Hey Maggie! I want to suggest you give the band One Ok Rock a listen! They are an awesome Japanese Rock band and I think youd enjoy the cheese muffins out of them! Give the live video for "We Are" from the Japan Dome Tour a watch. It's the finale for that concert and a great intro to the band!😎👍
The beginning had to be influenced by Stranger Things. There's no way it wasn't. The Upside Down color scheme, James literally looking like Vecna with his arms out, and in the middle of the video too where it looks like the border of a portal.
Hey . It's past time for you to watch NIGHTWISH WITH FLOOR. As a suggestion, there are three indications: "Ghost Love Score" Live at 2013 "Storytime" Live at 2013 "The Poet And The Pendulum" Live at Wembley 2015
Black Eyed Peas? The opening could (should) be said to be similar to "That Pulp Fiction Track" / aka "Miserlou" (or "Misirlou") by Dick Dale & His Del-Tones. UA-cam search: Miserlou Dick Dale Del-Tones Any of the "Topic" results should do the job. There's at least one with a surfer and one album cover. A very good reaction, otherwise, particularly the thoughts on James' voice! 🧑🎤🎶
METALLICA!! I’ve probably said this before, but James’ mom was an opera singer too. Great reaction Maggie. I appreciate your positive attitude, and it’s refreshing to see. Sometimes us metal heads get a little too picky about things needing to be complex or super technical. People need to realize Metallica isn’t in 1986-1988 anymore lol. They have a new sound and they’re doing what they love and that’s all that really matters. I agree that this song is amazing. And the whole record is one of their best of the last 25 years IMO
Metallica are brilliant musicians, their music grows on you , it’s very catchy, but very heavy and groovy as well, there is a reason why they are billionaires, while all the others aren’t

Nightwish live at Wacken. The song is GHOST LOVE SCORE.
You're welcome

Holey cheese muffin?!!! Girl, you've got MICE!!! 😂
This is the best James has sounded in years. The vocal performance he put on this album is probably the best he has sounded since the Load/ReLoad/Garage Inc. era in the late 90s.
So true🤘
Over the years, I reckon James has become increasingly adept at using and controlling his vibrato. He's massively underrated as a vocalist.
42 years later and still my favorite band.
Even after all these years, decades even!, Metallica still never disappoints! 🤘🤘🤘 Your reaction and analysis were terrific, pointing out just how well constructed the song is and why it feels so good.
So glad you enjoyed! Thank you! 🤘🥳🤘
Yeah ! Heck Yeah !! She Dissected the structure as a master.

You need to react to "Inamorata" from new album. Incredible song
james as a vocalist and singer holy shit the range
Metallica are the kings of transitions

Hi, thanks for sharing your reaction! Maggie! Metallica 🤟
You should just do the whole album🤣 It's awesome. Especially Inamorata ❤

This one of the best songs on the album it's really great! This Screaming Suicide and Lux Aeterna are the best IMO from the new album
I saw them live one year ago in Amsterdam. They're so good. And the quality was awesome.

They will live stream two concerts in worldwide cinemas in august ( 18th and 20th I believe)…..soooo cool
72 seasons and a dozen holy cheese muffins to go!
Feeding on the wrath of man!
Metallica Enter Sandman
I see them winning Grammies this year.
It is a great album, but nothing will ever top their first 3 albums. Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning and of course, Master Of Puppets.
You forgot AJFA, it’s their most complex album, Lars drums the best, Hetfield voice is at its meanest, tone brutality, AJFA is untouchable
@@romans003 first 4albums are perfect that why ppl love the music decade movies to
