I think Oppo is focusing on their sub-brands to earn profit. 😅
Actually, it's not only in India where Oppo is struggling to sell their devices coz of their ridiculous pricing, also in Kenya, it's the same story. Consumers would rather opt for either Redmi, Tecno, Infinix or Samsung than Oppo
Plus they overprice Reno series,in Kenya don't even think about it's price,70-80k come-on,they also have below par specs compared to their counterparts

Their buds are great. But the phone are just way too overpriced. Any online tech follower will never buy them. Just that the offline sellers force or mislead the customer since they also get a high share... 😢
Oppo Reno 1 is still the best in the series of reno phones they have launched till date. Great Cameras, Sharkfin Front Retractable Camera, Flagship chip, fast charging and good battery.

Not only OPPO, Samsung is a joker if you talk about Processor for the pricing 😂
But samsung have more things to offer than a chipset in the same price segment than any other brand, and it's understandable because samsung is a true flagship brand and delivers the most in s series, and it has a wide range of smartphones to choose from unlike oppo or oneplus, only one model in flagship segment.

Exynos is trash I agree but other than that they are doing good. Oppo is nothing in comparison. Even Vivo, which is a better brand doesn't compare to Samsung.

I mean like I like realme and redmi phones cause they're kind of good for me and realme P1 5G is kind of better than any other mobile that's on the range of 15k, I mean there are several phones but I trust redmi, samsung, realme more than Vivo and oppo cause many shop keepers try to sell it and also not to mention there isn't much of features and the quality the redmi, samsung and realme gives, i mean they have it on stock but they ain't making us buy it like why?
I am just trying to buy a phone that I have completely educated or have knowledge with the phones and I want them why do I need other phones? Like hwy do they still keep insisting to buy Vivo cause its better to our parents like because of that I couldn't get my phone or 1 year and my parents tried to buy yesterday but guess what cause of em they just made it to a later date and it's probably gonna take some times or another year lol
Welp my parents or most of the people like to go to showrooms or offline shops rather than online cause it's better to understand but also we have some kind of trust but these days it's just Vivo and oppo and etc.

oppo is shit. but whatever is being sold in offline market is also like this be it from any brands... all small stores are stocked with low end samsung and oppo phones. the shopkeepers have huge mark up on these phones.
rarely will you find these phones in big name stores.
Oppo had great products at one point of time. I've used the first Oppo Reno with pop up camera. Then Oppo Find X. But now they're just playing second fiddle. Most worst phones. No body's buying them anymore. They're launching bad phones & I'm sure they'll cry after everything's lost.
Or we could say Oppo doesn't see India as a market for their expensive phones. Right now Oppo flagship find X7 ultra is way better then Samsung top tier s24 ultra but the problem is the Indian mentality of placing Chinese brand as cheap. That is also of the main reason why Xiaomi not releasing their foldable in India which is far better then Samsung fold

Nope, Oppo and VIVO are completely different companies .The oppo sister concern is OnePlus and the oppo sub-brand is Realme. In the case of Vivo their sub-brand is IQOO. But Oppo and VIVO both have a common investor(BBK) who holds a certain share in their companies. Fun fact the same BBK founder also owns shares in Apple for that you can't say Oppo , Vivo apple are the same., it isn't
