Whelen made a version of the responder mini lightbar that replaced the two rotators with two 360 degree strobes. This version had a fluted dome, which was used only on this product. Was this unique dome even necessary for the lightbar to function properly? Many other companies had similar bars without this type of dome. An ambulance corps near me has a PR wagon with one of the dual self-contained strobe beacon flavor of Responder, with a 52 Series LED in the center. It's the most pitiful mini I've ever seen. A Wolo is brighter...
