I have been investing for 20+ years, I a 46. 100% of my large caps made money. 99% of my small caps lost money. Remember: In 1990s when I applied for SBI IPO, it was at 90, and it was considered "Expensive". After that my 50 shares have become 750 shares with bonus and splits, and price is almost 700. In 10 years time what is 1000 will be equal to 10,000. People like Shankar get a LOT of information that we retail can't get. And when it comes to transparency no one can beat large caps. So, do as you wish but keep a ratio and not all in small caps. There are small cap companies that show revenue an profit and they do ZERO dhanda.
