I've been a bass head for many years! Now that I'm 40 years of age, I'm told by my wife I'm to old to have a 12 in the car😤. Will I say I'm never to old to love what I enjoy! The build the first bumb the love of a subwoofer and how it sounds to my ears!! Bass head 4 life If I would to win

Kicker is one favorite brands and they have a great weekly podcast they do on UA-cam its called Kicker UnMasked every tuesday. they just did a tour of the facility in Stillwater Oklahoma that i recommend people watching to see all the effort they put into their products. great video Parker and so glad you have the opportunity to be giving away one of there best subwoofers. The comp q series sound amazing. Don’t sleep on them. Very few subs can perform and sound at that price.

Hey Parker, great to see you hit 32k subscribers. Been watching you since the beginning. I remember you upgrading from the Skar 2k to the Audiopipe 3k. That was a minute ago. I'd love to have the Kicker Comp Q. I had some really bad luck and lost my Orion XTR2500.1Dz and my American Bass XR subs recently when my truck was totaled. I need some new equipment for my car when I'm well enough to install audio equipment again. Anyway, thanks for all the 🔥 videos and keep on rocking. I hope you use some of the ideas I left in your last post about doing a single 18 vs two 12's and a lot of different other ideas. Good luck, my friend. Keep growing the channel!

The kicker q subwoofer would be something nice to own. It is an upgrade to my 6.5" LG subwoofer. If i won it I would give it a custom 20 Hz box in a room setup along with 880 watts rms of power. The dsp would be present to prevent overexcursion. Im a 13 year old who started bass recently and have been learning since!

Yea the p1 p2 even the p3 is reasonable but once u get in to the power series the price jumps dramatically and from there you have too sell your first born to afford and are not quite up to par with sundown and dc
P1's and P2's are honestly not worth anyone's time. There is significantly better for less money.
@@casey360360 depends what you’re after, I have a set of P2s and they could be louder, but they’re very clean sounding which was a compromise I made when I chose them over the Kicker CVRs
When I win the CompQ I will have a sealed box made for it to go in my wife’s mustang.
I have a p3 12 I dont think its worth 280 even when it was 250 I dont think it was it looks really good but there not a ton special about it ive tried it free air ill try it in a box when I get one but I dont have more hopes for it then something else

Awesome video bro. I wanna say I’ve had most of those kicker subs except for the cvx. I have the Comp q and it is amazing. It gets the job all the way done. I appreciate the Comp r & Comp c as well they led me up to the Comp q and I am on my 3rd month rocking it with my 1k watt pioneer amp & 6 way prv audio speakers 🔊 on my temporary crunch 1500w amp. Sounds amazing I’ll soon post videos

The Comp Q is basically an Identical to the Q series square model, the box specs are the same, same motor, just different shape cone. I’ve been using and installing the Kicker Solobaric square subs since they were first released around 20 years ago. I started building slot port boxes for them right in the beginning and we did have a really high percentage of customers who bought the cheaper L5 version rather than the L7, and quite a bit more than the average number of them were blowing the subs up in the vented boxes, most likely from not using a subsonic filter which was super important with them, and they also really needed a good break in period before going hard. I’ve owned and used over 50 different subs going back to 1992, and the only time I’ve ever blown one up not on purpose was when I had a sponsor deal with Kicker in 2008 or so, and had built a big custom system in my 2003 Mustang Cobra, where I had done a sealed box for 3 of the L5 10’s, each running off its own Kicker 750.1 amp and within the first few days I had one sub sieze up. I called my guy at Kicker to see if he wanted me to send it in and 3 days later before I got a call back there were 3 L7 10’s at my door. Obviously never had another issue… the new q series are really nice and loud, they just need a big box if you want ported with good lows for bass heavy music.

I got back into the slam almost two yrs ago.
Stepped straight into kicker. Went from comp 10s to comp c12, to comp c 12 with solo classic 12 in comp c box.
Classic does fine vented.. cvx or cvr gonna replace comp c soon for a slam box!

ive been a basshead for 12 years now and finally got myself a Kicker Comp R and im wanting to go 10x bigger and start doing competitions. i want some L7's and i wanna eventually be pushing at least 60k watts and a 4 door volkswagen. im gonna tear the backseats out and the trunk and get as much in as possible. love the content keep it up brotha

I had a Kicker Comp 10 laying around and decided to build a box for it. Turns out its seriously no freaking joke. In the box I designed and built, I got a reading of 126.7 Dcb on my windshield in an SUV, the certified microphone I was using dropped off in between 40-50 hz so I did the test at 50hz, box is tuned to 35.5hz. I'm beyond impressed with it. Once I get my box for 4 15's built my wifes getting the box with a Kick Comp VX 10.
Had 2 CVR 15s to this day one of my favorite set of subs ive owned to date 💪

Their best were the vintage round solobarics .And the cones were the toughest I've ever seen or had. That beefy Kicker comp looks pretty bad ass. Your breakdown of your subs are good. I've been rocking Kicker subs since I started driving. Had 2 round Solobaric 10's in a bandpass in my Dakota, then 4 OG L7 10's, a pair of CVR 10's in my Ranger and I'm about to put a pair of L7T 10's in my Superduty. That CompQ would sound great when I rebuild the system in my Dakota.
