- Hey guys!
On March 14th, a group of us went to the Wegner Crystal Mine to do their phantom dig. In this video are a few highlights from our trip, from my perspective, and a few of my finds as well. That way you can get an idea of what to expect out of this location from an average guy on a Thursday afternoon dig.
There needs to be a 10 person minimum for this dig, and reservations are required. Call their number or go to their web site to book your dig(s).
Thanks, and have a blessed day today!!

Very impressive dear friend,
Very nice! Glad to see a youth group getting out there and doing something fun. Looks like everyone was enjoying themselves. I enjoyed seeing what everyone found❤
I love it when families do this together! Sometimes I can get some of my kids to go, but they don't really like getting up at 3-3:30am to go on an all day adventure with me and get home around 9-10 that night...the wimps. lol
Awesome. Good to see the youngsters enjoying it too
I agree! That makes my day when I see families enjoying this fun activity together!!
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks, my friend!!
thats so awesome! like always good finds
Thanks so much!!
Awesome finds, now i just need to find 9 friends 😂😂
I have to get down to Wegner's bad for some phantoms ... we need to set up a day some time this fall to meet up and go digging again down in the great state of Arkansas
I would LOVE that! C’mon down, bring the Mrs. We’ll have some fun finding some buried treasures together.
I may be coming your way in mid May if my son is needing help getting everything packed up from his college apartment. I would love to check out Darin’s Copper Mine and hit Haunted Ridge. In fact, there’s several places over there I want to check out…geodes, trilobites…all the stuff. 🤣😂
Nice haul for a 4hr. dig❤ It appeared that everyone were happy-campers!😅⛺️Do you ever sell what you find?
Thank you! Yes, sometime I do. I have a show at Oklahoma State University this Saturday then a larger show in Siloam Springs on the 13th-14th where I'll be selling some of my finds. It helps me get back some of my expenses, like gas, dig fees, etc. Also, I use the proceeds to fund future trips so I am not taking away from any of my regular paycheck.
I notice some folks have bags to put their crystal finds in and some use buckets. What is your recommendation?
Also been watching other videos and see all kinds of different tool folks are using. Which tools seem to be best for the digs.
