    I love the idea of 'folding in the air'. I think Origami has become like knitting. Although im sure some wouldnt appreciate the comparision. Hehe. I like origami and knitting.

    Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us :)
    Are your models glued to the podiums you show at the end? Or does the wire stick through, so you can stabilize your models with some kind of "wireskeleton"?

    • @OrigamiByBoice
      @OrigamiByBoice  Рік тому +2

      Thanks for watching! Since these are meant as test folds for poses, I glued them onto the boxes. For more complex models, I craft a wire that can run up part of the leg or hook into a layer.

    • @OrigamiByBoice

      You will want to properly pleat the neck and chest in a way that is able to be turned to the side. You may need to fold in a lock to keep the head in the right position.

    I have no idea how to do the grid.

    • @RandyOrton92
      @RandyOrton92 Рік тому

      I try to explain: You start with the coloured side up.
      Fold the paper horizontally and vertically in half. Then you fold the new parts in half again. you do that until you reach a 8x8 grid.
      Now turn the paper over so the white side shows up. No you fold everything in half one last time to reach 16x16. Turning the paper over for the last step will precrease the accordion grid right away. Your grid will have a mountain-, valleyfold change. If you don't turn the paper for the last step, you will end up with only valley folds, which makes collapsing more difficult.
