1) Vegeta already felt that the power of SSjin 2 Gohan from the Cell Games was a minimum benchmark ( "Impressive ! Even greater than the power Gohan had against Cell " right before transforming to SSjin 2 ). Neither Vegeta, nor Goku think Cell is a big deal anymore ( this is before the Majin charm ). 2) Vegeta knew *exactly* how strong SSjin 2 Gohan was 7 years ago, in fact, he is the one who compares fighters with Cell Games Gohan the most number of times, still he was confident that he had closed the gap due to his training. He was also confident of the fact that he was stronger than Gohan's maximum BEFORE Gohan powered up in the tournament and showed that he was in fact weaker than he was against Cell. All of his predictions and statements do in fact turn out to be correct and the context makes it clear that Vegeta would handle any Gohan with no problem at all. GOKU was the main problem. 3) Vegeta was also confident of defeating Dabura in no time, the same opponent SSjin 2 Gohan was struggling to finish off. Dabura was already stated to be Perfect Cell's rival in power. 4) The ENTIRE Majin possession sequence where Vegeta is floating in the air NEVER has him transform into SSjin 2 even once, its simply his hidden potential being released, enough to increase his BASE power to Goku's level. Had the charm been the sole reason for his SSjin 2 unlock, then he should have shown SSjin 2 at least ONCE BEFORE Goku himself turned SSjin 2 in the desert. But what we see is Vegeta transforming from SSjin to SSjin 2 off his own free with absolute ease and finesse AFTER Goku himself showed SSjin 2 to him. This not only shows prior experience with the form, but also rules out any possibility of the Majin charm having to do anything whatsoever with him going SSjin 2. All of this CLEARLY goes to prove that he achieved SSjin 2 BY TRAINING INTENSELY FOR 7 YEARS AFTER CELL.
TrueSinister never in the series has vegeta lies about his power level. Underestimating opponents power is a totally different thing that all the sayians do. My point is, if vegeta said he was stronger than gohan when he fought cell, he was.
@@samuraisouljones6295 my thing is, why would that statement require SSJ2? If his base was 2x or more stronger than Gohan's (given he was in shape and Gohan slacked way off and lost some power), then his SSJ form would be on par with or above Gohan SSJ2. We know from Toriyama and DBS now that there's no hard ceiling on the first SSJ form, and that its actually the optimal state if properly trained because it produces the least strain.
Sainandan Ramakrishnan 1) you don’t have to say jin in the SSJ... it’s okay just to say SS1 SS4 SSGS... 2) I’m constipated... 3) it’s been 7 days since I took a shxt... 4) I have to re-watch the dragon ball series from dragon ball to GT to super all the movies and everything in between
I like vegeta too but you are obviously wrong. 1. Vegeta always overestimate his power, he usually says he is stronger or on par with goku but he obviouly wrong. He always says he is a strong as his enemy frieza, androids, cell and buu( think he can defeat by himself) but prove wrong too. 2. This also refers to gohan as he overestimated his power too. Also because gohan lack training so he think he might stronger than gohan but not because he achieve ssj2. 3. Vegeta is so ungifted talent unlike goku and gohan. Remember he training very hard to achieve ssj1 but not because of training. Goku only trains 100 gravity and get leads to ssj1, vegeta trains 300 gravity still didnt get anthing.
I didnt even know people thought the Majin transformation was the thing that gave Vegeta ssj2. I always assumed he attained it during the off time leading up to the buu saga.
That was a form called Super Vegeta It was SSJ1, but more powerful due to the increased muscle mass It was not SSJ2. Only Gohan could go SSJ2 at that time
@@zenith616 I thought that all the saiyans had reached ssj2 during the Cell games? When did they confirm that they hadn't? I saw no mention of it in the show?
Because the electricity crackle is such an inconsistent visual flair to this particular transformation and, moreover, because Vegeta's hair already stands up on end, it's practically impossible to tell whether he's in Super Saiyan or Super Duper Saiyan form.
Vegeta even said I’m stronger than you [Gohan] were when you fought Cell. And then it turned out Gohan was weeker than he was as a kid, so Vegeta was significantly stronger. This is how I feel SS2 go most powerful to least: 1. Majin Vegeta 2. Goku SS2 (just a little weaker) 3. Vegeta SS2 before Babadi 4. Gohan SS2 when he fought Cell 5. Adult Gohan SS2
In the Goku SSJ2 vs Majin Vegeta SSJ2 fight, Goku and Vegeta were completely even..... but, Goku was dead so he had extra stamina. Even though Goku had a stamina boost, him and Vegeta were still completely even. That means if Goku were alive at the time then he would be weaker than Vegeta. Now this is disregarding Goku's SSJ3 but the whole reason he unlocked it in the first place was because he was dead and had the stamina boost. Also regarding zenkais, after Goku got knocked out and Vegeta commit suicide, Vegeta would've definitely gotten the bigger zenkai boost. And then him and Goku get equally bashed against Super Buu (Gohan Absorbed) so equal zenkais. But then Vegeta gets tortured by Kid Buu and gets a much bigger zenkai than Goku. So at the end of Z, Vegeta's base is stronger than Goku's but Goku has SSJ3.
In movie 10 when he fought broly adult gohan stated he is stronger than when he was 7 years ago. That was non canon movie that's why he stated that.Ssj3>ssj2 vegeta>mystic gohan in wraith of the dragon
@@Seedonator Goku and Vegeta never fight Buuhan in the manga. You don't get Zenkais when you're dead. Goku and Vegeta were dead even. That struggle we see Goku having is filler. Doesn't make sense for Vegeta to be stronger when they both started the battle evenly matched. The battle in the manga was about 5 pages long.
@@Seedonator but remember thr creator didnt come up with the idea of ssj3 till later in the buu sega he admitted goku and vegeta were even at the time majin vegeta stronger dead goku mor Stamina
@@Seedonator Nonsense. Vegeta's zenkai wasn't enough to get on level with Goku. Goku's base was far superior and don't forget, Vegeta LOST the Majin form thus some of his power went away as well. Goku got exhausted multiple times in the Kid Buu Saga and had to transform into SSJ3 again, thus maening he would get a power boost from the previous fight.
Goku went Super Saiyan 2 against Yakon. It is stated numerous times by Vegeta himself and the manga drew him as such. Pretty please don't fight with me on this - thanks!
I feel vegeta didn't achieved ss2 for the simple fact that he didn't gloat about achieving the power. He Gloated when he achieved Ssj1 and ascended saiyan ( hell he even Gloated when he came out the hyperbolic time chamber the second time getting ready for the cell games) but he didn't here. He even confessed it during the fight with goku while he was a majin.Stating that when he saw goku go ssj2 during the yakon fight, he still felt he was in goku's shadow. Which could be interpenetrated two ways. 1: "IF" he did have the form, he wasn't as strong as goku or 2: that he didn't have it. (And Knowing Vegeta's ego, he definitely would have voiced it)
Tre Roulhac If you watch back the fight (between yakon and goku) on youtube and put the video speed to 0.25 you can see the the blue electricity just before the light surge that blows up yakon.
JohnieLee55 bruh i clicked on this vid just to read the comments on how He supposedly got ssj2 from being under babadi's control, shits hilarious, the fact this is even a vid is funny
Tit0Matic I always assumed he got it in the 7 years. I think your friends don't know that ssj is a power multiplier and not, itself, a power level. Try explaining that two ssj2s aren't necessarily evenly matched since it's a x100 multiplier. Let's say his base power level was 100 and Goku's was 110, yeah Goku is a bit stronger but that's not likely an unbeatable matchup. at ssj2, Vegeta would have a 10,000 power level and Goku would have a 11,000 power level, the gap just widened from +10 to +1,000 Using these numbers, Babidi only would have had to increase Vegeta's base power level by 10 to even them up, that seems much more reasonable than unlocking a whole new transformation for him. These are made up numbers, I have no idea what their power levels were at this point, but that's how I explain it when people don't understand why Ultimate Gohan took damage from ssj2 Goku in DBS when Ultimate Gohan was supposed to be as strong as ssj3 Goku during the Buu saga.
Hero Subs I’m pretty sure that’s where he got it from. Babidi gave vegeta a huge boost. Vegeta wanted babidi to control him for that power boost. Goku was shocked when they first had fought and vegeta turned ss2. Without that boost, vegeta stood no chance
I never understood where this misconception came from, Vegeta wouldn´t have said that he could beat Dabura if he didn´t have the ability to turn ssj2. Probably the same people who think that Gohan wasn´t a ssj2 when he fought Dabura just because there was no lighting... Fantastic vid bro.
When they first meet Dabura Goku states that he is equal to Cell. We don´t know whether he´s talking about super perfect Cell or perfect Cell but it would make sense that he´s referring to the strongest version of Cell, which is SPC. Nevertheless, when Dabura and Gohan start fighting Goku says that he underestimated Dabura and that he´s way stronger than what he thought. This means that Dabura is arguably more powerful than SPC, at the very least much more powerful than regular perfect Cell. As we know, 7 years earlier Gohan was more powerful, and wasn´t even close to regular perfect Cell in his ssj form, so how could he seven years later be fighting waaay better against a much more stronger opponent in his ssj form? Gohan was a ssj2 bro, the lighting is very inconsistent, there have been other scenes in the show where we know for a fact that someone is a ssj2 but there is no lighting.
dabura was cell level. ssj gohan is weaker than teen ssj gohan who was getting beaten by cell. if he was just ssj gohan he would get his ass kick hard.
Jesus-is LORD I´ve read the manga several times and no where is it stated that Gohan was a ssj1 when he fought Dabura. Read my comment where I explain why he was an ssj2, those facts are taken from the manga.
***** The hair shouldn´t be the deciding factor either bro, those kind of things are inconsistent. Rather you should make your decision whether he was a ssj2 or not based on powerscaling. But yeah Gohan´s hair indeed was his ssj2 hair when he fought Dabura.
In the manga Vegeta said: "So Kakarotnis also capable of surpassing a SSJ." That could be the only hint of Vegeta being capable of becoming an ssj2 without help. He also wasn't impressed by Gohans power whom become ssj2 against Spopobich in the tournament
@@UenoLocker54This may be strictly an anime thing, but I almost certainly remember vegeta at one point stating that gohan was the weaker of the 3 when they were facing off with Babidi’s henchmen
@@UenoLocker54 Exactly, that's the whole point - we don''t know if Vegeta was attributing this line to Goku or Gohan. However I still believe Vegeta had already tapped into SSJ2 before the Buu arc started. Why? Firstly, there is no indication Babidi's magic can unlock a new transformation. Secondly, Vegeta tapped into SSJ2 pretty easily, same as Goku who alrady got it. Final argument - even after years of extreme workout it wouldn't be possible to surpass SSJ2 with just a SSJ1 form. We never saw anything like it among the Saiyans in DBZ.
Your assessment of Dabura “Not being a smart fighter” is waaaaaay off. In fact, he was very smart. He was slick with his stone spit attacks, he tipped Babadi on Vegeta, he also warned Babadi about Majin Buu being too strong to control. Dude was smart as fuck. Also I agree, Vegeta was SSJ2 way before the tournament started.
Exactly. Dabura was smart enough to fend off and deflect a clever technique from Gohan and timed a blast to perfection when he re appeared from the water.
Vegeta learned SSJ2 during the 7 years of peace I'm tired of the haters disrespecting Vegeta and his accomplishments remember Vegeta sending Dabura power level was convinced he would defeat Dabura who was strong as or stronger than super perfect cell also Vegeta was far stronger than Gohan at that point in the series by far
ZegetaX1 Vegeta never showed the ability to go SSJ2 until the fight with kid buu. And on top of that, Majin Vegeta and SSJ2 Vegeta are Stated to have similar powers in the daizenshuu. They even share the exact same appearance. Babidi’s power boost allowed Vegeta to obtain the form
the AKC I watched it. It’s wrong. Geekdom says Vegeta has to be a SSJ2 because he’s stronger than gohan. But this means nothing. It doesn’t mean Vegeta has to be a SSJ2 at all. It’s entirely likely that SSJ1 Vegeta is stronger than SSJ2 gohan at this point in the series. Again, the daizenshuu says Vegeta’s SSJ2 and Majin forms are similar in power. They have the *exact same appearance.* and Vegeta never showed the ability to go SSJ2 before receiving the Majin power up. Remember when Vegeta made such a big deal about Goku hiding his SSJ3 form in their battle? It’s because Vegeta thought Goku could only go SSJ2. So he used the Majin power up to obtain the form. Then once he found out Goku had an even further transformation, that’s why he was so pissed at Goku.
TheTannerNation We're talking about the guy who attained SSB without the ritual. You're telling me Vegeta, who attained SSJ grade 2, couldn't attain SSJ2 while training during the 7 year gap after the cell saga??....that's nonsense
The Legendary Negro Saiyan oh yah I remember that arc, in hxh when vegeta wanted the one piece which was hidden inside the dreams cape of a banzai and had to fight hokage sasuke for it
To me it always looked as, when Goku fought yakon, Vegeta was surprised ny the huge power reserve Goku had, for me it honted ssj3 actually. And indeed Vegeta thought they would actually be equal in a fight, Vegeta wanted an edge and babidi who, kind of unlocks maximum potential, gave him that.
R3pherade No, he wasn't. He was confident against Zarbon until he transformed, he was confident against Freeza until he transformed, he was confident against the androids because he couldn't sense their power and he'd already killed one easily. Even Cell had another surprise transformation. Vegeta was right in pretty much every case and only ended up being defeated because the enemy had some sort of hidden extra power.
We never will know the true power of Dabura. And the fact that Gohan can stand a fight with him make me think that comparasion of Cell's power is the Perfect and not the Ultra Perfect Cell. So, Vegeta don't need to be a ssj2 to (seven years later) beat the power of Perfect Cell... And Gohan don't show the lightnings of a ssj2...
+Diéfersom Fernandes That's right, Gohan wasn't fighting Dabura with SSJ2, because he said he wasn't angry enough to do this in that moment, but in the tournament he did because he was angry after seeing Videl gets beaten up by Spopovitch a few minutes earlier...so it just also proves Dabura wasn't as strong as Cell in the edge of his power !
Vegeta was able to turn SSJ2 but when he saw Goku do the same thing he knew that he still couldn't close the power gap and that is when he made up his mind.
Loremipsumdolorsit Amet exactly. So it makes sense. He just saw the power gap. So he made up his mind. He literally said to gohan “ I think i closed the gap between us” multiple times and Taunting goku about it. Thinking with his arrogant ass that he’s stronger than goku now.
@@BabyMikeVenom I'm pretty sure it's just that Gokus base form was higher than Vegetas base form, therefore his SSJ2 form would logically be stronger. So Vegeta needed the majin boost to close the gap.
I thought he only wanted babidis magic so he can become careless of his family and loved ones, because he thought that those things were holding him back from becoming stronger than goku... I might be wrong but that's what I remember from watching that shit as a teen. I specifically remember him becoming more wreck less like when he killed that crowd of people at the tournament
in hindsight you could argue that babidi somehow "fed" his minions evil energy or opened up the place for the evil energy within them to extend and reinforce, by removing the good.
In addition, piccolo also admitted that when Vegeta was chasing after Android 20 piccolo said to everyone "As much as I hate to admit it, Vegeta is a genius in combat." Or something similar to that. Either way piccolo said that Vegeta is very, very good at fighting
Just to provide another piece of evidence: Based on his conversation with Goku before their fight, I think the dialogue indirectly proves that Vegeta became a Super Saiyan 2 BEFORE he became Majin (without the help of Babidi's boost) Vegeta: Well, at least you're stronger than your son when he fought Cell transforms to SSJ2 Goku: Wow, Vegeta, this might take longer than I thought. I know it's hard to catch, but the context of Vegeta's words express that he reached SSJ2 BEFORE the tournament bout started (beginning of Majin Buu saga). And considering he really wanted to fight Goku during the world tournament, he would've known that Goku had to have ascended at least to the point of SSJ2 in 7 years even if he was "dead". So his tone during that dialogue doesn't really come off as "ooooh I just achieved SSJ2". Plus, his Saiyan pride wouldn't dare allow him to talk so casually if he used Babidi's method to ascend and reach Goku's level.
STARWOLF5K Babidi's spell isn't confirmed to unlock new transformations, all it does is give the user a huge power boost. Vegeta had already been in the Time Chamber twice, the max amount of times someone could enter in their lifetime before Dende lifted those rules in Dragon Ball Super. I'm sure with the way Vegeta trains that it isn't impossible for him to have achieved SSJ2 in the span of 7 years. I also think it's safe to assume that Vegeta's SSJ2 transformation wasn't as strong as Goku's, which makes sense if you consider that training in Other World is more efficient than training on Earth. Vegeta probably realized this and made his decision from there.
I think the point of “Babidi’s spell not known to cause transformation” is misplaced. The reality is that the spell does cause a mental effect that allows vegeta to access the rage he was seeking to take him to the next level.
***** Yes. It does. Bulma is referring to ssj2 as if it was something usual, and not out of the ordinary. You think for a second she would have done so if it was something vegeta was not yet able to do?
Since SSJ2 seems to be unlocked by rage, I think Vegeta gained SSJ2 after his six-year-old son achieved the legendary form of Super Saiyan and used it like a toy. I can just imagine Vegeta sitting alone in a dark room, silent as he wades through his existential crisis, before a deafening scream of rage is audible all the way to Kame House.
De'Nico Hawkins He wouldn't of said it if he couldn't manage it at the level of power that Dabura was showing. Just like he was confident that he could defeat Freeza's first form because he didn't know that he had transformations. Vegeta is arrogant, but he's not stupid.
Vegeta was prob a bit stronger than Teen Gohan's SSJ2 (before Majin power up) only thing that makes sense. Vegeta's target power had to have been teen Gohan's. Adult Gohan was only barely SSJ2, reason why Vegeta was so pissed, because there was a noticeable decline in his power. I'm sure in the 7 year gap Vegeta envisioned what Gohan's power was going to be and aimed for it. He expected Gohan to be on par or even slightly ahead of him. But was disappointed by what he saw. Why would Vegeta aim for less than teen Gohan's power lol *After Vegeta witnesses insane power he aims to surpass it. His SSJ1 was arguably stronger than Goku's at beginning of Android 19 saga. Would make little sense for him to aim for anything lower than teen Gohan's SSj2 power. (Teen Gohan's SSJ2 would be Vegeta's target power level goal as a bare minimum).
The reason I think he has ssj2 before he became Majin is because when gohan was fighting Dabura in ssj2 begets wanted to fight him he wouldn't want to if we didn't have that kind of power
Hm, I personally feel like it would be later on in the 7 year gap, mostly due to not having a good training partner during that time to push him, but yeah, I can easily see him already having achieved the form by the time of the tournament. Good show. The just using it to close the gap in raw power does make sense. Goku just cheats by getting super training with gods in the other world! Vegeta real man, no cheats! .. except the time chamber.
The fact that people actually think that Vegeta needed a little wrinkle dick mage to unlock ssj2 is stupid as hell. If gohan was able to unlock it it was only a matter of time until vegeta did Majin just gave Vegeta the slight boost he needed to keep up with a ssj3 unlocked ssj2 goku.
Ignacio Flores yup imagine how strong an ultimate gohan could have been had gohan keep training with vegeta, He also could go into the time chamber again so there's also that.
I agree. Also, when Gohan told Bulma he was going to enter the world tournament with Videl, Vegeta was all in. He knew how powerful SS2 Gohan was back then and even told him he's been doing nothing but training. Why would he even bother if he knew if he couldn't at least match that power?
Can we all just agree. Goku has never beaten vegeta 1 on 1. The first time he wasn't just fighting goku but goku, krillin, and gohan. And the majin fight, well, vegeta was the victor. Deception is a viable tactic and by hook or by crook vegeta was standing and goku was unconscious
burgerkingJ I believe it's because he's seen the disadvantages with Ssj3 when goku fought kid buu. It massively drains your energy and reduces usage time. So I think that he chose to look over it and surpass goku with his ssj2 form
Killua Zoldyck A lot of people, myself included, believe Vegeta obtained SSJ2 post Majin because we never saw Vegeta go SSJ2 before Majin. And on top of that, the daizenshuu states that SSJ2 Vegeta and Majin Vegeta have similar power
No one knows the actual truth. Only the creator. So either theory is correct till shown by the creator. Myself and many others go with the Mark being his tipping point to ss2. Not to say he didn't have the potential for ss2 at that time but the Mark was the last piece in the puzzle to open the door.
Another way to prove that is.. vegeta turned SSJ2 very quick and easily before he engaged in battle with goku. He didn’t struggle. Which shows he already knew how to turn SSJ2. You don’t just know how to transform off bat from a boost of power.
Babidi just got rid of Vegeta's mental blocks. Remember, Vegeta said he would never fight again at the end of the cell saga, his pride was shattered. Vegeta had unlocked ssj2 but his mental blocks, his "fear" of challenging Goku, the guy who kept surpassing him and even his son, again after his pride was shattered was holding Vegeta back. When Vegeta was still evil he didn't have these mental blocks, but after Goku, he changed mentally. So Vegeta's goal was to use Babidi to get rid of these mental blocks, not necessarily making him evil again or increase his power. just getting rid of these mental blocks.
He didn't get rid of his "mental blocks" he basically turned him "evil" it brought out Vegetas wild and ruthless side (maybe primal is a better word) so he had no inhibitations and fought at his best. But the stronger the person under Babidis influence, the less control he has on them, hence why Vegeta did what he wanted and so did Buu, there is proof that the Majinn transformation boosts a persons power, if you look at the first normal humans who beat up Videl, Vegeta knew there was a small boost associated with being controlled and he accepted it to bridge the gap between Goku & himself. Goku naturally would of been ahead, he was in the otherworld with unlimited stamina so he had the edge on Vegeta in training.
But didn't goku give vegeta credit when he turned ssj2 and said he must was doing intense training so vegeta already had ssj2 he just wanted babadi to put the evil hatred back in his heart he couldn't fight goku in his new life state family man
Reading some comments here makes me really doubt some people's intelligence. Have you read the Manga? Everything Vegeta says in it just proves this video's points. Learn to read between the lines. Isn't that something you learn normally in school?
We've been shown what one obtains by allowing themselves to come under the influence of Babidi. They become more resilient. They're able to take an impossible amount of damage and continue on fighting. This was demonstrated when Videl took on Spopovich. He had not become noticeably stronger than when he had fought Mr Satan. He was just as big a man before. The only difference was in his berserk state, and inhumane resilience. He was hit with Videls attacks just as any other normal human being. But now he just shrugged them off. Even if there is some incremental increase in power, which is not consistent with what we've been shown of Babidi's magic, there is no reason to believe Babidi could unlock a Saiyan's transformation for them. This in conjunction with Vegeta's attitude when Goku and Gohan were fighting their opponents serve as a cumulative case for why Vegeta certainly had unlocked SSJ2 prior to his encounter with Babidi. In saying all of this we're ignoring the narrative as a whole, and Vegeta's place in it. Vegeta was a ruthless Saiyan warrior. His job was to commit world-wide genocide over and over, and he would do away with allies if they became a burden, and finish off enemies just to ensure they didn't come back. The Vegeta prior to his death to Frieza, and the one who fought Majin Buu are different people. Slowly Vegeta became familiar with earth, attached himself to Bulma, and even had a child with her. He got soft. He wanted to recover the cold, faithless warrior he had been all his life. His only drive should have been self-preservation, and upholding his own pride. He believed Babidi could make him into what he was before, but as we know that didn't work. If anything it confirmed his knowledge that he had changed, and I believe that at the time of his death he came to accept the person he had changed into. The only reason this is even an issue is that people would like to maintain the gap between Goku and Vegeta. They want to expand it as much as the possibly can, and humiliate Vegeta. That's because Vegeta is proud, and when we see someone who is proud we want to break them. Of course this is a cartoon, but our nature is universal, whether that is in dealing with the real world or a created narrative like Dragon Ball Z. When we see someone full of themselves all we want is to see them fail. That's where drama came from.
No he didn't get if by becoming a Majin. It makes no fucking sense for a power up from a guy who doesn't even know what super saiyan is to give someone the ability to access ss2.
RobtGaming if he didn't give him a new for why does it have its own name? Why wouldn't it just be Gohan instead of Mystic or Ultimate or whatever the official title is?
I think that could be a union of factors. Rage. Broken Pride. Power boost... I don't think Babidi give Vegeta's a transformation. But that boost unlock the necessary. Opinion, course...
"BROLY! The Legendary SUPER SAIYAN! How many pushups did he do? How many sit ups? AND WHAT KIND OF JUICE DID HE DRINK!?! He's soo DAMN COOL, but soo DAMN STUPID!"- TFS VEGETA (Renegade for Life)
@Luis Alejandroyou're right. They're using Vegeta's dialogue as evidence. He's always saying that. In the context of the story he was saying that stuff to convince Dabura and Babidi that he was the one with a hint of evil in him and was stronger than the others. He was bluffing to get the power boost. I love Geekdom but in this case he's wrong and the rest are just sheep.
I always thought that when Vegeta was talking about that scene with Yakon it was the fact Vegeta could tell Goku had achieved strength even further than ssj2(ssj3) so that’s why he wanted the boost. I believe Goku just didn’t want to waste his energy going ssj3 because his time would end, and to make the match fair coz Goku never goes all out on someone if it makes him OP(unless you hurt his friends).
Spot on the analyst. One thing I like to add is Vegeta trained in the gravity room for 7 years after cell arc. Thats how both Goku and Vegeta became super saiyan 1. Goku during his trip to Namek, although he didn't know he was gonna become a super saiyan and Vegeta after the freiza arc spent 3 years in the gravity room. So spending 7 years in the gravity room gave Vegeta a huge boost.
Majin Vegeta was definitely the most interesting plot point of the entirety of the Buu Saga and much like Deborah and his demon king backstory....it was gone too soon. Buu saga started off solid with a some pretty cool plot points that built mystery behind a lot of very interesting idea...then just fell apart(right around the time Vegeta scarified himself) and turned into almost a parody of itself
Im so glad this guy talks some real sense about dragon ball, if youve been a hardcore fan since the 90s like us, theres just an old school way of viewing dragon ball and understanding it thats lost on the newer fans. Im glad you reppin this part of the fandom and slinging REAL knowledge.
I think that Vegeta achieved Super Saiyan 2 during the 7 year time skip and worked non-stop to perfect it in any way possible. What he was surprised is the fact that Goku managed to reach that same level during his time in the afterlife. He knew that Goku got ridiculously strong in the afterlife with King Kai's help, but now he's on a whole new level. Vegeta who learnt to sense and suppress energy realized that Goku has something more to his power and he's possibly stronger than him at that point. Like all of us, Vegeta was curious to find out what the new level of power he has and he got his idea with the Majin. The Majin mode has done three things to him. It not only forced him to go back to his old ruthless self, but it also boosted his powers and subtly unlocked his innate potential. I have a theory that the reason for Goku and Gohan to be stronger than Vegeta in the earlier arc are the results of their potentials being unlocked. Goku's one is unlocked by drinking the Ultra Divine Water, while Gohan got his boost by Elder Guru's unlock ability along with Krillin. On top of that Gohan was born to Goku many years after Goku's victory over Piccolo. Thus the young Saiyan's potential is a lot higher than others. The Enraged State of Vegeta in the Battle of Gods is the result of this unlock, which remained even after Vegeta lost Majin Mark and his initial body.
sheesh, I can't believe that all needed to be explained, that already was a given to me so when did these theories that; vegeta first went ss2 when he went majin, start popping up?
Hey it’s been 4 years, but I haven’t played a dbz game where vegeta could go ssj2 before majin arc, also the understanding of how saiyans work it doesn’t make sense vegeta would just “take power” from someone else to beat goku. Unless there were no options. There’s no evidence to support he had the form prior, he has been training for years, his ssj itself would be an amazing power boost compared to before. Anyway it could go either way but I just don’t see him being able to transform without the shift in emotions he got from babidi. I mean he did struggle super hard for the first form. And his character writing changed a ton from this point on. I don’t really understand vegeta fans, he’s not a good guy or wasn’t, super rewrote his character a lot but he gave up fighting “for good” 2 separate times in the manga just to come back and lose to goku again
Seriously, it's only logical that he achieved the form within the 7 year time skip. Do people really think that Vegeta, who essentially trains non-stop, wouldn't achieve the same power level/transformation Gohan did before the Cell games? AFTER 7 YEARS?! How dumb could you be?
ItsAfroBoiii wouldn’t be needed it?? Itwas to gain and extra a power boost fool ssj2 vegeta vs ssj2 goku they would’ve been equal Majin ssj2 vs goku ssj2 vegeta would’ve been stronger if not goku being able to go ssj3 Got it?
ItsAfroBoiii what makes you think he needed help to go ssj2? That was vegetas first fight since the cell arc when ssj was even needed....When vegeta watched gohan fight against dabura as a ssj2 vegeta claimed to be even stronger and would have finished the fight sooner hinting he was already as a ssj2 stronger than gohan was against cell.... babadis mind control doesn’t make you transform it just gives a power boost Even after the fight when they fought against kid buu and super buu Vegeta was a ssj2 without babadi’s control
Great video. I agree with everything said! Vegeta already knew he was stronger than Gohan and Gohan could still go SSJ2 so it’s pretty obvious with just that evidence alone.
It makes sense. Vegeta achieved super Saiyan one on his own in the Android saga. Then achieved the super vegeta form in the time chamber. Once he realized the muscles were a down fall he definitely figured it out on his own. So he was super saiyan 2 prior to Babidi.
Bro that was done straight up great points hadn't ever looked or thought about those specific key facts it makes alot of sense when those are brought up
"I'm going to tell you guys how Vegeta unlocked Super saiyan 2, because all of you have been wrong over these years making misconceptions as to when it happened... I know everything, im the best Db youtuber ever lolz for days..."
dragon ball super is garbage dude. They learn ss1 and ss2 in 2 minutes with no effort. Makes it look like a joke when you take into consideration how much time Vegeta and Goku needed to achieve those transformations. DBS is to milk the shit out of DB franchise only.
Toriyama explained why that is though. The S cells in their bodies were amplified because they have peace on their planet, or at least it's better than earth. On earth, Gohan achieved it easier than his dad because he was more kindhearted. Goten and Trunks got it easier for the same reason. You should look up that interview, it honestly all makes sense when you factor in how Gohan and Goten got to be SS
dude don't come up to me with that BS lol Akira said that to cover up for the awful writing. You need to justify you're writing. DBS is fucking awful. It makes Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2 and SS3 look like nothing and like a joke. Everyone can achieve in a matter of minutes LOL it doesn't work that way. If you're not strong enough you won0t be able to pull it off. But no, giving power ups out of nowhere is where it's at apparently lmao
Considering Ssj already got bad when Goten and Trunks got Ssj, without effort or anything, they just got it.. Tbh its not Super, Gt or even Z problem, its that the Super Saiyan forms got Marketable, so thats why all Saiyans Alive at this point, have Super Saiyan 1-2 (Btw Alexis, are you hating/ranting on Z or Super? Akira explained to both Goten, Trunks, Caulifla, Kale etc, i not a Super fanboy who would die for it, but come on man, don't explode in fire on just one show)
You know... In my country. In the past. When I was a little kid.... Some people actually belived that Vegeta never achieved Super Saiyan 2. Like never. They tought that Vegeta could only match Goku because Majin boost. And they tought Vegeta skipped two forms.
There are valid arguments for both sides. I had long believed that the "Majin" boost granted Vegeta SSJ2. What convinces me the most about this is the fact that Vegeta only sees a flash of Goku's SSJ2 & this is enough to convince him that he wasn't on Goku's level & needed the Majin power boost to catch up.
Trovão Wait, cabba going Blue that fast? that's a bit crazy don't you think? I mean he just achieved ssj and you want him to go ssb already? Damn dude.
Chris Sanchez I feel you. But maybe since champs already knew the fighters he probably had them training with vados off screen, or at least maybe Cabba saw how much stronger he had to get so asked vados just like vegeta off screen, I mean 9 months did fly by and bulma is gonna have a baby since the tournament.
super saiyan rose Yeah but Going from ss1 straight to blue is almost like an ass Pull. He would have to do a crap ton of training, Vegeta even said that if he continues training then he will achieve ssb, but he'll have to go ss2 before that. Either way They couldn't learn ssb on their own, they needed whis.
TwArDxL no. Goku is the better fighter. That’s why he can unlock all his forms before Vegeta. That’s why he says from the very beginning, even a low class Saiyan can surpass an elite with proper training. Vegeta never gets training from someone else until Whis. But Goku of course pulls his Kaioken and surpasses his again
One Piece is an amazing shounen manga. I still prefer Dragon Ball over One Piece but calling a widely recognized shounen that has even sold more manga than DBZ shit is a bit unfair. I mean it is the best selling manga world wide.
So basically you're saying Vegeta was as strong as Teen SSJ2 Gohan, who, in turn, is far weaker than SSJ2 Goku? This has to be the case if Vegeta had SSJ2, yet still needed the Majin boost to compete with Goku. Or are you underestimating the Majin boost? Vegeta's intrigue was captured due to those lackies at the tournament. He was then happy with the results of the Majin boost which means the boost was as exceptionally great as Vegeta imagined. So you can't dismiss the boost as trivial or weak. Now...Vegeta, after training even harder than Goku, still was far weaker after achieving SSJ2 during the 7 year gap or the Majin boost that allowed him to further tap into his rage enabled Vegeta to turn SSJ2 for the first time and match Goku as his equal. I choose to believe the latter because no way was Vegeta that much weaker than Goku after all that effort
There is a simple reason of why goku was far stronger : he didn't need to sleep or eat and was constantly at max level of energy . He stated it himself that when he was dead his body didn't get tired this is how he achieved SSJ3 . Comparatively Vegeta may have trained harder for 7 year but goku had in fact 14 year of training under his belt since he could train for 24 hours day rather than something like 12 hour .
Geekdom101 I also think that during that scene in which Vegeta was training with Trunks (Gravity chamber) at the beginning of the Buu arc, was transformed into SSJ2. Even though we don't get to see the electricity, we could clearly see that he was more buffed-up and with spikier hair...
I wont be surprised if vegeta is actually stronger than goku cause well he is the prince of all saiyans and goku is just the main character saiyan. Vegeta is still the prince. Technically the king.
He also transforms effortlessly in front of Goku. They almost never achieve a new form without some long drawn out strain. He looked like he had already made that transformation several times
he told because he wanted to turn into majin but i agree that he achived it so long before but there are no eveidence thats what bothers me so i hope u give us more stronger eviedence
Vegeta even stated before his fight with Puipui that he is the most powerful fighter alive. Of course that was before he saw a glimpse of Goku having SSJ2 power against Yarkon, and realized that Goku also can go SSJ2 now.
So why misdirect everyone? Why show him going SSJ2 for the first time V Goku? You keep saying that Toriyama doest plan ahead then spell out a plot that contradicts that notion for some elaborate misdirect. If he had SSJ2 already then what was the point of him turning Majin? Just to close the power gap he felt when Goku killed Yakkon? Ehhh that feels more like reason to become a majin because you know now DESPITE 7 years going by you are still not SSJ2. An I have no doubt his SSJ after 7 years could be stronger then Gohans SSJ"2" at that time. Man I love these videos but this one especially tough for me to agree with and that's pretty rare. Regardless, it was a hell of a fight.
Vegeta being underwhelmed/disappointed by Gohan’s power in the Buu saga doesn’t mean he was stronger than him. He’s simply stating that he’s not the fighter he once was. I don’t need to be a better footballer than Ronaldo to say that he’s not as good as he was in his prime.
Silly Geekdom. Wrong again as usual. I'm looking right at it (it's a scan, not the Viz, for what that's worth). Everyone here is saying oh he was fine, and he casually remarks that Goku can do it too. He actually looks kind of mad in the first panel, and is irritated when remarking about Goku having the form. I've always taken that to mean Goku "as well" as Gohan. Goku died as an FPSSJ, so Vegeta probably didn't assume he had shot up a couple of forms. Remember, he had to ask Piccolo for specifics on how bodies in the afterlife work, AFTER his fight with Goku. So he was hardly an expert there. Also, people forget- when the fight with Cell was over, Vegeta said he would never fight again. We know with his son getting older that he began training again (and training his kid to stay ahead of Goten). I even think he went ahead and locked down FPSSJ. But I don't see him spending the entire time skip aggresively training. Or stealth-transforming with NO emotional trigger. Keep in mind absolutely everyone is surprised when Vegeta transforms into SSJ2 before fighting Goku. The SSj transformations by the kids are already a stretch, but I think Piccolo at least would have sensed him going SSJ2. Couldn't the Namekians sense Cell's power up on New Namek? And SSJ2 > Cell. When Goku showed up and casually used the form even Gohan couldn't use without severe psychological triggering, he became grumpy. We can't say that he was measuring Goku's full power from the Yakon fight, because Goku didn't use his full power. How do we know? Babidi and Dabura where monitoring, and Dabura still felt confident in his ability to defeat them. When Babidi takes control of Vegeta, he says that he is releasing his hidden powers, so that he can overcome his limits. Basically, some people believe that Vegeta, being Vegeta, trained non stop to overcome all known forms. I see the evidence as this- he fell into a funk, swearing off combat. This changed down the line, but nothing to suggest it was extreme. Later, he sees Goku use the form even after death, and gets crunky and snappy. He is targeted and possessed, and his "limits" are overcome due to an unlocking of his "hidden" potential. Considering he spent 7 years depressed over the death of his rival, and falling into an uncomfortable family man routine (which he directly cites to Goku as the source of his percieved WEAKNESS) I think it is easy enough to assume the Majin spell removed his mental blocks and gave him the purity of purpose and raw anger to trigger the change into a SSJ2.
Haven't watched the sub or read the manga in ages so I can't cite anything BUT it's rational to say he at least knew how to achieve SSJ2. It's something learned as much as it is attained through raw power so I think you've made a pretty sound argument.
Dude, you said there was "evidence" that Vegeta could go SSJ2 before going Majin, and you presented nothing... You just said that he was confident he was better than SSJ2 Gohan, and that's really nothing but Vegeta being confident which is par for course for him. There's a lot less logic in him seeing SSJ2 Goku and thinking "oh damn he can do it too, he might be stronger than me!?" and more logic in him seeing Goku going SSJ2 and thinking "oh shit I want to get that too!".
I think one of the reason Goku achieved super Saiyan 3 was because he had a dead body which lets him push himself without straining his body
AnimeNationHD Yeah. In the Fight with Kid Buu, he said he had no problems with energy consumption in the Other World.

Facts

This is how I feel SS2 go most powerful to least:
1. Majin Vegeta
2. Goku SS2 (just a little weaker)
3. Vegeta SS2 before Babadi
4. Gohan SS2 when he fought Cell
Goku went Super Saiyan 2 against Yakon. It is stated numerous times by Vegeta himself and the manga drew him as such. Pretty please don't fight with me on this - thanks!
Exactly, there is no argument to be made against it. Its pretty clear.
(And Knowing Vegeta's ego, he definitely would have voiced it)
Dark Justice no he didn't he said goku had power to spare that doesn't mean goku was ssj2
what's up with not seeing vegeta's tail anymore
Tre Roulhac If you watch back the fight (between yakon and goku) on youtube and put the video speed to 0.25 you can see the the blue electricity just before the light surge that blows up yakon.
Why is it argued when he got the form? I seemed to have been made clear that he got the form during the 7 year gap.
JohnieLee55 bruh i clicked on this vid just to read the comments on how He supposedly got ssj2 from being under babadi's control, shits hilarious, the fact this is even a vid is funny
I always thought he got it from babidi
JohnieLee55 in my circle of friends, I am the only one who knows this. They all argue babidi gave Vegeta ss2
Tit0Matic I always assumed he got it in the 7 years. I think your friends don't know that ssj is a power multiplier and not, itself, a power level. Try explaining that two ssj2s aren't necessarily evenly matched since it's a x100 multiplier.
Let's say his base power level was 100 and Goku's was 110, yeah Goku is a bit stronger but that's not likely an unbeatable matchup.
at ssj2, Vegeta would have a 10,000 power level and Goku would have a 11,000 power level, the gap just widened from +10 to +1,000
Using these numbers, Babidi only would have had to increase Vegeta's base power level by 10 to even them up, that seems much more reasonable than unlocking a whole new transformation for him.
“You have Stolen my honor..... and your debt must be paid” - ss2 Majin Vegita
Guzman031 Troll or has no idea what they're talking about.
In the manga Vegeta said: "So Kakarotnis also capable of surpassing a SSJ." That could be the only hint of Vegeta being capable of becoming an ssj2 without help. He also wasn't impressed by Gohans power whom become ssj2 against Spopobich in the tournament
Or he could just be comparing Goku to Gohan without his power even being part of the thought.
@@UenoLocker54 vegetas too arrogant for that
@@UenoLocker54This may be strictly an anime thing, but I almost certainly remember vegeta at one point stating that gohan was the weaker of the 3 when they were facing off with Babidi’s henchmen
Vegeta never showed the ability to go SSJ2 until the fight with kid buu.
And on top of that, Majin Vegeta and SSJ2 Vegeta are Stated to have similar powers in the daizenshuu. They even share the exact same appearance.
Babidi’s power boost allowed Vegeta to obtain the form

I watched it.

I agree
Vegeta was able to turn SSJ2 but when he saw Goku do the same thing he knew that he still couldn't close the power gap and that is when he made up his mind.
makaveli559m Also Goku had SSJ3 even if he didnt show it. So his base and SSJ1 would be much stronger than usual.
Its weird that vegetas ssj2 isnt as strong as ssj2 goku w out babadi. There must be tiers to super saiyan
@@BabyMikeVenom I'm pretty sure it's just that Gokus base form was higher than Vegetas base form, therefore his SSJ2 form would logically be stronger. So Vegeta needed the majin boost to close the gap.
@150hello but he only noticed when goku powered up passed ssj fighting that dark cave guy
I think it was when he was training In the 7 year time skip, let's see if I'm right!
I was right!
AnimeNationHD well there is no other time he coulda got it
I thought he only wanted babidis magic so he can become careless of his family and loved ones, because he thought that those things were holding him back from becoming stronger than goku... I might be wrong but that's what I remember from watching that shit as a teen. I specifically remember him becoming more wreck less like when he killed that crowd of people at the tournament
yella yella it make him stronger automatically along with everything you said and so he can close the gap between him and goku
yella yella he did say that. But he also said that he saw how gokus power was above his when he fought yakon. So he decided to go Majin.
he needed big powr boost 2
he wuz much weeker then kakarot
in hindsight you could argue that babidi somehow "fed" his minions evil energy or opened up the place for the evil energy within them to extend and reinforce, by removing the good.
wut
In addition, piccolo also admitted that when Vegeta was chasing after Android 20 piccolo said to everyone "As much as I hate to admit it, Vegeta is a genius in combat." Or something similar to that. Either way piccolo said that Vegeta is very, very good at fighting
Just to provide another piece of evidence:
Based on his conversation with Goku before their fight, I think the dialogue indirectly proves that Vegeta became a Super Saiyan 2 BEFORE he became Majin (without the help of Babidi's boost)
Vegeta: Well, at least you're stronger than your son when he fought Cell transforms to SSJ2
Goku: Wow, Vegeta, this might take longer than I thought.
Jacen Mun Excellent post
+J M I can't see any correlation there, I don't understand how one follows the other.
+UA-camr Whether he had the form or not he definitely wasn't nearly as strong as Goku.
I think the point of “Babidi’s spell not known to cause transformation” is misplaced. The reality is that the spell does cause a mental effect that allows vegeta to access the rage he was seeking to take him to the next level.
I was unaware Goku transformed into Ssj 2 during his fight with Babidi's monster.
www.mangareader.net/dragon-ball/452/10
Slamscape that doesn't show any clear indication he did. Either way he did it.
*****
Yes. It does.
Bulma is referring to ssj2 as if it was something usual, and not out of the ordinary. You think for a second she would have done so if it was something vegeta was not yet able to do?
Slamscape wth are you talking about? I wasn't referring to Vegeta. Why bring up Bulma. I was clearly talking about Goku.
*****
Two different chats.
And no. Vegeta would have have said ssj2, unless it was confirmed goku had ssj2
Hmm, thats funny. Feeling pride in someone else.
Trunks was like eight though wasn’t he?
R34 Skyline - Unfortunately it’s overshadowed by all this unyielding rage
How beautiful to see all these Abridged references
Trunks is not a legendary SSJ thats not even the name
I think Vegeta wasn't in awe of Gohan going Super Saiyan 2 simply because Gohan isn't as strong as he once was.
De'Nico Hawkins He wouldn't of said it if he couldn't manage it at the level of power that Dabura was showing. Just like he was confident that he could defeat Freeza's first form because he didn't know that he had transformations. Vegeta is arrogant, but he's not stupid.
If Gohan was still stronger than Vegeta, he probably would have said "After 7 years of training, I still can't surpass that accursed son of Kakarot"!
Vegeta also thought he could defeat Final Form Freeza after his final zenkai. And yet we saw how that ended, right?
Renato T. Because Freeza was holding back. If you were in Vegeta's shoes you would think the same thing
Why would Vegeta aim for less than teen Gohan's power lol
*After Vegeta witnesses insane power he aims to surpass it.
SS is a multiplier transformation not a power level aka not something you can train to
The fact that people actually think that Vegeta needed a little wrinkle dick mage to unlock ssj2 is stupid as hell. If gohan was able to unlock it it was only a matter of time until vegeta did Majin just gave Vegeta the slight boost he needed to keep up with a ssj3 unlocked ssj2 goku.
LoneDrifter Gohan was able able to unlock SSJ2 because he has a lot of potential. But it's wasted. He HAD a lot of potential.
Ignacio Flores yup imagine how strong an ultimate gohan could have been had gohan keep training with vegeta, He also could go into the time chamber again so there's also that.
Gohan had to be pushed by cell
jalent while yes he did vegeta if he cries enough the universe will pity him and let him trancend thats how he got ssj1
Potential doesn't go away, so he still has that potential. He'sj ust wasting it.
I agree. Also, when Gohan told Bulma he was going to enter the world tournament with Videl, Vegeta was all in. He knew how powerful SS2 Gohan was back then and even told him he's been doing nothing but training. Why would he even bother if he knew if he couldn't at least match that power?
Vegeta has always bothered hahaha, even though the guy could sense power levels he thought he was a match for every enemy he encountered on Namek.
I’ve always said this and I love both characters no bias
Yes finally others who see this point
It's funny that Vegeta obtained all these forms exept for 2 of them. SSJ3 and SSJG. SSJG I can understand but SSJ3 will always remain a mystery.
burgerkingJ Well Vegeta wasn't taught to go ss3 like gotenks, and it is unknown how Goku achieved it.
Nah I think that part with Goku showing Goten and Trunks the SSJ3 was filler. The transformation itself is a mystery on how to acheive it though.
burgerkingJ True, True, all we know is that it was achieved twice outside of the universe. (other world and The room of spirit and time)
***** The Hyperbolic Time chamber, what I said is the original term (Subs).
burgerkingJ I believe it's because he's seen the disadvantages with Ssj3 when goku fought kid buu. It massively drains your energy and reduces usage time. So I think that he chose to look over it and surpass goku with his ssj2 form
Wait ppl really thought he could only turn SSJ2 from being Majin Vegeta? Wow that,s not knowing Vegeta very well XD
Wtf really? I thought it was well known lmao
Killua Zoldyck
A lot of people, myself included, believe Vegeta obtained SSJ2 post Majin because we never saw Vegeta go SSJ2 before Majin. And on top of that, the daizenshuu states that SSJ2 Vegeta and Majin Vegeta have similar power
Killua Zoldyck Probably your low IQ
No one knows the actual truth. Only the creator.
So either theory is correct till shown by the creator. Myself and many others go with the Mark being his tipping point to ss2.
Not to say he didn't have the potential for ss2 at that time but the Mark was the last piece in the puzzle to open the door.
Josh Shin The creator doesn't know either lmao he forgot ss2 even existed. He thought ss3 was ss2.
Another way to prove that is.. vegeta turned SSJ2 very quick and easily before he engaged in battle with goku. He didn’t struggle. Which shows he already knew how to turn SSJ2. You don’t just know how to transform off bat from a boost of power.
So called "fans" who think he unlocked ssj2 because of babidi are usually vegeta haters and lowballers
Even when I first read the manga I knew that Vegeta was SSJ 2 before bobidi
Yeah anyone who thinks Vegeta would accept not pushing himself to the limit does not know Vegeta.
Yea Vegeta works his ass off achieving ssj1 same thing he did with ssj2.
Fr
Yuppp
My man, you understand it well. Thankyou for your intelligence, it's a breath of fresh air after reading some of these comments
This video was needed. Too many people sleeping on Vegeta in the Buu arc
But didn't goku give vegeta credit when he turned ssj2 and said he must was doing intense training so vegeta already had ssj2 he just wanted babadi to put the evil hatred back in his heart he couldn't fight goku in his new life state family man
Ssj2 goku was stronger than ssj2 vegeta so vegeta needed the majin yo be equal to him
7:45 That last look you give your friend before taking your girl in the bedroom
Reading some comments here makes me really doubt some people's intelligence. Have you read the Manga? Everything Vegeta says in it just proves this video's points. Learn to read between the lines. Isn't that something you learn normally in school?
SpartanM1988 vegeta overestimates himself a lot wouldn’t be surprising if her did it here
@@Alex-qd2yp he clearly wouldn’t overestimate himself to above a SSJ2 if he didn’t have the form. Common sense
Vegeta trained for those 7 years while Gohan didn't. Gohan may have the most potential but Vegeta's rage is second to his^
Geekdom, is it bad that I still get pissed that vegeta was never given ssj3?
stonematt yes.
stonematt it's a lost dream dude
Ssj3 is a joke compared to ssg or blue.
stonematt
Vegeta WAS given SSJ3. Just in video games and other media lol
super saiyan rose its ssj3 not ss3
That's where drama came from.
pre-majin vegeta shows a bunch of times how he thinks hes superior to gohan
No he didn't get if by becoming a Majin. It makes no fucking sense for a power up from a guy who doesn't even know what super saiyan is to give someone the ability to access ss2.
but elder kai didnt gave gohan a new form did he?
RobtGaming No but he gave him a new upwards limits and more range in terms of power
RobtGaming if he didn't give him a new for why does it have its own name? Why wouldn't it just be Gohan instead of Mystic or Ultimate or whatever the official title is?
Its his base form but powered up. NOT a transformation

It makes me sad to think that people actually think Vegeta only reached ssj2 because of Babidi
Ikr. 😢
wateract bengga Goku only achieved ssj because of frieza remember that
wateract bengga ••• so when did he hit ss2 before or after babidi ?
thegigadykid1 ••• when does vegeta go ss2 no when does he fight somone as a ss2 ... not majin vegeta but ss2 vegeta
I'm glad this video was made!! I tell people this all the time that Vegeta knew how to turn SS2 Before Majin!!
I watched this while pooping and I completely agree with all of it.
David Milleramo same
David Milleramo I am legit watching this on the toilet and my name is David lmfao

Geeokdom 101 I have a question? Why do all the good guys mostly have blue energy beams? Like Goku, Ryu, Yusuke, Mega Man..etc cetra
Ultimate N I know and red symbolizes war in most eastern cultures but it could be something more.?
Joshua Bentley and most jedi have blue lightsabers.
Setheran I'm
Gonna make a video about it 😳
becouse bad gyes have evil ki. good gyes have good ki. 2 colors symbolize Good and Evil
Syed Sazzad Ahmed Maijin Vegetable had blue energy
Vegeta already achieved SSJ2 but Babidi's power allowed Vegeta to be a high level SSJ2. That boost was needed because Goku had SSJ3.
Best comment
I used to hate you, now I love you. Been following you for about a year now. keep up the good work
As Prince Vegeta I thank you for this video and I fully agree with you💯and because of this I won't kill you💀
Seriously, it's only logical that he achieved the form within the 7 year time skip. Do people really think that Vegeta, who essentially trains non-stop, wouldn't achieve the same power level/transformation Gohan did before the Cell games? AFTER 7 YEARS?! How dumb could you be?
Anthony Cascio true vegeta is workhorse and he is natural full blooded,he spends lot of times by training
If that was true then majin wouldn’t be needed
ItsAfroBoiii wouldn’t be needed it?? Itwas to gain and extra a power boost fool
ssj2 vegeta vs ssj2 goku they would’ve been equal
Majin ssj2 vs goku ssj2 vegeta would’ve been stronger if not goku being able to go ssj3
Got it?
Hanson the fight was equal to until the very end , goku got distracted , what I’m saying he is, Vegeta needed help to go so super saiyan 2
ItsAfroBoiii what makes you think he needed help to go ssj2?
That was vegetas first fight since the cell arc when ssj was even needed....When vegeta watched gohan fight against dabura as a ssj2 vegeta claimed to be even stronger and would have finished the fight sooner hinting he was already as a ssj2 stronger than gohan was against cell....
babadis mind control doesn’t make you transform it just gives a power boost
Even after the fight when they fought against kid buu and super buu Vegeta was a ssj2 without babadi’s control
Great video. I agree with everything said! Vegeta already knew he was stronger than Gohan and Gohan could still go SSJ2 so it’s pretty obvious with just that evidence alone.
Whoever started that bs with vegeta only achieving ssj2 through his majin transformation should be punched in the face and kicked off the moutain
Shinji D I don’t know if I’d go that far lol but I definitely agree that it’s stupid some people think he only awakened it because of Babidi.
Triggered much? Calm your tits
so true
Calm down, bro....
You can try
It makes sense. Vegeta achieved super Saiyan one on his own in the Android saga. Then achieved the super vegeta form in the time chamber. Once he realized the muscles were a down fall he definitely figured it out on his own. So he was super saiyan 2 prior to Babidi.
Bro that was done straight up great points hadn't ever looked or thought about those specific key facts it makes alot of sense when those are brought up
"I'm going to tell you guys how Vegeta unlocked Super saiyan 2, because all of you have been wrong over these years making misconceptions as to when it happened... I know everything, im the best Db youtuber ever lolz for days..."
caulifa achieved in like 2 minutes >> makes ssj2 look like nothing. my favorite transformation
dragon ball super is garbage dude.
You should look up that interview, it honestly all makes sense when you factor in how Gohan and Goten got to be SS
dude don't come up to me with that BS lol
Akira said that to cover up for the awful writing.
But no, giving power ups out of nowhere is where it's at apparently lmao
well part of it is, that they would already be at that level, they just didnt know how to do it
Considering Ssj already got bad when Goten and Trunks got Ssj, without effort or anything, they just got it..
Tbh its not Super, Gt or even Z problem, its that the Super Saiyan forms got Marketable, so thats why all Saiyans Alive at this point, have Super Saiyan 1-2 (Btw Alexis, are you hating/ranting on Z or Super? Akira explained to both Goten, Trunks, Caulifla, Kale etc, i not a Super fanboy who would die for it, but come on man, don't explode in fire on just one show)
Says Babidi's power doesn't make you transform. Then Spopavich comes back to the tournament literally transformed into something new lolol
Vegeta was ssj2 after resurrection Majin for just boost his ss2
That's where the story gets iffy. Because when he comes back as himself again, is he really still just as strong?
I hope cabba turns super saiyan 2
Hector Vasquez I hope he goes Blue so he has a chance of winning
Trovão Wait, cabba going Blue that fast? that's a bit crazy don't you think? I mean he just achieved ssj and you want him to go ssb already? Damn dude.
Chris Sanchez I feel you. But maybe since champs already knew the fighters he probably had them training with vados off screen, or at least maybe Cabba saw how much stronger he had to get so asked vados just like vegeta off screen, I mean 9 months did fly by and bulma is gonna have a baby since the tournament.
super saiyan rose I want to see his build up first, going blue would ruin the character development he has when he first turned ssj
super saiyan rose Yeah but Going from ss1 straight to blue is almost like an ass Pull. He would have to do a crap ton of training, Vegeta even said that if he continues training then he will achieve ssb, but he'll have to go ss2 before that. Either way They couldn't learn ssb on their own, they needed whis.
IF Goku and Vegeta are At the same Level Vegeta Is The Better Fighter
TwArDxL Doubtful
@@marselllaski6626 Nah, Vegeta is definitely a better fighter, Goku just trains better
WaveKingJo what.... how -_-

Sponge Bond was*
Last year one piece got beat
DeistMaybe What makes you say Vegeta trained harder than Goku?
Jo-Smooth Goku stated it himself
J Sarria Theyre the transformations called Super and Ultra those werent SS2
Vegeta disregarded the super and ultra transformations after the cell games were finished.
I wont be surprised if vegeta is actually stronger than goku cause well he is the prince of all saiyans and goku is just the main character saiyan. Vegeta is still the prince. Technically the king.
Yeah no Vegeta is always close but not quite as strong
Vegeta was a stronger ssj2 but Goku was ultimately stronger than him as he had hidden away his ssj3
Aazan Ahmed Nope Goku's SS2 was still stronger then his thats why he let himself in Babidi's magic
SSJ3 Goku >>> SSJ2 Goku = SSJ2 Majin Vegeta > SSJ2 Vegeta
He also transforms effortlessly in front of Goku. They almost never achieve a new form without some long drawn out strain. He looked like he had already made that transformation several times
he told because he wanted to turn into majin but i agree that he achived it so long before but there are no eveidence thats what bothers me so i hope u give us more stronger eviedence
I think that vageta know how to transform into ssj2 and I also say to my cusion's but they never belive me 😒
Vegeta even stated before his fight with Puipui that he is the most powerful fighter alive. Of course that was before he saw a glimpse of Goku having SSJ2 power against Yarkon, and realized that Goku also can go SSJ2 now.
SSJ 50 times multiplier
SSJ2 is a 100 times multplier
SSJ3 is a 400 times multiplier
Vegeta would be more stronger as SSJ3
Ssj is 50× base but ssj1 had multiple grades like grade 2 and grade 3 and then grade 4 (mastered ssj)
Bullshit. The majin form was purely to boost vegeta's base to goku's. Goku even states that vegeta trained even harder than he did in other world.
Thats why you get no females 😂 vegeta achieved ssj2 without majin boost end of discussion
Geekdom i dont see you down the road ....... :(
Lil Boom fuck steph curry‼️
Sener bro.. he looked at gohan ssj2 like a joke so wtf does that tell you?
What do you mean vegeta clearly surpassed goku? He never surpassed goku in those 7 years
Raymond Delgado of course he did
The Realist Goku unlocked super saiyan 3. I like vegeta but if goku went ssj3 then he would have broken him like a kit Kat bar
The Realist Vegeta needed Majin to be equal to SSJ2 Goku...... how did he surpass Goku in the 7 years? SSJ2 Goku = SSJ2 Majin Vegeta >> SSJ2 Vegeta
Jo-Smooth not true. Vegeta's Super Saiyan 2 in Majin is slightly superior.
I don't know about those 7 years but I do know he was stronger than Goku when they first fought. That's the only fact I know.
you may have taken my milkshake and my burger but there is one thing a saiyan keeps...HIS FRIES
lol, are they trying to copy TFS with that cell voice intro?
Damn a whole year and nobody answered you, rip
