Living on a Prayer - Part Two

- God uses all things for His glory-even as He used Absalom’s insurrection against His anointed king, David. In this sermon from 2 Samuel 16, Alistair Begg explains how Hushai the Archite, David’s loyal friend and spy, and Ahithophel, a traitor to the king, both acted under God’s sovereign hand. A thousand years later, Jesus would face a similar betrayal, and in His death, God’s ultimate plan-our redemption-would be fulfilled.
Scripture: 2 Samuel 16:13-23
Preached: October 10, 2021

CHRIST IS KING 🙌 A-MEN' 😘
I love this man's ministry. I am adding him to my prayers. He comes off so loving and sincere. There is no pomp or pride in him. His doctrine is rock solid and his style is how I imagine the lord talks to us.
Thank you Pastor Begg.
The Lord God Bless you and protect you from all evil.
Amen and Amen! I have read this Scripture a number of times in 2 Samuel 10-12 ,but Nathan's statement of David's despising of the Lord sends such dread thru me. Knowing, whatever sin I commit ,sew I will reap, extra measure, and possibly for all to see.
That's a good point
I love his point that once King David would have sought counseling of God. Amazing sermon.
