Да,корни давали,а росток нет..например шефлера,фикус каучуковый и ДР.

А я вообще не поняла. Землей то прикапывать надо? Поливать надо? Потому что я присылала и поливаю и в этом месте плесень появилась . ..

I absolutely love the Triostar Stromanthe. I have six now. I've been propagating through division. Glad I clicked on this video never thought to see if this plant could be leaf propagated I'm definitely going to give it a shot.

Ok I'm going to try out this method of propagating triostar just tomorrow as triostar is one of my most favourite plant and have quite a lot of them so let's see if it really works out or not. Thanks for the video
Good luck! Please keep us posted a month from now. So after a month the banana totally breaks down and there isn't any residual? Are you going to do this experiment outside like shown in video or inside now that it's winter?
@@serenitygardenaviary All my plants r kept on my terrace as I have quite a large garden and indoor plants r also there but they r under a shade and during summer the sides r covered with green net that direct sunlight may not burn my indoor plants. So where do u advise me to keep the propagation leaves under the shade or out though I have some green nets out too as there r plants which don't some direct sunlight like about a couple of hours or 3 so they need the net. Will wait for your reply then I'll try it, and thanks again

I didn't create the video, but was fascinated and thought it would be good to try but unfortunately I live in an apartment on 15th floor with no balcony. Please try it out and keep me posted. Sounds like your terrace would be perfect. From the video, the pot looked like it was outside and received rain water as indicated by the weeds in the pot. Happy experimenting. I have two TrioStar Stromanthes but we've only been together six months.
@@serenitygardenaviary I try of course but all of a sudden it came to me that this is winter and all calatheas become dormant this season it's hard to keep them alive as they need humidity whereas this is a dry season I try to keep them alive by misting the plants tho the entry of summer the leaves pop out as there's a tuber beneath the plant but have to keep watering otherwise the whole plant will perish. Whatever maybe I'll will try by creating humidity with plastic covers or boxes which I use as mini green house so I'll keep u updated.
@@anniedey5781 yes, it is winter here too. I live in Washington DC. That is why I mentioned winter in first reply. I would try it inside my spa garden with 200 tropical plants because it is always 77° and 55% Humidity in there. (Except when I have a massage appt, Humidity goes up to 75-80% with the hot stones therapy.) I am afraid to have banana slices in a pot for 30 days inside my garden. Waiting until Spring may give you the perfect environment for a successful leaf propagation. I am so excited to see whether it works for you. 👨🏾🌾🍃

Does this only work on Stromanthe and similar plants? Or have you had success with other plants, like orchids?
