Nice to hear Lance Ballance's name at 4:27! I worked with him in Stockton before Jhani hired him for weekends at KOST in '89. Still friends to this day. He's aged a bit though. He now looks about 25.
I've never heard a tighter and cleaner chord from JAM than at 2:47. It sounds 100 times better if you slow the video's play speed to 0.5. Most times if you hear a singer at half speed, you can hear the intense wobble of the singer's vibrato. But there is absolutely none here! JAM forever!
I couldn't agree more, Jordan. I absolutely love those Major9 chords, and nobody does them better than the Jam vocal group...known as "The Big 7." Judy Parma, Kay Sharpe, Abby Holmes, Chris Kershaw, Bruce Upchurch, Dan Alexander, and Jim Clancy.
Ok...I can see Kay Sharp next to Judy Parma. Also, I believe the shorter of the men is Brian Beck; though I may be wrong. Despite the negative comments by that guy, Matt...this is wonderful work...just AWESOME! Thanks for posting.
If hell existed I would imagine it being like this but they're reading out the names of people getting in to heaven and I would be trapped there unable to speak for all eternity. Apart from that fascinating video, love radio but you rarely get to see behind the scenes so cheers.
that would so cool if they did that name thing for everyone in my high school year book and included a cd of it with each copy to us students lolololol
They don't turn away any viable customer, but no doubt will cost probably should have contacted them back in the fall to have it done by graduation. and yes great idea
russell jones jam still got it if ya ask me! May be different vocals, some of the same singers, but JW don’t play games when it comes to vocals. Finest talents in the biz!
jinglesbluecat greg, who now leads TM. Loved his pops, Jim was a riot! If i had to pick anybody that are riots, down to earth, and funny guys to hang around with, Jim, Judy, Kay sharpe, Trella Hart, they were the ones to expect a laugh or 2 out of. You can tell in some of the bloopers and outtakes.
It is recorded from October 1989, we see those singers at JAM Creative Productions singing the KOST 103 Jingle, this is great jingle in the world!
Jingle perfection - the GREAT JAM singers - and some of the best soft tracks ever recorded - and done for so many years!
Nice to see JAM at work!
seeing the behind the scenes action of how it comes to life! what other jingle company does that for its fans!
they are on point!
yea these guys -- the best Radio jingles you have heard all your life. These are 'Bar Chords' in the music biz.

If Cherry Chevapravatdumrong was a radio host, they'd faint!

So ... you liked it?

The grumpy bass singer is funny. He only has to sing the last syllable of the jingle!
This is a great video!
"matt lauer and caty kuuuuuric"
sounds like "The Carpenters" recording sessions lol
Yes just what I thought. I think of a carpenters song and get all upset, poor Karen. R.i.P
Aside from Jim Clancy (bass singer), does anyone know the names of the other 6 vocalists singing at this session? They are wonderful! Thank you.

Mike Sack of Wheaties. 🤣😂🤣
I can't see all the singers but Jim's son, Greg is there plus the late great Judy Parma & Chris Kershaw.

All done on 24-track analog tape machines too -- if you made a mistake, you had to start from the beginning
Jean Wilder on will and grace
I don't know the young female singer at 3:41 who is on the right of Judy Parma and behind Abby Holmes.
It's Okay Sharpe
I meant Kaye Sharpe. Autocorrect pops up at the wrong time, occasionally.
“Let’s go Brandon”
