I got a C6 S6 V10 earlier this year. It’s my first car and part of my dream car collection! Love it so much! I used to drive it to school and everyone would hear the low rumble of the engine as i pass by. They’d stare in confusion because they had no idea why an old Audi would sound like that. I loved when people asked me what engine it has, some people who knew a thing or two about cars would come up to me and ask “V8?” There’s something amazing about watching their jaws drop when they learn its a V10. I love how subtle and unsuspecting it is. Perfect sleeper. Never gonna give it up.

Nice car. I am surprised the 0-100 time 6:12 is 6 seconds. I thought it would be at least 1 second faster. Your particular car appears very well maintained. I'm unsure if it will ever become a collector's car but certainly an enthusiast car. The problem with the S8 being a collector's car is that the car was originally marketed toward executives who likely replace their cars every 1 or 2 years and possibly only lease the S8 before moving on to another new vehicle. A big part of the appeal for this customer base is driving the newest and best equipped vehicle. Technology changes quickly and maintenance requirements on a technically advanced vehicle begin accumulating quickly. Original drivers do not want to deal with either of those issues. From their perspective, it's better to buy the next newest car. I believe Audi also knows this and as a result, the cars depreciate fast. Today, a 13 year old (2010) S8 can be purchased for $12K to $16K. I'm not surprised. Maintenance costs are extremely high and the newness which was the original appeal for original owners, has worn off. Maybe I'm wrong and the S8 will be a collector car. If it becomes one, I believe it will happen because of the uniqueness of the V10. Your car looks well maintained and would likely be highly sought after in that case. However, if it does not become a collector car, it's definitely an enthusiast car. Thanks for sharing the car with us. I always liked the S8.

I ordered Silver with Black Leather and Carbon Fiber. Timeless. I get people asking still if its a new model. Lots of Thumbs UPs from young people seeing the V10 on side. Luc Besson loves the D3 for his movies. This car is unique because it was made to bring buyers back to Audi. I don't think Lamborghini was happy seeing the Gallardo engine in this car. Engine now available only in an R8. Carbon buildup is only issue with the direct fuel induction. Highly recommend a BGI Fuel induction service annually with oil change to abate the issue. It works...
I bought my 2010 S8 also becase its a sexy beast. Last pure S with an astonishing engine. Enjoy every moment i can to push the throttle down to hear it roar. Congrats, it was an excelent joice.

Another car like this is the RS4 B8, the last NA ever built, mixing the now classic 4.2NA with modern interior and looks. I’m also very happy owning this perfect car, now that they are still available in good conditions. You made a great choice with the S8, the facelift is probably one of the best looking audi cars ever produced, and as you mentioned the build quality is unrivalled.

I have exactly the same Audi S8 V10 from 2008 in phase 2, mine is black metal, I have an original MTM preparation, so it does 535hp instead of 450hp. It's a monster, I've had it for 2 years and I never tire of it. on the other hand very expensive to maintain because Audi is expensive and consumption enormous but otherwise a happiness, it is my car pleasure of the weekend luckily lol
I recently sold my 2008 Audi S5 and I’m already regretting it. It was quantum gray with the prestige package and a manual transmission, I know it’s not the fastest car or the best handling but I just had fun in it, I took it camping and on the beach and it did surprisingly well. It has 58K miles and I only but 8 out of the 50. I just had personal stuff come up and needed the money.
Great video, i own a rsq3 2014 with stage 1 tuning. I love to drive every day with a big big smile. Sound and speed its great. And there are no many of them in the Netherlands.Feul is ok 1lit on 14km on highway.But i get 1lit on 9km.
My love for Audi started in 2015 when I started practice driving for my drivers license. The driving school had a 2013 Audi A3 and I just instantly fell in love with the SUPER linear charateristics of Audi, you know *exactly* what the car will do for every little input you give it. So my first Audi was an old A4 B5 (-98) 1.8T, man I loved that car soooo much, even though it was almost 20 years old when I bought it, the interior felt great and it looked really good too. After 4 years of owning it, it was time to change so I started looking at newer A4s and completely fell in love with the B7 A4s, and then in July, I got a great deal on a 2006 A4 with the 2.0TS engine, 220hp, in quattro with full s-line package in and out, its amazing and will keep this car for years as its value will increase since its already becoming a cult car, I feel like the B7 is the perfect mix between analog and digital, its a real drivers car

I purchased a 2007 S8 3 through years ago with 155,000 miles, I thought it was rather amazing when I test drove it and it was very inexpensive for $105,000 sticker price car. It takes a lot of patience and is good to have mechanic knowledge and a willingness to experiment when necessary, but this is by far one of the nicest cars I’ve ever owned, I am 62 and also currently own an e39 M5 & Grand National. It drives amazing, great cockpit very comfortable very fast, truly wonderful car and the V 10 with resonator delete X-pipe from Fabspeed is amazing !!🎉 find one if you can..:)👍
Nice wheels for sure. I got a 2004 D3 that is in almost immaculate shape. Few cosmetic things in the inside but they are very minor. Car runs like a dream.
It seems you are a man of taste! I know this because I have one ha ha 😄 Yours looks extremely well cared for. It seems to sit a little lower than mine does, even when in dynamic suspension setting. I have had mine for four years now and it still makes me smile every day. My car secretly joined Alcoholics Anonymous however,because of its drink problem. 😄 But the petrol consumption is worth it just because of the way it drives and the beautiful noise it makes and how it makes me feel. I see you have the upgrade Bang and Olufsen sound system like myself, which is an awesome piece of kit. I hear things in songs that I have known for years, that I never heard before. I also like how I can cruise around town and it is virtually silent until I stab the loud pedal. I think of it as a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde car. It can be extremely fast and loud Or near silent and not attract much attention at all. It only takes the attention of people who really know what it is mostly, which I like. My car is 2010 black on black although I would have preferred gunmetal grey, but I didn’t want to wait any longer to get one. Btw, You can see one of these cars being driven by Liam Neeson in ‘Taken’ on the banks of the river Seine in Paris. Thanks for sharing this with us and I wish you many happy years with it.

Fantastic car, with A8/ S8 D3 it was really obvious, that Audi wanted to build serious competitor to BMW 7 and MB S class. I have "only" 4.0TDI, but very happy with it. Unfortunately to keep these cars alive, it require certain level of dedication, as they are now turning into they teens age.

Still take care of my 2007 S8 with 40,000 miles. my Father got it in 2014 from Porsche and only had 20,000 miles from the original owner from 2006. He gave it to me in 2019 and I've looked after it ever since; I plan to keep it forever.
Love your videos, and totally agree with your philosophy as we come to the end of a very unique error (what I like to refer to as the Piech error)... brought a beautiful '94 URS6 with an original stage1+ MTM tune early this year (thanks to you).., have my eye now on a '98 URS8 (if there's such a thing yet) - both cars Black/Black ; ))

I have driven Audi cars all my life, and stopped changing them after this one. New models are terrible in my opinion, without soul like you say for yours, bad materials, full of problems, I hate touch screens, i even don't like the smell in new models :) we bought new A4 for my wife and she want's me to sell it and bring her the old one back :)) keep up the good work, channel is extra good.

Man congrats! what a machine. I love the interior. The condition of the car is mint. I just let it got my 2007 Audi RS4, which is also rare these days. But your S8 just blew my mind. I thought i'm done with old Audis but now i know what i what next. Lakely i am a car dealer in the USA and have access to all auto auctions in the USA and can find one for myself. I have one S8 v10 5.2 black in clour wonderful cars
I purchased a 2007 S8 3 through years ago with 155,000 miles, I thought it was rather amazing when I test drove it and it was very inexpensive for $105,000 sticker price car. It takes a lot of patience and is good to have mechanic knowledge and a willingness to experiment when necessary, but this is by far one of the nicest cars I’ve ever owned, I am 62 and also currently own an e39 M5 & Grand National. It drives amazing, great cockpit very comfortable very fast, truly wonderful car and the V 10 with resonator delete X-pipe from Fabspeed is amazing !!🎉 find one if you can..:)👍

Nice wheels for sure. I got a 2004 D3 that is in almost immaculate shape. Few cosmetic things in the inside but they are very minor. Car runs like a dream.

My car secretly joined Alcoholics Anonymous however,because of its drink problem. 😄
But the petrol consumption is worth it just because of the way it drives and the beautiful noise it makes and how it makes me feel. I see you have the upgrade Bang and Olufsen sound system like myself, which is an awesome piece of kit. I hear things in songs that I have known for years, that I never heard before.
I also like how I can cruise around town and it is virtually silent until I stab the loud pedal. I think of it as a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde car. It can be extremely fast and loud Or near silent and not attract much attention at all. It only takes the attention of people who really know what it is mostly, which I like.
My car is 2010 black on black although I would have preferred gunmetal grey, but I didn’t want to wait any longer to get one.
Btw, You can see one of these cars being driven by Liam Neeson in ‘Taken’ on the banks of the river Seine in Paris.

Fantastic car, with A8/ S8 D3 it was really obvious, that Audi wanted to build serious competitor to BMW 7 and MB S class. I have "only" 4.0TDI, but very happy with it. Unfortunately to keep these cars alive, it require certain level of dedication, as they are now turning into they teens age.

Still take care of my 2007 S8 with 40,000 miles. my Father got it in 2014 from Porsche and only had 20,000 miles from the original owner from 2006. He gave it to me in 2019 and I've looked after it ever since; I plan to keep it forever.
Love your videos, and totally agree with your philosophy as we come to the end of a very unique error (what I like to refer to as the Piech error)... brought a beautiful '94 URS6 with an original stage1+ MTM tune early this year (thanks to you).., have my eye now on a '98 URS8 (if there's such a thing yet) - both cars Black/Black ; ))

Love it, this is the first time I've ever seen one, and what a clean example it is I have an Audi but mine is diesel it is a 2018 A6 Avant 3.0 quattro finished in moonlight blue which in my opinion is the best Audi colour I will own an Audi RS6 Avant one day life goals! This car is just amazing. And I find it pretty cheap nowadays (in Europe at least). I am planning on buying my first 'real' car, and I think this will be the one. Love the combination of luxury and sportiveness. And the V10 !!! It sounds amazing !!
Yeah, it's cheap, but make sure you get one with a good service history and all. Otherwise it gets very expensive quickly. Good luck!
