Yep Chacc not that bad in late game but honestly Incon doesn’t give his opponents any chance to really be prepared for late game period lol
I don't see Chaac bad at late game but i think he just used his ULT in late and that's it. But a casually player and not in ranked, Chaac it's so fun to play and easy (for me to) too

This was one of those classic Incon Bully games. But seriously this video is showcasing why a front line is so important to have.
Meanwhile in all my casual matches I somehow end up with a Chronos support and a Ra solo. True story.
@Capri Panther the only mage that works consistently for me as a solo is zhong kui, other than him mages solos arent good at this role
Runic shield on a warrior is reason why warriors are viable...to harass mages...runic shield is great against 3 magical teams...or Witchblade is essential to fight hunters in the late game
I just played a match last night in solo as Cu Chulainn and I was against an Anubis. 15 minutes in the game the enemy Ne Zha AND Cuthulu were just laning with Anubis to stop me from getting the Phoenix. Fun fact, I was 6 levels above from stealing their jungle all game because Anubis failed so hard.
I mained solo for my entirey of smite so when Manikins became so dominant in the lane I kinda thought it was becoming unfun and was actually kinda scared to queue up as solo, I play Chaac pretty religiously as of recently so this is reassuring. Thank you Papa Incon.

Highly recommend buying shifter’s shield in the solo lane this season. It combos so well with glad shield to give you even more bonus damage and protections
So buy that over pridwen or the void shield? Where you getting your cdr at then other than blue buff if you go pridwen?
@@brandonenke2680 buy that over void shield if you want it. That 15% pen isn't as helpful as you might think at times.

@@thelastwisp1205 carries already have a good amount of options to get %pen since dominance was introduced allowing them to "break" the 40% penetration barrier for the 50% pen autos, executioner with the 28% plus some other pen item like silver branch or berserkers (wind demon and fail-not for crit builds are a must), not only that but void shield decreases the efficiency of the %pen since the aura applies before the pure %pen, so lets say your jg or carry has 30% pen, if the enemy had 200 phys prots then for the jg/carry they would shred through 60 prots, if you had void shield applied the enemy would have 170 so the jg/carry would shred through 51 prots (9 prots less than the initial 60 so the final prots would be 119) although yes, you do reduce prots the job of the solo is to kill the back line so you arent going to be always near your carry, im not saying void shield is a bad item, its actually very good but you should keep all of the above in mind before buying it.

warding sigil and a t1 defense item is really good on chaac too
If you have blink, my favorite combo is: Blink-4-auto-2-auto-1-auto-3-auto (yes, I skipped the auto after the blink because you may be peeled away or hit by a silence in that brief period while you auto). The 2 will often backfire on you and pull you backwards in the chase if you use the 1 first, so I use it early. And the double slow is more valuable to prevent them from running away, especially when movement speed is the only thing that can get you away while silenced. As mentioned in the video, Chaac loves to bully backliners without good movement abilities like Zeus and Morrigan. In that case, this combo will secure the kill almost every time. The support will have to be on high alert for you after you do it once or twice. But since your Ult makes you CC immune and then possibly silences the support along with the mage you dove, there’s little they can do to stop you. I would recommend everybody learn Chaac for their reliable solo lane pick, except Manikan’s bullied you out of lane before Patch 8.1 and I don’t know if it still does because I haven’t played much solo in the last few days.

Chaac being one of my favorite solo laners, one build option that is actually possible for him is transcendence. It sounds crazy, but hear me out. Chaac is the warrior with the best self-healing. Hercules and Tyr might seem to contest him in this, but one is percentage based, the other is amount of enemies based. Chaac's heal needs none of that. It can scale nicely with power, and once you get Cad shield, you can regen a large amount of your health bar. Perhaps a void shield for some protection reduction can make you scary as hell to anyone. If they have a lot of auto attackers and you think you can survive, a bluestone pendant to go for corrupted bluestone makes you an absolute nightmare for AA gods as they have the 3's slow, your axe doubling that slow if you choose, and then corrupted bluestone stealing their attack speed. Chaac normally falls off late but with this build I can stay as a monster to late game AA gods, making them try to get away from me at all costs.
Leveling: 4, 1, 3, 2
you can switch around the latter two of this, but if you build trans early you will need the heal most likely as psuedo defense.
Item build: Sundering axe, trans, warrior boots, hide of the urchin, pridwen, cad shield, replace warrior boots with defense (void shield does nicely here) or heartseeker if you think you can get away with it (if using bluestone, you will need some more defense)
trans can be built when you want, but I would suggest latest would be as your third normal item. Hide of the Urchin can be switched out if you want, I just like it as an option because it gives mana as well increasing your power, a nice substitute for breastplate of valor since pridwen is rather cool. Anti-heal options like pestilence and stuff can be used if needed. I have found Hero's axe can also work as a supplementary defense option if you find yourself trying to hold off a Kali constantly diving your backline as example. You give a shield to the stunned squishy, then lay down a 1/3 combo and suddenly that Kali isn't as confident without popping beads.

I used to be 2 star ymir main in solo lane and at the start of the last season it wasn't going so well so I decided to try out chacc and had a 22 kill game in my fist game with him and now I only play chacc on 2 stars rn

It 100% does. The patch now means it does no bonus to towers so it kinda sucks...buuuttt..
Boots rush ( I like Atk speed boots just to add some Atk speed in the build for animosity)

Talisman of energy
Animosity
Frostbound
Sell boots for anything Atk speed+hp based if you're doing well or more tank (like prydwn)
Void shield first item is also good this season and you can replace talisman with it if their magic comp doesn't scare you
The blue with the Scorpion dead gives you 20% CDR and it's Enough

since they are nerfing the axe here and taking away that damage mitigation I have found success building for corrupted bluestone on chaac against aa gods, aiming for that late game ironically on chaac as early game manikins will just bully you

Proper chaac leveling order is 1234. There is an argument to me made for the ult after the 2 now that you get more mitz but 1234 is still the best.
