This is the example of what a Farther is!. I was blessed to have had one!. But few get the chance to experience the devotion this mans love is for his family!. Not only did this stranger came in our lives because we all want “our dream pool” And was great But I believe He And his family are a inspiration to all fathers and mothers as to be a little kinder loving and patience not only to our families but to all thanks and I’m building one just like it !. I pray!. How long did it take? I put a 24 54 by my self so ground is level but concerned about dropping it?. Live in Ga. so we have hard clay?
Thank you! It took about a month and a half to 2 months as I recall. Most of that was digging and leveling a little bit after work each day. I was lucky I was digging in sand and not hard clay. But hard clay is very stable. There is a guy on UA-cam that talks about doing this in Ga clay and I think he says it works well for this. Just hard to dig out without equipment.
Thanks! With everything I spent no more than $5000.00. For us it is awesome. We live where the summer is extremely hot and I use it almost every day. Small pools like this are sometimes referred to as a "plunge pool". Not necessarily for rip-roaring fun or doing laps, more for relief from the extreme heat. Allows me to spend more time outside in summer. A place to float and have drinks outside. I can work on projects outside and easily cool down during breaks.
Hi again and thanks for the information! I also would like to know what size of pool this is and how hard is it to maintain it. I would appreciate your reply since I am planning on putting one of these aboveground pools in my yard. Thank you!
Hi Daisy. This is the 12'x17'x54" Quest Oval Pool. I got it from The Pool Factory. All pools require some attention every week but it's worth it for me. I check the water quality every other day. Add chemicals a few times a week. I clean it weekly.
Yes very affordable if you install it yourself. I paid $2,500 for mine. A quote to have an in-ground pool of similar size dug and built was way over $30,0000.
@@MarkFerdinandAuthor yea that's something reasonable I can work with. Your pool looks really nice. Did you get one that said specifically for semi inground?
My future "dream" project. I would of put the pool a little lower though. Also Thumbs up for being a awesome father.
Thanks. As I add mulch, it will get lower ;-).

Have you fixed the leak? Air sucked in to the pump can damage the pump
Wow! This turned out great. I was wondering how much all this cost and how fun are these small pools for an adult?

They sell it saying that it can be buried up to half way up the wall.
