Khaulin, “Turfing it” is bad, but a “Yard Sale” is worse. That’s when you are unconscious long enough that a crowd has gathered and is picking through your equipment to see if there’s anything they want, on the off-chance you are dead. My last one was at “The Cliff” on the Yellow River trail in Northeast Georgia back in 2003. This trail is used by foot and horse traffic also, and those type of vultures were picking through my stuff when I came to and ran them off. Not a one of them even asked if I was OK! Too close to Atlanta to have any manners, I guess... Fortunately, the only loss I suffered was a shattered helmet, which Bell replaced at no charge, even paying for the shipping. That helmet saved my life!
We were out there this summer. Beautiful area. Those little thorns are nasty...I was working on our trailer and slipped/fell on both palms and one knee into a bunch of those. Was picking out broken off thorns for several days. Weeks later I was still finding and digging those things out. They are the scourge of the off road community because people with no trail edecuit abuse trails and overall act stupid, driving in groups with loud stereos and lighted whips. Dirt bikers especially despise them for wrecking single track. Places like Moab and Sedona have rental places that send hundreds of them out into the trails and are a major part of the problem.

If you have a spreader bar, you could hoist from the top without any risk to the roll bar, lift it sideways and if you had an under-reach you could set it right down on the under reach stabilizing it from the top with the spreader bar (Like you would do towing a motorcycle on an old hook and chain truck). Also the way you tow things behind this truck, you could really benefit from a spreader bar there too. Eliminate some of the swinging and pulling forces that you usually encounter.

The shot from the side of the wrecker pulling the Razor up the 8:12 incline was just incredible. It shows just how capable the wrecker really is. Thanks for the update on what's left to work on with the wrecker. What was the thing hanging from the roof by your head when you were discussing this? Flashlight?
Cool trail great recovery. Had a thought though. Your rear boom where you have the rope going through on top of the boom. What if it was on the bottom or sides instead to gain the clearance of the thickness of the boom between the wrecker and the towed vehicle. Definitely a lot of work for 4’’-6’’ but might be worth it on bumps . Love the videos!
I think the best testament to the heavy wrecker is the fact that it is intuitive enough that anybody can drive it with the minimum amount of instruction, if things ever get slow business wise and you are looking for other revenue streams you could do recovery lessons with it and a wrecked vehicle, "I would buy that".

Watching from KENYA 🇰🇪 EAST AFRICA
Jamie is a boss in the wrecker! And the song sounds great 😊
If you have a spreader bar, you could hoist from the top without any risk to the roll bar, lift it sideways and if you had an under-reach you could set it right down on the under reach stabilizing it from the top with the spreader bar (Like you would do towing a motorcycle on an old hook and chain truck). Also the way you tow things behind this truck, you could really benefit from a spreader bar there too. Eliminate some of the swinging and pulling forces that you usually encounter.
“If you only had x, y, and z” comment again I see
@@MurCurieux as a "professional" he should already have this stuff. It's very basic. I'm always surprised when he doesn't.
🤓
Jamie is killing it driving the off road wrecker . Matt you have such a great family and team. Keep up the great work .
To bad you guys don't have a flatbed that can go off road huh.
*too
@@stuartpickles6907 To bad I don't care huh?
That's really cool that Colin is a MTB coach!! I really regret not mountain biking on my only trip to Utah. It's an amazing state that I really want to get back and explore more of. Your family and content are awesome! Keep up the great work!!
Steel triangle sorts you out on this 100%, just try it
Nice camera work. I really like seeing that wrecker work. 😊 and i concurr with that hypothesis. 😊
As Rory would say, "That's from the Ba-ROKE period" lol. Good to see Frankanana out having fun with Dad and the boss. I bet you are enjoying the MUCH nicer temps, I know I am.
Thanks for the recovery-video! Isn't it amazing how well the towbar of the rollback serves you? There must be a way to use one on the wrecker, too! 😉
There was a time when you’d put that rig on your trailer… 🤷♂️
I suspect that the trailer is too small. The size of those Riggs are getting ridiculous!
Dang got to say you got a top 10 wife for sure!! I thought one that can clean fish and service a boat motor was awesome but one that can run an off-road wrecker like a pro is a one in a million!!! Good job Jammie and you guys are an awesome couple I wish you many years of a happy life together...
About 100 years a go when we towed cars, we ran a strap through a steel pipe and attached each car and the bar kept cars from hitting each other.
I could feel your love for the wrecker in that shot^^
Creosote bushes are all over the desert, even right behind Matt in this video. When it rains in the desert, the Creosote bushes give off a clean pleasant smell that fills the clean air, and makes you want to stop fill your lungs and just enjoy life for the moment. It's blessing reserved only for those who venture out into the desert when it rains.
Nice recovery . Thanks for sharing !
The shot from the side of the wrecker pulling the Razor up the 8:12 incline was just incredible. It shows just how capable the wrecker really is. Thanks for the update on what's left to work on with the wrecker. What was the thing hanging from the roof by your head when you were discussing this? Flashlight?
Amazing singing voice Matt ❤
A true picture to a man's soul. 🙏
Better luck next time.
Matt and his crew made an awesome work on that wreckerXD
You are never too old for that. Great way to get in shape.
I like how the view from the cab forward looks. Your hood has a smiley face 😊
Nice recovery Matt. Just keep doing You!😅❤
Cool trail great recovery.
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
I think the best testament to the heavy wrecker is the fact that it is intuitive enough that anybody can drive it with the minimum amount of instruction, if things ever get slow business wise and you are looking for other revenue streams you could do recovery lessons with it and a wrecked vehicle, "I would buy that".
