Mike Florio has been the go to guy on all contracts and business side of the NFL. Its when he does insights with Chris Simms that he starts to fall into trouble. He should just focus on that so that his shows truly does shine.
Tbh, with all the support and no nonsense approach that Tyreek has shown, I would redo his contract just so that he gets his money guaranteed but won't add any more money than he was due. Was he or is he worth that amount of money? Sometimes he is and sometimes he wasn't. However, Hill never shied away from it and took responsibility by admitting that McD even called him out on it.
Despite all the cramps that he has gotten, he always tries his best with no Diva attitude and comes back out to finish the games. Compare that with the AB situation that quit in the middle of the game despite Brady pinning for him. Just imagine how our passing game would he without Hill acting as decoy for Waddle and all other WRs. Look at the Ravens and Broncos games last year.
Maybe we struck gold with Ezukama or the Washington brothers but until we do I wouldn't discard Hill just yet. Maybe OBJ can continue on his bargain basement contract.
That would explain why Tyreke has been pumping up Chris Grier left and right this off-season!
Big O insists they are moving on from Tyreek. He was right about them moving on from X and he nailed it.
Looking at the numbers 31 this year and 34 next year 👀 it's not hard to make him the highest paid if 32 is now the highest. And X played hurt for the last 2 years that's why they let him go couldn't stay healthy

They didn’t redo Hill's conract this year when they needed money. They redid a lot of the other big ones. That is a sign that they may be wanting to move on from Tyrek.

Miami drafting Malik Washington feels like they want to replace Hill vs. resigning him.
No he's a sixth round pick who will in no way replace Tyreek Hill. Nobody can replace Tyreek Hill, who's arguably the best player in football.
@iafigueroa91 Hill is definitely one of the best WRs in the league. That being said, Hill is 30 years old and will definitely be replaced within the next couple of years. Tom Brady was a 6th-round pick.
