- This decluttering and organizing session was LONG overdue! Since I moved into this house six years ago, I have never tried to reorganize this cabinet.
In order to reorganize, you must declutter first! There's no sense in shuffling things around that don't serve you any purpose - this is something I learned the hard way.
My home has a somewhat large amount of space for storage, but we have felt like we had none or not enough. This is when I realized we just had far too much STUFF.
I've been on this journey for a while now - decluttering and organizing take time! It does not happen overnight. If you want to change your habits and mindset to be more organized and free of clutter, you must allow yourself to take baby steps and gradually shift your lifestyle.
Remember, it's ok to tackle one drawer or one cabinet at a time! Doing things one at a time is the easiest way to get started and maintain better habits.

16 I'm also where you are in terms of having identified products. It's so satisfying each time I finish one and the overstock zone shrinks. Especially knowing it won't happen again in future. I have also committed to finishing the products that didn't excite me now that I have identified what I want to use going forward. It feels like forward movement. Especially when I bin a bottle for a product I won't be buying again.
I agree! I love using what I already have and knowing that I’m reducing extra stuff at the same time! ♥️
I will also try to use up the products that I am not particularly fond of, just because I hate wasting them.

Do you think the slide out organizer shelf would work on the side where the garbage disposal is? I am looking for something like this, but not sure if this would work in that space.
I think it definitely could! I just think the garbage disposal might hang too low for some products to fit nicely on the rack. If you’re planning to put smaller things on it, then it could work just fine!

You organized underneath the kitchen sink very well. I have one question? You have a toddler? Shouldn't those items be up high? Or at least a lock on the cabinet so he can't get in to anything. It would make me feel a lot better lol
Great question!! There are child proof locks on the cabinets already!! I just didn’t show them in the video because I plan to get new ones anyway. 🥰
@@chicpeachaf Oh thank you! That makes me feel so much better. In my day and age. I'm 67. We didn't have those child proof locks so either had to put all your stuff up very high or I would use big thick rubber bands. ❤️
