I too love variegated, self striping, speckled, ombre, twisted, etc. Currently working on Renoir's Ripple (The Hat & I), using Red Heart's Melange Cakes in Paparazzi, Show Time, Curtain Call and Theater. It is a riot of color and it doesn't get boring 🤣
Also, you have a good eye for design...that charcoal color DOES absolutely go with anything and everything. I collect Tiffany inspired lamps and it reminds me of leading between the stained glass. Come to think about it, that is probably why I am drawn to the multi-colored yarns...they play extra nice with my lamps and "all the things."

Love, love the blanket. Just a tip for knitting. To get a smooth edge, slip the first stitch of every row. Never put your project in the middle of a row, It will stretch the stitch and leave a hole.

Last week's show was a blast. You and Jax are definitely in sync!
Knitting looks great! Here is a tip to get nice clean edges. I always add two extra stitches to any of my afghan or scarf patterns. Then the first stitch of each row I always knit and the last stitch I always bring the working yarn to the front and slip the last stitch as if it were a purl. Gives a real nice clean edge to my work.

I'm a knitter n crocheted n whilst watching this I am knitting. I've been asked to recreate a top with no pattern, I looked it up n eventually found the pattern n it's called " the German honeycomb" n I'm enjoying it.

You do beautiful work, Juan! I love everything you've recently completed! I definitely need to make at least one bucket hat this summer! Yiur knitting is coming along nicely! Try doing a slip stitch at the beginning of each row for a smooth, even edging throughout! I like going up a size or two with my needles, too. It makes things squishier and more bulky. Just remember to alter your stitch count accordingly for wearable items. I learned that the hard way. 😂😂😂

Hi Juan. Double your Yarn and lower the Hook size when doing your Brim and maybe add one more row to the Brim... oh and back loop only for the first round when starting your Brim... I hope this helps 🧶💚

Good job on the knitting. Knitting to me is not as forgiving as crochet. Have you heard the steps like this : 1)stab it, 2) strangle it, and 3) throw it off the cliff? I get a tickle out of that saying it to my self when I knit. 😂
