Hey Bales, they make a rubber thingy that goes over the probe,...🤔 but considering the kiddos y'all have now, I wouldn't expect ya to know much about them! 😉🤣 as always stay safe Ponyboy, appreciate y'all and the stories... especially the couch stealing gophers! 💪🇺🇲👍
Hey Trevor, love the videos! From South Central Pennsylvania here!! Farming in the desert?? Crazy!!! I’d be lost not sliding down a ridge/mountain side in my JD 612R sprayer!! What’s with the “rubber band” bracelet???? 😂
Oh man, the Pete 337 over Ford or GM on medium duty trucks all day long. 10 year old and 15 year old Pete’s. Still going strong. The Fords and GM fell apart the motor worked, but that’s it. Crappy seats, crappy dash, crappy AC, crappy doors. Talk an about junk. Those cabs are trash. From my experience anyway. Maybe if they weren’t working very hard, they would be ok?
@BalesHayFarmandRanch I was talking about that nasty daily thing you drive. LOL As far as a semi, personal I'd like to see what a Mack could do. Heard they've came a long way in the last few yrs.
I can tell you as a large square bale farmer/custom harvester that a bale probe that tests mostiure and temp is handy. I don't need to carry two probes. The only downfall is it's not analog like yours.
@BalesHayFarmandRanch I can tell you with the bales in the field it takes a bit longer to check a bale. With our big bales I prefer to check the center more than the edges since it's more likly to have a hot spot due to it being too green. Anything over 16.5% I won't bale.
New subscriber here...just wondering how many acres you're doing? Looks like you've got quite an operation going there! Thank you for your videos. Gladwin MI hay farmer
I would think with you being in the hay business that you would have 50 hay probes, one in every vehicle and piece of equipment. No? Isn’t the moisture of the hay crucial to the end product?
They are pretty expensive. I have one. Brian has one. Manuel has one. The balers have them built into them. We have lots of them. I’m going to move over to the temp and moisture style 2024 season.
Trevor.....you have a great eye for quality hay....no many people have that talent
Trevor-- --it was great to hear about the tenting experience with your son--way to make memories for both of you!
WAY TO GO DAD!
I love your sense of humor great video treavor
lol. I try to throw some dry or parent only humor in there.
Hey Bales Hay Farm and Ranch!, again good stuff!👍👍✌️
Merry🎄Christmas and Happy New Year!🎉

Nice color hay
we better see some wheelies.. do the steamers require a lot of maintenance??
We're making hay
Time to update the garbage truck. Trade it in for a GMC and you'll get a bigger fuel tank. 😂😂😂

Hi 👋🏻 Trevor Bales…

I think this one had a bad battery, and we’re swapping over to the temp ones as well. I don’t like digital as much. But I do want both capabilities.

It's a up charge if you order a pickup to go to 35 gallon . Last Ford I ordered the salesman almost missed it .

Trevor, get a long bed.
48 gallon tank.
Be a man.
lol beggars/ shopping used, it can be difficult.
You are so into bettering your bigger trucks, yet you still drive a ford. Time to get a ram with a real diesel engine.
Why? I like having more power and a more reliable truck 🤣😂
If u want reliablity it sure ain’t ford.
