Re:Zero is an amazing story in many different ways. If you're gonna watch it then pay attention cuz it's more satisfying that way.

Hmm, how to desribe this?
Imagine a show with a lot of character growth and development. Where characters' facets and thoughts are explored, and people evolve and face a lot of growth.
Especially the MC.
Now, imagine that all of that character exploration, growth and development the MC faces is done through torture porn.
That's basically this.
All things bad and terrible one can think of basically hapen to the MC from the start, over, and over, and over and the MC slowly gets explored, becomes a better, then worse person then better again then gets beaten and ground down to dust over and over and over.
And over and over and over.
I wanna see you react to the endings, they are really good too. Endings are usually slower than openings, in most of anime, so you wouldn't enjoy them as much as openings.
The show is far from over. The show have adapted the first 15 volumes and there is currently 33 volumes with more coming out this year. Btw by how many arc the author have said it is going to be I am guessing that there is going to be inbetween 50-60 books when this series is finnished which means that if they adapt everything we will have around like 175 to 200 episodes maybe.

5:35 most anime with the title "in another world" are mostly action with a few exception but those exceptions are easy to spot since its in their name. BUT in most of these there are some elements of romance

Ima say something controversial, Re:Zero is as good as AOT because Both MC is similar they both do everything for their goal even if they die. aand also the 7 route of sins makes it more PEAK

Re:Zero and AOT are solidly my #1 and #2, with Re:Zero on top cause I like the pacing / mystery structure / characters / fantasy setting more. Such a good damn show and rich plot.
I wouldn’t fully agree with this. I think Subaru’s character arc is kinda about not becoming like Eren.
I think Eren is probably closer to Roswaal.

This is my favorite anime of all time, and I’ve watched just about every popular show save One piece, and a lot of obscure ones as well, if you do decide to watch it, be prepared because you’ll never see a show like this ever 😂❤

Re:Zero is about self love. I've finished season 2 recently and now my family is sick of me saying that 😅 but yeah, totally recommend it!!! Not a flawless series, but one that touched my heart greatly.
Would love to see you react to the EDs! STYX HELIX is my favorite, as it's theorized to be in the POV of my favorite character (Satella).
Also - Beatrice imo is more of a sibling relationship with Subaru than a romantic one. There's only really 3 main love interests that are confirmed-confirmed.
The concept of the anime is (and this has spoilers for the first episode, but you did mention wanting an explanation, sooo) that everytime the main character, Subaru, dies, he goes back in time. That's why it shows a lot of his dead bodies in the third OP - he's passing all the times he's died... only to fall to his knees seeing the times his romantic interest and friend have died. Subaru... goes through a lot this anime. As I said - this anime is about self love (even if it may not appear that way at first).

Well it’s hard to describe this show without spoiling the first episode which I recommend going into it blind.
But with spoiling some of ep 1 the mc is a regular teenager who got transported into a fantasy world (a common genre in anime called isekai) he then discovered he got an ability to not die. So he then try to understand this ability and use it to rescue himself and his new friends from different situations.

The Mc has confirmed that the original chick, and that blue haired maid are his only two lovers. Though he romantically loves the original chick and respects / cares a lot about the maid.
*There is an if route story where he romantically loved the blue haired maid and it ended badly.*
The girl you see holding hands with the mc in the last song, Long shot, is a spirit who he has contracted with. Apparently he broke her shell which confined her to Quarantine herself to the Library.
Shes chooses the Mc rather than waiting for "That Person"

In fact, Subaru does romantically love Emilia (the white-haired) and Rem (the blue-haired maid) equally. A scene where Subaru confirms this was omitted in the anime.

I doubt whether this guy will ever truly understand Re:zero if he ever tries to watch it. Watching Re:zero is just not watching Re:zero. *"Its Dedication."* I had to spent years on understanding Re zero because the details somehow relate themselves in future events.
This is exaggerated to a point that the author Tappei confirmed that every "Reinhardt quote" Is a MAJOR SPOILER.

@@Marpsz Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you dumb or anything. The thing is that Re zero needs to be watched with every line carefully and you have to also understand it morally. Also you have to refer some novel stuff if anime only because there are cuts. It's not like watching it with Demon Slayer type attention.
I was an anime only before and went easy going with it. I read the novel, saw people making theories and stuff and understood that I knew no sht about it even though I actually watched the two seasons.
The conclusion is that if you are going easy on Re zero then you probably won't understand many things about it.
There r only 2 mc in animes which disgust me. One is Yagami Light from Death Note and Natsuki Subaru from Re:Zero.
At least Subaru becomes a better guy after time.
Same, I was disgusted by Subaru's behavior, even now when I rewatch season 1, I'm disgusted, but I've realized that's all part of the character development. I'm currently catching up on the Novel and now he's my favorite character of all time
