Aaahhh good old Samtian. This looks like an upgraded box from the one they sent me for a review. I was very surprised by it. I actually still use it for a lot of promo video stuff.
I would have never got that thing put together. Ever. But once you got it put together it seemed to work really well. You definitely got some really nice shots, especially liked the one of the Kalimar and the lenses. For $70, seems like a decent buy despite the few cons that you mentioned. Loved the way you put this one together. As Dave said, the shot from inside looking out was definitely a nice touch. Great stuff as always Jim!
I had to use one of these for a food shoot due to a lack of space in (what’s called over here) a cloud kitchen 18 months or so ago - I thought it was pretty decent for what it was. Well put together review - that shot from the camera in the box looking out at you shooting was a cool touch 👍🏻
Thanks, Dave. I was pretty surprised at how good the photos came out. This would be excellent for someone who’s selling trinkets on eBay or Etsy and using their phone for photos. Food shoots are the best! 😋
