You with the 5 dollar footlong Jesus as we call him locally, was the absolute highlight of my week! The waving from the foot was priceless. The butter Jesus was struck by lightning( I know there’s a joke here) years ago. Glad to see you in my area. Safe Travels!
My mom used to be a vendor there, 20 years ago they used to have real horses and even a zebra in the corrals and even further back than that they used to have stagecoach rides. My great aunt sells gliders there now. I always thought they added the fiberglass animals because of Jungle Jim's popularity. If you like flea markets Jacob, there's one in Brookville Indiana that's called Whitegate farms, it's open on Wednesdays from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00. It's a rural flea market, they sell livestock and a lot of antique items there's also a really large flea market in Lucasville Ohio, they do it four times a year and it's huge! Some people have to camp out just to get in! It's called Lucasville Traders day.
I grew up with my grandparents selling fish to Jungle Jim for groceries, and my mom having me help hunt for Rookwood, and Roseville pottery at the outside Traders World booths.
That place was huge, but there are people probably still wandering trying to find the exit!!! How's rosebud handling I always love the smell of a new car, it always sends happy endorphins to my brain!!! Lol. Drive safe love your videos!!!
Turtle Creek is another huge flea market on the other side of rt 75 towards Monroe. It's not called that anymore but those two flea markets played off each other. Monroe is my home stomping grounds
My old stompin' ground! I worked a mile and a half to your left and lived a mile and a half to your right! Trader's World was one of my favorite shopping spots! Thank you so much for visiting there! Also, "Turtles druther" is the country way of saying "Turtles would rather" be at Traders World. 😂
Good seeing you at Traders World. I have been there several times. I used to sell stuff at Turtle Creek Flea Market across the road. LOL Cool seeing the Pop up Elvis Museum. I have never seen that there before. When my Dad was in the Army. Elvis was coming into Germany. When he was leaving. I look forward to seeing where you went to today.
Hey! I have sat up many times at this flea market. It's where I'm from. Live in Hebron ky now; nothing like this place in or anywhere near Hebron! Enjoy! Go to Treasure Isle, too!
Turtles would druther be at Turtle World. Across the highway is another flea market that used to be called Turtle Creek (now Treasure Aisles) flea market, kind of a dig at their competitor at the time. I’m glad you enjoyed Skyline Chili, lots of out-of-state UA-camrs make fun of it and dislike it. You can ask for a small 3 way to still enjoy and cut carbs a little. People make skyline dip at home, get a disposable aluminum pan, cover bottom with spread out block of cream cheese, pour warmed chili over that and cover with mild shredded cheese and bake until cheese melts, eat with tortilla chips. Delicious!
Good stuff Jacob. My brother and sister-n-law used to set up outside at Trader's World and sell things years ago. Trader's World just isn't what it used to be in it's heyday before the internet and ebay put a giant dent in the Flea Markets sales. Touchdown Jesus was struck by lightening because they did not have him properly grounded. The current Jesus statue is grounded right and should not suffer the same fate. I am glad you got some rest and enjoyed some Skyline Chili. Other places in Cincy to get chili is Gold Star, Blue Ash Chili and Camp Washington Chili.
Alternate take on the turtle quip - I always took it as a cheeky reference to their competition - there used to be a Turtle Creek flea market (now treasure aisles) right across the interstate.
What a trip to see people talk about this as a kid we used to have to commute from Hamilton to Cincinnati so we used to go here all the time and seeing the big butter Jesus before it got struck by lightning and was rebuilt to the 5-dollar footlong Jesus and seeing traders world is such a blast from the past and I'm glad to get confirmation that it wasn't a childhood fever dream
Good morning! Hope Ohio treats you better this time around. My daughter lives near Traders World. I get most of my gifts from there from her. Fun place to shop!
Glad you went to Traders World! I haven't been there in a few years and have been meaning to return. Always fun to look around, it can take hours to get through the whole thing.
I love Trader's World! We used to stop by nearly every year, used to be more old stuff rather than new. They used to have a live zebra back in the 90's Thanks for sharing!
Ack! All the wrestler action figures made me smile 😃 Too cool 😎 Love flea markets and swap meets. Always such interesting things, and people, at those places. We have a bunch of flea markets here in AZ that are pretty impressive. Fun times.
Can't believe you were right here in my neck of the woods. One of my favorite places to go during the weekends at traders' world You may have missed it, but they have the best fried Chicken and fudge in Ohio And it's been a while since I've been there. The elvis museum as new It's the first time i've heard of it
"Druther" is short form for "would rather." An offshoot of this is the phrase, "if I had my druthers." First time I heard it was in the Primus song, "DMV."
They should call the cabin "Little House On The Parking Lot". One of my friends dad's, was in the same unit as Elvis in Germany. He had some interesting stories to tell. Basically, he said Elvis got a lot of special treatment .
awesome, that's right down the road from me! been meaning to go, but waiting for the weather to be really nice to enjoy the outside vendors, where i would sell now and then.
Good morning Jacob, while your in Ohio don't get stuck or stranded lol like the last time u had car trouble. I know now u have brand new car, but things can happen. Take care and thank you for sharing were you go and the places you visit. 🤓📸👍
I worked down there for a little over 5 months back in mid 2000's and loved visiting there. Definitely Shocked to hear about the Butter Jesus. Was always amazing driving by and seeing it. Safe Travels and keep it between the lines. 😊
We haven't been to Traders World in so long! It's a great place to stock up on high dollar perfumes and colognes for $25. And Skyline is the best!! Great video!
loveland castle, king's island, carillon park, and calvary cemetery. might as well stop by the hamburger wagon in miamisburg, wright patt. it's not like there's nothing to do here, but 'some people' want to think we're some flyover area.
I was just there a month ago visiting family and that place is huge inside! I had gotten a lot of great deals and the ice cream was delicious. I seen everything ya showed in the video and loved reading the signs above as well. Oh ppl setting up outside now as I’ll have to make another trip just to walk around outside now. You can see some pretty cool, neat stuff at Traders World Flea Market, in Lebanon, Ohio. Enjoy the hunt! lol ♥️
Ahhh! This is my local flea market. My boyfriend was at the same flea market on the same day! We call that Jesus "5-Dollar Footlong Jesus." I've never heard it called "Hug Me Jesus" unless that's its official name.😅 That Skyline is right around the corner from where I work, so that's my frequent lunch spot!
Hi Jacob. Very interesting. Really enjoyed ths one. Loved the Traders World. That would be a place i would go as often as possible and spend hours walking and looking around. Loved the fiberglass figures outside that draw people in.
I dont recall ever seeing a video of you going to a flea market before? but you should totally do more of this! I mean... do whatever you want ;) im not trying to tell you what to do. but I'm a big fan of flea market youtube videos. Maybe you could swing over to Rogers, Ohio to the Rogers Flea Market sometime soon. It's like the biggest one in ohio i think Something like 1600 vendors, and 250 acres. Im going to be going out there soon to source some inventory for a store im opening. (I've never been). Oh and also, that clown....nope..just nope...😬🤣
If heading north Ohio. East side 10 covered bridges. Cleveland Christmas movie house, multiple things there. Cool West end market -old open building market variety of things and food. Sandusky has Cedar Point starts may has the most coasters. Coasters tallest, wooden, water. Theme areas...Plan a trip... go from lighthouse to lighthouse on Lake Erie. Just suggestions
Hey Jacob, you’re in my neck of the woods but yeah those figures that you see out there those are all that we’re all added sometime in the last couple of years so those are fairly recent. He’s always had a few out there but just the ones that are along the road from the main entrance down to the sign. Those were just added like I said sometime in the last couple of years so and alsotreasure Island flea market is across I 75 from this one, so may wanna check it out if you haven’t already but anyway welcome to Ohio and glad you’re here. I think you were there Sunday we had was going down there but I didn’t like driving.
You with the 5 dollar footlong Jesus as we call him locally, was the absolute highlight of my week! The waving from the foot was priceless. The butter Jesus was struck by lightning( I know there’s a joke here) years ago. Glad to see you in my area. Safe Travels!
“Bring it in Jesus”.
I was coming to say that myself lol
I call him "Yea Big Jesus"
It's touchdown jesus
My mom used to be a vendor there, 20 years ago they used to have real horses and even a zebra in the corrals and even further back than that they used to have stagecoach rides. My great aunt sells gliders there now. I always thought they added the fiberglass animals because of Jungle Jim's popularity.

The jacket you had in question that was framed in the Elvis section was the jacket Elvis was wearing the day he was drafted.
😮 that's really cool
I grew up with my grandparents selling fish to Jungle Jim for groceries, and my mom having me help hunt for Rookwood, and Roseville pottery at the outside Traders World booths.
Thanks!
That place was huge, but there are people probably still wandering trying to find the exit!!! How's rosebud handling I always love the smell of a new car, it always sends happy endorphins to my brain!!! Lol. Drive safe love your videos!!!
25:35 we call it Field goal Jesus or $5 footlong Jesus i live in Cincinnati really close; this is in Monroe Ohio they have 2 flea markets
Jacob, you need a photo album of all the statues & signs you've taken a picture with. :~)
I love how humble you are I'd love to meet you one day. Your videos make me smile your a good time and part of the fam here
Jacob that sign meant Turtles would prefer being in Turrtles world than Traders World lol
Turtle Creek is another huge flea market on the other side of rt 75 towards Monroe. It's not called that anymore but those two flea markets played off each other. Monroe is my home stomping grounds
Yes- it's called Treasure Aisles now, but the last time I was there, there was still some turtle imagery from when it was Turtle Creek.
Trader's world is a great place to find stuff.
This looks so fun!!!!! Thank you for taking us!!!!
there's so much you can do when you get off that exit.
Jacob..Do you know about WKRP in Cincinnati? TV show?
Great sitcom. I read where the building is still standing. Would love to see it
Love the video. Love all your and Jen videos.

You put alot of effort into your videos❤ you make things fun for sure. I appreciate you Jacob!!!!!
the elvis stuff i think was in the pigeon forge musuem at one time. I wondered where it all went after it closed.
Jacob, you’re a class act. Keep doing what you do.
😂 "only Jesus can do that" 26:03 . Also the flea market is sooo huggee. Thanks jacob for covering the place for us.
Turtles would druther be at Turtle World. Loved this episode that flea market was something else happy travels! Looking forward to tomorrow.
It comes from an old saying. "If I had my druthers" That basically means If I had a choice I would be doing whatever
Good stuff Jacob. My brother and sister-n-law used to set up outside at Trader's World and sell things years ago. Maybe they grounded the second one as the proverbial Hail Mary play to keep it from getting fried again. 😀
i sold on the outside a bit, but i used to really do turtle creek before it caught fire and changed. made a lot of money there.
Alternate take on the turtle quip - I always took it as a cheeky reference to their competition - there used to be a Turtle Creek flea market (now treasure aisles) right across the interstate.
That’s right, I forgot about that!
I love flea markets

I love traders world! Great place to spend hours looking around
My uncle was in Army with Elvis . he said he was just a kid but very humble. He never acted like he was famous.
Trader's World is a very great place to explore and find a LOT of stuff. Hope you have many great travels Jacob!
Greetings from Poteet Tesas. Little House and the Prairie was a set of books by Laura ingalls wilder first the tv show was vast on them.
I love Trader's World! We used to stop by nearly every year, used to be more old stuff rather than new. They used to have a live zebra back in the 90's Thanks for sharing!

I'm from Troy,Ohio, and live near Tampa, Florida now,and I miss the Skyline Chili restaurants. Nice coverage of Traders World
There's several of them in Florida scattered everywhere, you ought to look a bit because they're there.
@@AzraelThanatosthere’s like 5 in the state and they’re all atrocious. Microwave is the Florida man’s best friend and it’s disgusting.
Love your adventures! I get the whole atmosphere feelings. The sights, the smells. Thank you so much for sharing your travels.❤
“Little House on the Prairie” is one of my favorite TV shows. I would highly recommend it. It’s such a heartwarming family show! ❤
I almost went to Traders world on Sunday. It's nice to see it from a perspective from someone who hasn't ever been there.

Great cult movie
This Video made me so smiles today!
Those plushies with the camera head are from a video game called Skibidi Toliet and the only reason I know that is because of my 11 year old son lol.
Love places like that!

Oh wow, the Jesus statue is ginormous!
Fun Video! Loved it.
You captured the whole dirt mall experience! I grew up going to Trader's World my whole life, so I would know!
Awesome video
This place reminds me of Traders Village in Grand Prairie, Tx but it’s outside and Big T Bizarre in Dallas which is inside
Thanks so much for a fascinating video. That the lightening struck the Butter Jesus statue is rather upsetting. This was a great trip.
