the accuracy on that 325 when youre casting for the third fish…really cool video!!! also, this is a full flex rod. makes you feel like youve got monsters everytime but strong enough to overpower the rod 😉 love to see it
agreed with your rod statement of the outbound adventure being more niche…those pocket rods are for just that! super packable but making it fishable at a length of 320!
nice to hear your feedback on the outbound adventure pocket ninja and the weight! having more blanks because of the collapsed size will definitely make it feel heavier. also, glad to hear your hand isnt slipping when wet on the grip! my hands dont slip either. I feel more connected to the fish and its movements when hooking into one.
Haha 😂 I hear ya! I definitely don’t need more rods and I’m trying to find a way to get a 325 in my hands permanently! Thank you for the kind words. Which one would you have lean towards if you had the budget?
Great comparison video for all of these premium rods! I haven't ever looked into Tanuki before, but I did while watching your video. If you do end up buying one, I'll have to borrow it 😉
@@skiddyfishing yeah, I checked with Luong today and he used to have something < 7' but he's sold out. I thought it was the golden trout rod at like 6.5' or around there. Hopefully he'll have another run in the future.
The Pocket Ninja is my least favorite of the three other Tanuki rods I have. I have The XL-1 (13'3") and the Tanuki Ninja II (11'6"). The Pocket Ninja is still a good rod.
I’m not gonna lie, the XL 405 sport with that cutthroat handle has intrigued me for a while. Do you feel that rod excels with heavier flies than light? It seems the general consensus is that most people like the original version of most of the Tanuki rods over the upgraded models.

glad the 325 hit your sweet spot 😉 really great overall video!!!
I continued after this video only with the 325 haha. Probably the best pocket water rod I have used! Thanks again Lady Tenkara Bum!! 😊

Yea the carbon certainly transfers well into the hands over the cork and foam handles!
Fun video!….and fun looking creek. Stop showing all these different rods! Your reviews make me think I “NEED” other rods! Keep em coming! Neil

I got the 325 and you should definitely cast it on our next adventure.
Amazing rods review. Keep it coming! ❤🎉
Thank you Carlos! 🙏
I want to catch a bonneville so bad!!! so cool. lovely water.
Drive through sometime and ill put you on them!
I have three tanuki rods and I really like them all. I think I need one in the 6' range.
I think the 240 Ninja is just over 7’. Not sure on other models but I agree. Best quality American based company hands down. You get what you pay for.

I can totally see what you mean with your comment. Which one is your favorite of the other two you mentioned?
@@skiddyfishing The XL-1. The version I have has been discontinued though.
