great help! thank you! I don't know web skills but i still make it work.
Great walk through of the setup! Thanks!
Thanks for the video and clear explanation 🎉
Going headless with Hashnode is pretty cool; the UI is fantastic, has a bit of SEO and alt tags, and is easy to use. I got excited about this for a company blog as a drop-in for Astro vs just a native Astro blog using Markdown files. When I analyzed this, it was not worth it because for corporate you need to contact them to negotiate a price. In my experience, say over the last 15 years, 100% of the time, if the prices are not on a website it's very expensive, they are probably going to stick you with a setup fee as well.
As soon as there is a cost (under $50mo), it is better to move to a full CMS because, at this point, you would want other people to manage content, OR if you are DIY, then you are doing it to save time.
The other thing to note is that you would want on your website the section of a recent post (a component in Astro) pulling title, date, author, summary, the on the blog page, and a list of the blog posts. Again, if you are doing this for a company- HOW many blog posts do you have before monetizing it (10, 20, 40, 60 posts)? We all know SEO isn't/doesn't work as well anymore, so churning out thousands of quality handwritten blog posts... the return vs paid ads is not worth it anymore as a 100% only thing to do.
This is cool! Now, I can take my blog content with me!
