With all the horrible things going on in the world, it was so nice to watch your beautiful story of adopting Doris. You are angels for saving this adorable pup!!! I'm glad she is thriving in your loving home! ❤️
Best family she could have asked for💕 I agree 100 percent with everything this wonderful woman said! I have 2 senior rescues myself who have lived in a shelter but now live their best lives full of love & happiness..& yes they are indeed extra extra spoiled🥰
Yes, thank you for saving her and allowing her to live out the rest of her time in a loving home with people who care for her as well as love her. I don't know what her life was before but she now has a wonderful family that has her best interests. Thank you for taking care of her till the end. At least if she didn't have a good life before, she will leave this world knowing that there are people who ARE loving and caring to animals. Once again Thank you. ❤ 💯
Kindness is a weakness to the indecent but virtuous to the decent. You are one the the decent ones. It’s difficult to see the decent humans but we have lost sin our world. We just need to recognize them as you did. Agreed 100% with you. thank you.
I adopted a 17 year old cat that was abandoned in a kill shelter....it was the best decision I ever made ! She was actually pretty healthy, and she lived another four years, until she was 21 ! She was a joy and a love....RIP, Deja, we miss you so much, baby.
Aww...she knows she's loved and living her best life in her golden years. It's a shame how we treat our senior animals so this is very uplifting to watch.
@@SecretWars98 This is exactly the place for that comparison. We send animals who've loved us and lived with us their whole lives to the shelter, and we send humans who've taken care of us and loved us to care facilities. Both places are depressing and neglectful out of necessity and lack of resources. The similarities are astounding.
What a happy story! Kind hearted people! I have a frosted-face senior as well. She’s 16 and we built a wagon for her to be pulled by my bike- but so far, she’s still running along side!
I took in a 14 year old dog , we only had 16 months together . Best decision ever , she was a joy to be with ! As for that final decision.. it's the last kind thing you can do for them . Thank you for doing this !!
Your the best for rescuing Doris she's a beautiful senior dog and she knew that a bad situation was coming and must have been happily blown away becoming a part of your family, thank you, thank you!!!
I'm crying my eyes out!!! Thank you for being such loving people!!- I have 3 rescue dogs, one is 20 years old!!! We have one rescue cat, we feed at least 20 feral cats in our neighborhood too!! I live in Las Vegas NV and people gets cute kittens and then when they grow a bit, they dump them outside into extreme heat and freezing cold, where most die after struggling and suffering for months. Others just up and move and leave their cats.. People are cruel creatures!!! This precious old girl was truly blessed to have been found by such loving people!!! Angels around you all
I cried so much watching this beautiful story❤️As the human friend to my senior adoption cat, I know how incredibly loving and life affirming these amazing senior animal are. Please give older animals a chance and God bless the lovely Doris and her wonderful humans🙏
I adopted a senior kitty 5 yrs ago. She's the reason why I'm still here. We need each other. I love animals and I would take a senior shelter dog or cat over a younger one. They are forever being over looked and end up living out the rest of their life in a cage.
Thanks to this lovely family for giving this elderly lady a loving environment. She more than deserves it. She is a beautiful girl. I love her soft expression... those eyes! Enjoy, Doris!
My 17 year old dog died on my porch. I left him in the shade, as he could not rise on his own anymore, as I went out for a short trip to the market. When I returned, the shade had shifted. I saw that he dragged himself a little bit to be in the shade again and while doing so, i assume he had a heart attack and stopped breathing. He was still very warm. I buried him in the rose garden. He had been a wonderful friend since he was a 10 day old puppy. During his last 90 days, he could not rise on his own anymore. Sometimes while lying down, he would look at me and give me the signal that he wanted to defecate. I would run to get a little garden shovel, position it, and voilà...no mess whatsoever. The oneness between dog and humans is simply just amazing. But I bet you all know that.
Definitely agree 💯%…Senior dogs do not deserve a shelter life 🥰..Thank you for taking Doris into your home & making her feel loved & cared for again…Thank you & may God Bless you & your Daughter for making that decision ❤️🙏❤️
Doris reminds me of all four of my adopted dogs, the last three of whom also lived to ~15/16. Puppies are cute, but "frosted faces" are sweeter. As she said, it's about appreciating everyday, giving them good food and love in the time they have left, then knowing when to help them pass and let them go. Now I have no dogs, hard to believe, and though it's hard work, as soon as I'm ready, I'd love another shelter senior like "Doris".💕🌈☮️
No animal should loose their life simply because they got old. Thank you to this family for giving her a chance to live the best life ever until her time comes. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

How sweet. I am so glad that you rescued her. Dogs need a pack and she did not have that in the shelter, as much as they try to take care of them. Now she has you and your family for her pack and her life is complete.

A truly heart-warming and uplifting story! You and your family are making this cute girl's "golden years" a time of joyful, gentle magic! At this moment, her cup of life is full right now, and overflowing! Blessings on you all, and on your sweet, spunky Doris!
You can tell she's very happy and to have been rescued. Thank the lord you guys came in at the right time. She definitely belongs to you. Just remember, the dog picks the human not the other way around and clearly that is evident in this awesome video. We love you, Doris.
If you need a mood lift today, THIS will do it. Gratitude to Doris' amazing family for recognizing the life within Doris, regardless of her frosted face and slow gait.
Thank y'all so much for getting Doris out of that shelter. Your right, seniors don't deserve their end of life in that cold and lonely place. Give her hugs from all of us and wish her happiness and lots of love. ❤️🤗🐾
Nice to see a senior dog being adopted, my dog is at end stage legs giving out, we are trying shots, but it is difficult for him to get around. He goes with me on car trips, to the nail salon, dry cleaners, and out for a jack in box treat. I have to lift him and out of car, he wags his tail, no need to let him know he is more work, we love him, as you this dog, just want you to know my dog as your is going no where, he will live out his life being wanted, and going places. WE are heading out on road trip, bring special things to help him along - he is a much loved dog, thank you for adopting this older dog. I get it. My dog is a large large hound dog, 110 lbs. and I lift him, no problem he rules our home.
This family touched my heart, they cared only to save this dog's life, no matter how old, they brought her home and gave her comfort and love and a yard to walk in and her own wagon, so they could take her out! No matter how much time she has left, she no longer is in a shelter, she has what she deserves, comfort, hope, and love. All because of a family who wanted to change her life! And they did, God bless them, love to you all, wendy
