I literally just went through my craft room to change over from plastic storage to cane baskets, wood boxes and my collection of tins. This is the perfect tutorial
Hi Gail, I always love it when I see the jars of mica powder in your shots as I know that a little (or a lot of) bling is coming. I don't think it looks like a gingerbread man any longer until you open it up. I really like the graduation of the balls- really effective Hope you have a nice Easter. Take care. 💗🐰
Hi Ellie, Ahh, the mica. I love that stuff... it used to be glitter, I couldn't help myself with that at one point either! Along with a new video wednesday, there will be another video coming on Saturday with glitter bling! The balls take so long to make, but they are worth it at the end 😆 I hope you have had a great Easter too! 🐰 🥰
Was just thinking about you yesterday, been missing your fun videos, I have shared your videos with my niece who is a wowzers artist with clay’s, like you sees something and can see it more for what it is. Now if she’s a subbie 🤷♀️ she’s never said. lol glad your feel more yourself, big hugs and much love your way. From across the pond Tfs ❤❤😊😊
Aww, Karen, thank you so much! I have my next one almost ready for Wednesday. I think I can keep going now! Thank you for sharing with your niece. It means a lot! ❤️
I have tons of tins but was concerned about covering them because of the paint/finish on them. I have covered lots of glass, though. Did you notice any off gassing or extra fumes when baking?
Hey, if they are a normal cookie/biscuit tin, there are no issues. With the tin I had I didn't notice any fumes etc. I bake at a low temp 75 degree Celsius (167 degree Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes in an electric standard oven (not toaster oven) & I didn't have any issues 😁
it turned out stunning, that blue is lovely, colours go well together, glad to see you back :)
Hey Nini - lovely to hear from you. I'm glad to be back! I love the colour too & how striking they are against each other 😁

Thanks for this video, it's given me lots of ideas! Just a question.. after baking the clay, could you pop the tin out of the clay, or is it stuck in?
You're welcome! No, it's stuck to the tin once baked 😁

How thick is your black base on the tin? It is gorgeous!
Hey Cheryl ,Thank you! It's 0.3 cm or setting 3 on a pasta machine 😁
