Okay now. MJ looks pissed at the move ☹️. He had the old place all to himself as chief rooster, so now he has less room. Chateau du Poulet is looking more like home now with all the work you have accomplished. I cannot believe how hard you have toiled this year, and how much more there still is to do before the winter. The garden itself was such a huge project and now the orchard is looking so good as well. The cat barn-house may need another story added now too! Just kidding! Stay healthy and warm Chad 👏🏻

Haha yeah the cat house won’t be big enough 🐱 😜 I just got MJ’s run finished so he can go outside now too. Thnx for all your dedication to our channel Leona, we always look forward to your comments. Chad.

Just got my OES puppy last week…she’s already making me want to shop for a small ranch in the woods!

Haha yeah they love us so much you just want to give them the best life. Molly is the life of our farm and it brings a smile to my face to see her super happy and free. Mind you dogs are usually happy anyway. 1 week in eh your pup must be still getting to know you, but they are so funny at that age. They’re legs are so short it’s fun to watch them shuffle around. It took me 4 months to potty train Molly hopefully you can do better than me. I miss those young puppy days too though, hopefully I can have more in my life at some point or maybe breed them too. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your puppy cause OES are truly the best. Chad.

Chad, you are way up in Ontario. Are the winters there more severe than on the Ontario/New York state border?

Our weather is the same, although our property is in ski country. That’s one of the reasons we decided to turn this into a farm stay, people stay here throughout the winter too and go to ski. We’re only about 1.5 hrs north of Toronto so it’s not too bad.

Can you put a hen saddle on a duck? You could try

I'll try it when my saddles arrive...they're on order. trouble is ducks mostly mate in the water so we'll see how it goes, it's worth a try.
