The funny thing is that people think Rosario is really dangerous, like what they see in TV shows but it doesn't compare to how dangerous other Latin American countries can be. Rosario is Switzerland in comparison.
rosario no es tan peligroso, lo agrandaron en la redes diciendo que es muy peligroso pero en realidad es muy lindo rosario, hay inseguridad obviamente pero es mejor que otros lugares de Argentina
Thank you for visiting our home, our temple. And for showing the world our passion. You will always be welcome. Newell's Old Boys, el mas grande del interior.
Did you honestly feel any problems Josh?I'm English and was in Argentina last month. I'm seriously thinking about moving to Argentina as it's an amazing country.
If you have money, you should really consider moving to "Belgrano R". You have a train station nearby and most of the houses have a british/english architecture. There's even a part called the "english neighbourhood"
My wife is Argentinian. Visited many times over the years as well as lived there for a short while. It has it's problems and tbh when you live there it's not the same as visiting. The poverty/inequality, crime and terrible governments can become a little draining for your average European, but the people (so friendly, open and welcoming, even to British people!), landscapes and weather are what make it. Not to mention some great meat, wine and food like empanadas, locro, milenesa etc. Now the UK and other European nations are going in the wrong direction, Argentina does seem an attractive option. With Milei hopefully the future is much brighter economically, he just needs to temper his 'anarchic libertarianness' a little. I plan on sending my kids there to University (save a couple of hundred thousand!) and will probably retire there or at least have a place to go in the UK winter as the weather there is so good.
This year, with the new government, great changes are happening in Santa Fe and particularly in Rosario, the justice system and the police are working hard and a lot of corruption is being eliminated, and criminals from cases from years ago are being caught, but although there are almost no homicides, things were not solved, for example, football in Rosario Central and Newells has a lot to do with drug trafficking, corruption and criminals and it is a very big problem to solve, but there is no doubt that Rosario is much safer and better times are coming.
I love visiting Argentina and have seen just one football match, River Plate versus Hurucan at the Monumental, after watching this series of uploads I need to return and check out a few more grounds. Thanks Fusion Josh, congratulations on hitting the 100k, and keep up the good work!
Not sure when you came here but Buenos Aires is always getting a little bit prettier. Despite the economic situation, one thing we are is resilient, and that stands out so much in football. It is most of our true passion and therefore also a motor.
I love Argentinian football. The passion, the stadiums, the talent, they've got it all! I'm a Lazio fan as you Josh but I'm also a big Boca fan. But I also love watching videos of all the other fans of clubs in Argentina, they are soooo good and the atmosphere they create is so unique. Sadly because of the time difference (I am from Bulgaria) I can't watch live any matches but I do watch a lot of highlights from games. I watched all your videos from this trip with so much joy and you can see in your eyes that you were enjoying yourself a lot.
Wonderful reporting, Josh! I am so happy for you. You are living the dream but this episode and your whole Argentinian trip-of-a-lifetime must have been heaven indeed. Come back home safely and thank you so much for your content. Taking us fellow football- and stadium enthusiasts around the world has been such a treat. And now, having broken the 100.000 threshold, you are indeed standing on the shoulders of giants. Well deserved, mate! All the best from a fellow Laziale!

Congratulations on reaching the 100k. Came here after just watching the Away Days episode from the same match. I've had a soft spot for NOB for ages just down to their kit. These two vlogs have ignited a want for me to go an visit.
I'm so thrilled that you're loving our beautiful country! You're experiencing the true soul of football here. Brazil may have the numbers, but we have the passion-and let’s not forget the glaciers, forests, mountains, waterfalls, and so much more. I hope you've also had the chance to see why we’re proud to have some of the most diverse and breathtaking landscapes in the world. Finally, thank you for sharing our land with the world-or at least with whoever clicks on this video, lol!

You didn't catch an ideal game, as both Newell's and Boca had a bad year and are playing horribly. But watching football in Argentina is always a pleasure because of the atmosphere. Thank you for highlighting our football culture, Josh! You have a way with words that makes it feel even more special. Congrats on 100k!
Small thing to point out Insecurity has gone down quite a lot in 2024 compared to previous years, and "tourist" spots are pretty safe during the day The centro zone is quite safe, unless you go there at night, some streets are pretty deserted Residential areas and "popular" or poor areas are the true danger, like south zone and such Glad you visited anyway, the city has a lot to offer, and our arms are always open, cheers

Fusion Josh, Congratulations with the 100k subs, you deserve it mate. In the new year it is time to come back to PSV🔴⚪💡 and give our fans a second change in a better match.
Friend, I love that you came and enjoyed my city; however, you visited the smallest team in Rosario. The classic and popular team is Club Atlético Rosario Central, and 60% of the city supports Central. I hope you can come back and visit a world-class stadium!
Rosario is statistically about 4 times more dangerous than the rest of Argentina in terms of murder, but it is still statistically safer than many cities in the United States. And this year, Rosario has reduced to about 25% of the last few years. I live here and have been to watch Newells several times, and I have never felt unsafe. Rosario is a beautiful city, don’t be put off visiting.
Rosario is a really nice city. Visited a few times. Always surprised to hear about the hype about crime as never felt it was a dangerous place. I went to the Newells stadium and there was the biggest trench/pit I've ever seen and then high railings. All to keep the fans off the pitch. Seems they got rid if that pit.
If you ever come back you should visit the rivals Rosario central, it's the team I support. Last year they won the league's cup. Di Maria, lo Celso and Kempes played here
Estuve en esa tribuna, cerca de los asientos de protocolo. Habían unos extranjeros cerca nuestro y algunos les querían pegar porque "no cantaban", pensando que podrían ser de Boca.
