- We have been here before. Every couple generations, the Jewish community is faced with wide-spread antisemitism. And this time, tag, we’re it. But looking back through history, there’s a trend that gives us hope, we have always survived and those who tried to destroy us are gone. So let’s remind ourselves, we will not only survive this, but we will thrive this.

Do you not yet get why this happens? It's due to our behavior and we only survived because we did teshuvah and because of our forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob yes, a remnant will survive, but that does not mean you personally will survive unless you also do teshuva and change your ways. No, we don't "encourage". That's one thing, but not the only thing, that makes us different.
People have to want to join on their own, not through encouraging, but through their watching, observing and their own personal desire.
It would be OK about encouraging, when we are speaking of those who are of a patrilineal Jewish descent. In other words, those with that Jewish connection, but not technically Jewish.

There was a time before Christianity became the state religion of the Roman Empire where conversion was much more common in that 10% of the population of Rome was Jewish. Our puny numbers hurt us. I think we need to change these customs (it’s not Jewish law) of pushing people away if we want to not just survive, but thrive, in this life. And we should count Noahides too as those practicing Judaism.

The 10% number in Rome probably includes Noahides, or as they were referred to then, 'G-D fearers'. Because the Romans tended to include all those who declared belief in 1 G-D as being Jews.
